Flash vs. Arrow
Barry was furious. Not because of what had happened, but because he had seen Iris leave with Eddie. Why did that make him mad? Well, you'll see.
Eddie and Iris were driving towards their share apartment as Barry suddenly pulled Eddie out of the car, throwing him on the pavement as he rolled a couple times.
He approached a lying Eddie as he spoke, vocal chords vibrating and anger spewing.
"I heard you've been looking for me. All this time you've been trying to catch me, but I caught you first. Guess you haven't read your girlfriend's blog."
Eddie pulled out a gun as Iris faintly shouted before he shot, multiple times, at the Scarlet Speedster. He dodged them as he ran behind Eddie.
*BACK AT THE CORTEX*
"Ooh, see, I knew the Arrow was Oliver Queen. I mean, I had it narrowed it down to a list of 150 people, but he was definitely on that list."
Doggie glared at Cisco as he turned to the rest of the team.
"You have a way to stop Barry's rage fest?"
"I have an idea about how to do that. Joe, I'm gonna need your help."
"We need to find him first before he hurts somebody."
Felicity gasped as she turned around to her monitor, Wells, Diggle, Cisco, Caitlin and Joe right behind her.
"I have him. Facial recognition picked him up on a traffic camera downtown. Oh, God."
*THIRD PERSON POV*
Eddie lunged at the masked superhero as he pushed him behind with his speed.
"Eddie!"
"Who the hell are you, huh? You think you can just come along and get to have whatever you want? What gives you the right?!"
Eddie coughed, army-crawling, as blood dribbled down his chin.
"What the hell are you talking about?"
Iris suddenly caught the speedster's attention as she was able to take his actions away from Eddie.
"What are you doing? What has happened to you?"
"I feel fine."
"You are not fine!"
"How would you know because you write about me? You don't know me! You don't know who I am. You never did!"
"I know that you have risked your life to help people, to save them. Someone who does that does not suddenly turn around and wanna hurt people. Please."
He ignored her words as he lunged for Eddie, grabbing his collar, before hanging a cable wrapped around his body, being pulled off of the injured police officer.
"Run!"
"Eddie, run!"
The Arrow appeared as he held onto Barry.
"You need to calm down."
Barry snapped back as she gripped the cable with force.
"And you need to hold on."
Barry dragged Oliver all the way into an alleyway, his body dragging behind him. He jerked him to a stop as Oliver turned around, looking at him dead in the eye.
"I just hope they can turn Barry back before he kills Oliver."
"I'm more concerned about what Oliver will have to do to Barry."
"Barry has superpowers. Oliver has a bow and arrow."
"Do you have any idea how many people Oliver has killed with that bow and arrow?"
"Recurve bow arrows can travel up to 300 feet per second, so 200 miles and hour. Barry can run 3 times that fast."
"Whatever. Oliver's been doing this a lot longer. My money's on experience."
"My money's on speed."
"Please tell me you guys aren't having this conversation right now."
Barry walked up to a kneeled Pliver as he positioned his bow and fired two arrows straight at him. Dodging them in half a second, he turned, a mischievous smile on his face.
"You missed."
"No."
The arrows exploded as Barryw as sent to the ground. He let out s cry of pain as Oliver watched it unfold. He quickly got up before Barry noticed as he looked up, being met with an empty alleyway. He was suddenly shot in the shoulder as he turned around, where Oliver was now walking towards him.
"2 thousand milligrams of horse tranquilizer. Should be hitting you anytime now."
Barry gasped, the effect starting to kick in as he pulled out the arrow. Using his ability to phase through physical objects, he started to dissolve the tranquilizer that was once inside his body. It faded away as Oliver registered his new ability.
Barry turned around and started to make a vacuum around Oliver, a fire from nearby surrounding the masked vigilante as well. He shot yo at a nearby building, pulling himself up.
"Where are you going?"
Barry ran up the building, reaching Oliver just as he had gotten up.
"We are not done!"
He pulled the arrow out of its place as Oliver fell to the ground. He quickly shot anther arrow, cushioning his fall.
"Is that all you got?"
Oliver took that as his chance to take a few punches at Barry, which he dodged with ease. He kept going, and in the end, landed a good blow to the face. In anger, Barry lunged straight at Oliver. He started to punch the life out of Oliver as he groaned in pain, punch after punch being delivered to his body.
"Oliver, get up."
Oliver grabbed a device out of his pocket as he pressed a button. Two arrows from his motorcycle were sent towards Barry, as he turned around and caught them.
"Fool me once."
Oliver took it as a chance to throw a small arrow into Barry's left thigh, making him kneel in pain. He pulled the arrow out of his thigh just as Oliver was getting up. He sighed, in pain, as he looked at a rage-filled Barry Allen.
"I still believe in you, Barry."
I'm anger, Barry lunged at Oliver, fist in front of him as Oliver caught it with ease. Oliver punched Barry's forearm as he turned him around, Ina shoulder-headlock as a van headed straight for them.
"Is this even gonna work?"
"He just needs to see the right colors. Now, Joe!"
The van swerved as the back doors opened, revealing light fixtures, which turned on immediately. Barry stared at them, mesmerized as Oliver let go of him. The color red in Barry's eyes suddenly vanished as he gasped and sighed.
"Barry? You okay?"
He turned around, still gasping for air as he directed it at Oliver.
"Oh, this is gonna be a special kind of hangover."
"So.... it was a tie."
