Flash & Arrow

Barry was standing in the shadows as he talked to Iris in disguise. Suddenly, Cisco interrupted their conversation.

"Barry, you there?"

"What?"

"Police got a ping from the tracer hidden in the stolen cash. SWAT team's closing in on the 1600 block of Pass."

"Now stop ruining Iris' love life and go!"

Barry turned to Iris.

"I've gotta run."

"I bet you say that to all the girls."

He turned to look at her with a smile.

"What other girls?"

"He always paid in cash, never seemed like trouble."

"He's on the move."

"Freeze!"

"Hold it right there!"

"Hands up!"

"Is there a problem, gentlemen?"

Joe motioned for the other police officer next to him as the masked man still had his back to them.

"Certo."

Certo walked over to the man with his gun in the air.

"Turn around!"

The man turned around, eyes glowing directly at Certo. He was motionless for a second until Joe talked to him.

"Certo, what are you waiting for? Cuff him!"

The officer turned around, his gun in the air.

"You don't tell me what to do!"

Anger was spewing with his words as his eyes glowed red. He loaded his gun as Joe yelled.

"Get down!"

He fired once, bullets flew towards the officers as Barry came running in, pushing all the officers in target area onto the ground. He loaded again and was pushed back by two arrows to his shoulder blades. He cried out in pain, holding the arrows without movement. Joe and Barry turned around to see Starling City's vigilante, his bow high in the air.

"Nice mask."

He climbed up towards the roof, disappearing as he left Barry with a smile on his face, and a confused Joe next to him.

"It's kind of comforting to know that no matter what city you go to, Big Belly Burger is always going to taste like Big Belly Burger."

"You mean full of grease and salt?"

Felicty turned around with a shocked look on her face, staring at Diggle, who was casually sipping on his soda.

"I thought those were the secret ingredients."

A motorcycle was heard in the distance as Felicity turned around.

"Oliver's back."

Felicity turned around just as a blur of red zoomed past the motorcycle, immediately heading to the porch where Felicity and Diggle where. Stopping at the edge, Diggle dropped his fries as Barry smiled, walking over and talking to them.

"By the way, I gave Oliver like a half-hour head start."

Felicity smiled at Barry's words, as Diggle just stood there with astonishment on his face.

"Hi Barry."

"Hey Felicity," he turned to Diggle as he retured the smile, "How you doing, Digg?"

"You're fast."

Barry turned to Felicity, a confused look appeared across his face. "Did you guys not tell him about me?"

"Well, seeing is believing." Felicity chuckled, turning back to Diggle, "Or drooling."

Barry turned around, seeing as Oliver stopped and took off his helmet, walking over to the trio.

"Hey. Thanks for showing up back there, but, I had that."

"Uh-huh."

"I was getting ready to make my move."

"What move? The one to the morgue?"

As Oliver stopped infront of the trio, Barry directed the question he had been dying to ask them.

"What are you guys doing in Central City?"

Felicity immediately answered, much to Oliver's gaze on her.

"Working a case. Suspicious homicide in Starling where the murder weapon, is a boomerang."

She took out a plastic 'inspection' bag where a silver boomerang was. Barry gasped, grabbing the weapon as he inspectioned it.

"Cool." Oliver gave Barry a glare as he quickly changed his wording, "I mean, awful."

"I found traces of iron oxide on it. I know it's a long shot, but Central City has the highest concentration of iron oxide in the country."

"Did you know Australian aboriginals used boomerangs to hunt. Mainly on kangaroo, which is a suprisingly low-fat source of--"

Felicity cleared her throat, motioning for Barry to put the weapon back in the bag as Oliver changed the topic.

"Ahem. We were following a lead when we heard the SWAT raid over the radio, and I thought that I would come by, watch you make your move."

Barry chuckled as Diggle broke the ice, using a past memory.

"I had a cousin got hit by lightning once. He just developed a stutter."

"Huh. Well, my team and I are after a nasty meta-human who makes people angry."

"Cool." Felicity widened her eyes, "I mean, awful."

"Since you're here, why don't we team up? I'll help you find your boomerang man, you help me find my super rageaholic."

"We'd love to!"

Oliver responded, sharply, as he glared at Felicity, shooting a glance at Barry.

"No. We'll handle our business and head home."

"The fastest way to find about the boomerang is to sic S.T.A.R. Labs on it."

"Enough people know my secret identity."

"Fine. I'll go. They already know who I am. You can drop me off, and I'll meet up with you later."

Barry ran towards Felicity, picking her up and running towards S.T.A.R. Labs.

"How about I give you a lift?"

"Ooh."

Once Barry got inside The Cortex, he let Felicity down as she turned around.

"So, what'd you think?"

"I think.." Felicty looked down at her shirt as she gasped, "My shirt's on fire!"

"Oh, my-- sorry."

Barry quickly patted her shirt as he realized what he was doing, removing his hands and grabbing Felicity's bag, which had fallen when she had realized her mistake. She took off her shirt, putting her arms over her chest, as she looked at Barry, who held her bag in her hands. Taking the bag from his hands, she sighed.

"I'm glad I decided not to go braless."

When Barry realized that Cisco and Caitlin had walked into the room, his eyes widened as he turned to look at them, his cheeks flushed a bright pink as he motioned to Felicity.

"You guys remember Felicity?"

"I'll always remember this."

Caitlin shot Cisco a look as she grabbed a S.T.A.R. Labs sweatshirt that was lying around, walking over and handing it to Felicity.

"Hi, Felicity. It's so good to see you. What brings you back to Central City?" Caitlin made a face, looking back and forth between Barry and Felicity, "Not Barry."

"No, not Barry. This? Not happening. We looked down that road and we said, 'No, thank you.'"

"They get it."

"Actually, I am here because of this."

Felicity pulled out the boomerang as Cisco's eyes widened, gasping at the sight of a very interesting piece of evidence.

"Awesome. What are the wings made out of?"

"Not sure. I'm thinking some kind of composite or high-density plastic."

"Reinforced with carbon fiber. Oh, that's weird. It almost feels like it's--"

"Vibrating."

"Yeah."

"Yeah."

"Oh, I wanna run some tests and I wanna run them right now!"

Cisco and Felicity walked into a room as they both connected cables to the boomerang in their hands.
