In the living room Nathan was watching fast and furious 9 when Natalia came down the stairs and shouted "How could you? You are actually watching the latest fast and furious episode without me; that is so unfair Nate. I don't care; you're starting it over."

"Ahh!" Nathan groaned

"That is what happens when you do something selfish now hand the remote or I will use my phone."

"It's so unfair that you are a computer scientist, I think I will go back to school to study that so I can have an edge over you"

"As if you can; you are not that smart." he gasped in shock

"What do you mean? I graduated with a 5.0 CGPA for crying out loud." He defended

"That's it; you can also name all the awards you received okay. As for me, I have a movie to watch and I don't want you to interrupt."

"You don't seem sick at all."

"Yeah I feigned my fainting" Nathan frowned at her and turned to the television

"Natalia, do you want to take your drugs now?" Their mother asked as she joined them in the sitting room

"No mother, I will take it in the next two hours."

"Okay." she left them to continue watching their movie

Two hours later Blaire brought the drugs and handed it to Natalia who was almost asleep; when she was about to turn around she bumped into Nathan who shouted at her and asked if she was blind.

"I'm sorry sir; I did not know you were coming."

"Whatever, get out of my sight."

"Are you going to keep standing there?" Nathan interrupted her train of thoughts and she immediately walked away

"She's just too clumsy" Nathan said "Natalia get up the movie is over."

"Carry me to my room I'm too tired to walk" Nathan bent down to her height and carried her in bridal style. On their way they up the stairs they met their parents and Nathan nodded greeting them.

"I didn't even get to talk with my princess and now she's asleep." Their father said

"Tomorrow is another day Rob you'll talk to her tomorrow." His wife said and he sighed as they went to their own room

"Who's calling early this morning?" She said when she heard her ringing tone dynamite by bts playing. She stretched to her bedside drawer and picked the call without noticing the caller ID "Who's this?" she asked

"Miss Willows I'm calling to ask for any new updates." She heard her director's voice

"Yes sir, I don't have any now but I will get some information soon." she assured him

"Okay, but I will need that information before the end of today. Am I clear? Or you will be changed."

"I will sir" the phone call had ended. She sat up and groaned

'I wonder why Mr. Jack is nice to me now - a - days but I don't care. I have some work to do' she stood up to have her bath and went to the main house to clean the living room and kitchen.

"Good morning Beatrice, how was your night?" She greeted when she saw the woman

"Blaire, my night was refreshing, what about yours?"

"Same Beatrice till it got interrupted by my director; such an evil man"

"That's good; it's been over a week you've resumed I'm sure you're enjoying your stay here right?"

"Yes Beatrice, can I call you aunt Bee?"

"Just call me Bee"

"Okay Bee, what are we cooking this morning?" she enquired

"Gloria is taking care of that; you can rest after cleaning up and please don't cross paths with Nathan this morning. I'm tired of both of you's drama"

"Aunt Bee! It's not my fault Nathan is just not nice." she said as she tried to get some info about Nathan

"Nathan was not always like this, he was a very nice and gentle boy growing up till something happened. You might never know about what happened except Nathan or Talia tells you."

"Okay I understand I must find out what happened to Nathan so I can also tell Mr. Jack and to use it to find out the truth." she thought

"I will go start my work now; how is Hailey?"

"She's better, she just needs more days to rest" Beatrice said

"Okay I'll be quick so there won't be drama I hope"

As she was cleaning Nathan came downstairs "Why did you not come to carry the tray yesterday?" He asked

"I thought you didn't me near you."

"What are you trying to say? So does that mean you shouldn't do your duties?" He asked angrily

"No but-"

"You see just forget about it; go and carry it now and you better not do anything funny." he said and left

"What have I gotten myself into?" she said as she climbed the stairs.

When she got to the room she saw the tray on his table and the plate wiped clean wow, I can see the food is so not delicious! Jerk. He's just too proud to admit my food was delicious.

