yeji was going to go out today since she's out of milk, get it? ha, kidding— i meant cow's milk, those preserved drink being sold from the market. the rain suddenly pours down and luckily she doesn't even got out of the apartment building yet.

"yo," familiar voice said out of nowhere. her head quickly turn to where that voice came from. the voice came from the taller figure in the landlord's counter, "need an umbrella?"

she widen her eyes; surprised to see the person. she approach the counter and ask, "what are you doing in there?"

it was soobin, flashing a smile at her. he took few moment to understand what she asked. he grins, "i work here. well, part-time."

"where's ms. landlord?" yeji asked another, wandering her eyes around to see nobody behind soobin.

he yawns and lend her an umbrella, "i told you, she's on vacation. where you off to?"

"market." yeji said shortly. she mentally facepalm herself, cursing as well for forgetting that the landlord was currently away. she look at the umbrella, "i'll pass."

she was going to get back to her apartment when soobin invites her, "wanna have a coffee with me, ms. apartment 5?"

oh, right. she's also out of coffee beans. she shyly looks at him, hesitant. he open the counter for her to get in, she did walk in. he gave her a chair to take a seat. she silently watch him ready the coffee for both of them.

they talked random things as the coffee is being made. the rain looks like it'll pour more for awhile, giving them more time to talk. yeji thinks soobin wasn't bad at all. she decides to introduce herself, "mr. choi, uhh.. i'm hwang yeji."

soobin smiled at her warmly, "call me soobin. nice to meet you, yeji."
