An amazing afternoon

Jack and I had, from super-awkward acquaintanceship, moved on to slightly-less-awkward new-friendship. It grew stronger everyday, I guess. Our interests were poles apart, but we somehow managed to tolerate it for the sake of the other.

It felt golden to talk to him. I mean, how sweet can a guy even be? Jack could, apparently.

One afternoon I was rereading a novel and was pinged thus:

Jack: Hullo

Me: Hi there

Jack: What's up?

Me: Nm. I'm just sitting here, reading The Hunger Games. Unexpected holiday. Wbu?

Jack: Eh, I've got a holiday too. Downloading some music, and by the way, I live like, 10 feet below you. Just saying :)

Me: Haha, Not interested in meeting up rn. Too lazy lol

Jack: Never asked you to. :P

Me: So I just embarrassed myself, didn't I?

Jack: Lol I don't know about that. We could always meet if you wanted to.

Me: See? You just asked.

Jack: We'll leave it at that. By the way, have you watched this film called The Last Song?

Me: It features Miley Cyrus, right? Nope, I've never :D

Jack: Okay yeah. So try to watch it sometime. It's the kind of hopeless romance that you like.

Me: Whoa there. Don't judge me

Jack: Never lmao

Me: Haha okay. I really want to watch The Catching Fire btw

Jack: I can take you :)

Me: Sure. Why are you being so nice to me?

Jack: Because I'm your best friend.

Me: Stop assuming

Jack: Just saying :P

Me: Watch the film with me and I just might confer you that title :D

Jack: That's nice lol

Me: Okay, I gtg now. See you later

Jack: Yeah, take care :)

A/N: So... the timings are kind of wrong in the screenshots, but take it all to be around 2 pm, and we'll have it covered! :)

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this whole multimedia thing.

Most of the later part of the story will be regular writing, but here, I might do something like this more, just to spice up stuff. If you'd like more of texts and screenshots, do let me know! :)