"Now let me see what I can get from his room." she was about to move to his study which was an adjoining door to the room when she saw the CCTV camera staring at her. She turned around picked the tray was about to leave when she knocked a ceramic sculpture on the table down. She screamed in fear of what Nathan will do for her

"What is wrong? What happened?" Natalia said barging into the room

"Nathan will kill me!" Blaire lamented and Natalia turned to look at the mess Blaire had made

"I have an idea; I have a similar sculpture in my room so we can replace it." Blaire breathed in relief "I'll go get it." Natalia said going to her room to carry it

"I guess I have to sweep this." she said in worry

"I'm back!" Natalia shouted and placed the sculpture with care

"You're a life saver Natalia, thanks so much"

"It's no big deal; we can avoid Nathan's wrath now."

"Yeah, I need to leave this room before I destroy something else. You still need to rest Natalia." she suddenly remembered that she needed to find out about Nathan but knew it was too early to ask things like that "Bye"

"Aaron I'm tired of running about like a criminal. Why can't they understand that I'm not the one that stole the money?" Aaron started laughing like a jackass

"It can't be solved easily since it's involved with the government. The person called from a phone booth and it's difficult to trace him because he calls from a different phone booth each time." Nathan scowled at him

"Ahh." Nathan shouted in anger "What did I do to annoy this people?"

"I feel like this person knows you to be able to forge your card." Nathan stared at him with a thinking look

"Thanks so much, I know who the person" he said sarcastically "How do you expect me to know the person like that?"

"The most patient dog eats the fattest bone they say; calm down we are getting there."

"Shut up Aaron!"

"I'm leaving; call me when you're more sensible okay?"

"I'm sorry Ronnie; everything is just so scary."

"I understand and I'm trying to help you; you can't win by shouting." Nathan nodded with a somber look

"I've checked the phone booths in our city and I've asked for the footage of the CCTV cameras in their locations."

"I didn't know you've become a detective; I have a best friend that knows little of everything. This is so nice."

"You're diverting, let's focus so as to catch this thief on time." A phone call interrupted them

"Yes father?"

"Put on the television and see what is happening" his father said to him

"Okay father." he said and snapped his finger and the TV came on

On the television a reporter was reporting what happened that day at his office
'Nathan Smith the CEO of Nate Smith industries did not say anything the day we questioned him; he is trying to cover-up for the money he stole.'

On another station 'The renowned Nathan Smith was driving fast like a criminal when he was being tailed. He would not be driving as fast as that if he had not done anything. Are allegations true?' the footage of the scene was shown

Another station 'Nathan was driving at a speed of 150 km/h and will be sued for speed and contempt."

"What the heck are this people spewing?" He snapped his finger again

"Calm down Nathan; why didn't you tell me reporters came to your work place?"

"I did not dim it important"

"You've seen the result now, right?"

"Director that is a wrong thing to broadcast as news; my son is innocent. You should have found out the truth before broadcasting it. Who was the anchor?"

"It is not any of our faults a politician whose name i cannot disclose said we should broadcast it or will destroy this news station"

"And you could not do your findings before disgracing my son. I am no longer a shareholder in that station; I want my money to be returned to me before the end of the day or you'll be sued for defamation."

"Don't do this sir, please" the director pleaded and Robert Smith ended the call

"Arrant nonsense, we'll see how the station will be famous now. I wonder who the reporters are; they can't find out the truth they just say what they like." he said in anger

His wife who was watching him asked "What is wrong?" He relayed everything to her and this made her angry "Why do they keep putting Nathan in trouble? My poor innocent boy." She sighed

"I've withdrawn my shares from the station they can tell that politician to invest in their lies." he said through gritted teeth. His phone began to ring suddenly and he answered it putting it on speaker

"Nate, we know what causes it and we will sue them for defamation."

"What caused it dad?" He relayed the story again and Nathan shouted "What is wrong with this people? Don't they have an atom of integrity, they are thieves and liars. I'll talk to you later dad." and the line went dead.
