Sparrowflight's eyes narrowed to slits as he bared his teeth in the beginnings of a snarl. His neck fur rose, but there was no fear scent to be found. His gaze flickered back and forth, watching the rogues, waiting for the attack.

They moved as a unit, together and with precision. Blazestar has given a ragtag group of murderers order and purpose. There was no telling how dangerous that could be.

Sparrowflight quickly realized that the rogues were trying to surround them before they attacked. Thankfully, he wasn't the only one who realized this. Falconwing and Mudpool intercepted the path of the rogues circling tactic. They stared for a moment, before chaos ensued.

Sparrowflight couldn't tell who attacked first, but it set off a chain reaction. Within seconds, every cat was fighting, even Sparrowflight, who had been attacked by two rogues, a ginger and tortoiseshell. They both were quickly able to pin him with his stomach against the ground, claws digging into the back of his neck. Sparrowflight growled lowly as all four of his legs were quickly held down by the two cats.

One of them leaned down to whisper in Sparrowflight's ear "Look at you! You thought your little Clan could beat us? Blazestar told us everything. What did he say about you again?" The cat chuckled a menacing chuckle "Oh yeah. He said you disobeyed him the most. We made you pay for it when we killed your little mate." Sparrowflight's eyes widened before a loud growl formed in his throat. "What was her name again? Oh.. I think it was Tigerlily." The other rogue giggled "Look Rust! You made him mad!"

Sparrowflight squirmed, kicking and thrashing to no avail. His legs were still held down tightly against the ground. No matter how much he wanted to fight, he was trapped. Stormheart's voice rang in his head: What are you waiting for? Use your head! Sparrowflight blinked in realization before he quickly threw his head back, hitting one of the rogues, weakening the vise grip on his legs. Sparrowflight was then able to kick away the tortoiseshell and spun back to his feet, face to face with the ginger rogue, who Sparrowflight assumed was Rust.

"Maybe you're not as weak as I thought." Rust meowed, licking Sparrowflight's blood off his paw. Sparrowflight's eyes narrowed at the cats neck. Around it was a blue color, signifying that this cat lived with twolegs. "You're a kittypet?" He asked, a bit surprised that he could fight so well. Rust's hackles raised "Yeah, so?" Sparrowflight looked into the midst of the battle and saw many, many collars. "Do you like your twolegs?" He asked. "Firstly, I call them housefolk, and secondly, I wouldn't stay if I didn't like them!" He hissed. Sparrowflight inwardly smiled. This cat was getting defensive, meaning he had the upper hand. "If you want to see your twolegs— or housefolk again, then you need to stop following Blazestar." Rust's eyes blazed and he leaped at Sparrowflight, who was quickly able to duck, avoiding the blow, before leaping onto the kittypet, pinning him.

"Fine then, stay with Blazestar." He hissed in his ear "After today you'll become his slave." Rust's eyes widened "B-Blazestar said he'd let us go home t-to our housefolk. He said we could come back and get all the fresh-kill we wanted." Sparrowflight shook his head "Blazestar is a liar and will do no such thing. He knows you and your friends are too stupid to realize what he's doing to you. Are you stupid, Rust?" The ginger cat shook his head. "Then leave and take your kittypet friends with you while you still can." Rust gulped audibly, nodding quickly. Sparrowflight stepped off and the kittypet quickly fled the battle, followed by the tortoiseshell, who also wore a collar.

The kittypets all slowly began to file out of camp, making the rogues numbers drop tremendously. Blazestar, who was lounging around on the high rock, watching the battle quickly stood up, fear blazing in his eyes. "What are you doing?! Don't you remember our promise?!" Sparrowflight grinned with satisfaction "They realized how meaningless your promises are!" He called up to him.

Blazestar's head snapped over to glare at Sparrowflight "I should've known." He growled. Sparrowflight prepared to leap onto the rock, but stopped when he felt a tail rest on his back. He looked over, surprised to see Badgerstep, and even more surprised to see how little wounds he received. "Let's go together." Badgerstep meowed "And remember, you can't say no. I'm still deputy." Sparrowflight rolled his eyes. This wasn't the time, nor the place for another argument with Badgerstep. "Fine." Sparrowflight muttered

The two cats made their way over to the base of the rock before jumping on. Blazestar stood at the top while Sparrowflight and Badgerstep stood at the bottom. Blazestar now wore a wicked grin, and Sparrowflight was surprised not to smell any fear from him. They made their way to the top of the rock, trapping Blazestar. The leader stood on the very edge, nervously looking down at the ground below, where it was a bloodbath. Now that the kittypets had all left, the odds were even, but defeating the rogues was still a difficult task.

"Blazestar." Sparrowflight growled "Leave Windclan now, and take your rogues with you." Blazestar glared at Sparrowflight defiantly "And what happens if I don't?" Sparrowflight glanced over at Badgerstep, then back at Blazestar "There's two of us and one of you. You can try fighting us both, but it's a fight you cannot win."

Blazestar smiled evilly "Oh Sparrowflight. You have courage, but you're still so stupid." Before Sparrowflight could register Blazestar's words, he felt a powerful shove, and suddenly there was nothing beneath his feet. He was falling!

Sparrowflight landed hard on the ground and the wind was knocked out of him. Everything went black. The last thing he saw were the malignant eyes of Blazestar and Badgerstep. Leader and deputy. Working as one....

Sorry this chapter was kinda short. Next chapter will probably be the last one, if not the one after that. I put a lot more effort into writing this chapter than I do my other ones so I hope you like it! :)
