The green grass of the meadow flew as the wind blew. She knew that it had been moons since her passing but the pain in her heart ached more and more each moon she couldn't take it anymore. Peppermint, a flame colored she-cat with a cyan bow on her neck walked up to her, she laid down next to her and licked her ears. 

"good morning Sparkle, isn't the sunrise just beautiful?" Peppermint said grooming sparkle's fur, Peppermint had been the cat that had taken care of her after she died and arrived in the meadow. Sparkle's claws flexed as she stretched yawned, she tasted the fresh air as she laid down again.

"have you ever met my mother?" she asked, the only memories of her mom was when she was cuddled in a ball as the snow was raging freezing her to death.

"oh, when i was alive i did meet her once, your father, fern, was sitting at a fence next to raisin as they looked at the sunset. i was walking on the fence when i noticed them." she paused and sighed "soon your mother noticed me and thought i was a threat so she attacked me, from your mother impression I noticed she had rather murderous personality".  Sparkles face nodded, she always understood her mothers "murderous" personality, she had it. Hunting was always her favorite thing to do, not because she could eat it but because it was fun to end lives.

"hey Sparkle mind if i show you something?" Peppermint said getting up and walking to wards the border to starclan. Sparkle got up and walked next to her.

"what is it?" Sparkle asked as Peppermint stopped. she pointed her right paw towards  black crack that had tiny white dots. Sparkle gasped as she knew exactly what it meant, a portal to the real world, she though as she ran crossing the starclan border and jumping in when a black she-cat with a bit of white and pink grabbed on to her back stopping her from getting through the portal. 

"and what do you think your doing?" the she-cat was tall with black fur and a star on her forehead wich was pink and white. Sparkle looked down and sat down as a way to make the she-cat adore her in her adorableness. she just laughed in amusement, her plan had worked. "i can never stay mad at a tiny kit can i." she said, "my name is half star former leader of diamond clan". 

"oh, well ill just be back on my way to the meadow" she growled, halftsar had stopped her from going into that portal but she knew exactly when to come.

"oh ok little one, ill see you some other time then" Halfstar said walking into a bush and disappearing. Sparkle just crossed the border back to the meadow with her paws touching from the starry green grass of starclan to the pure green grass of the meadow. 

"i need to get into that portal" she growled, that portal to living cats was her ticket into a new life as a new cat. Peppermint sighed she followed behind Sparkle as she thought of ways to sneak in and get in the portal.

"Hey Sparkle you know if you enter that portal you wont be able to see me" Peppermint said catching up to me. Her soft slick fur was rubbing next to Sparkles purple fur, she licked my cheek as she waited for me to answer. 

"you know ill do anything to get a second chance at life, i left the earth too soon i should've lived in Diamondclan beside my brother " she responded in a stern tone, Sparkle dint want to hear Peppermints reasons for me to not jump into that portal. 

"oh ok then, ill help you cross the border at twilight when most starclan cats are hunting far away from where the portal is. Sparkles nodded then they both walked together to the Sand hole a hollow made of sand with a giant rock in the midle where most meadow cats like to sleep. 

"Hello Lucas!" Peppermint mewed at a cream colored cat with bright orange stripes and belly.

"Oh hello Peppermint" Responded Lucas, soon the cats sounds drowned out as Sparkle was thinking of a plan, a Plan that would help her get into that portal and escape this after life.
