"Sabrina, I need you to come over to my office now" Nathan shouted over the phone making his P.a. cringe

"Yes sir I'll be on my way" she replied in fear, getting up from her seat forgetting that her laptop was on her laps she almost let it fall.

When she got to her boss' office she knocked on the door; when she entered after hearing the command to she found her boss looking like a balloon that was about to burst

"Sir you called for me"

"Yes I did, where are the files I asked you to complete? I have been waiting for the part two hours expecting you but you were nowhere to be found. What is your problem? You know I informed you before I employed you that I hate slack workers." he boomed

"I'm sorry sir, I'm almost done I...."

"Shut up" he cut her off " Now go back and bring that file in thirty minutes" she nodded and ran out of his office so she could complete the work before that time

When she got back to her seat she began working like there's no tomorrow and completed it in the next ten minutes and went to submit it. When she got to his office she met him on the phone he nodded dismissing her.

Meanwhile on the phone Aaron, Nathan best friend said "Nathan, don't forget the party we are meant to go to; the one  Carissa invited us to." 

"I don't want to go to that girl's party; she is a pathetic liar and fraud. You know I hate those sort of people. I'm not going and that is final okay? I've got some work to do right now I'll see you in the evening." he ended the call after saying that, the mention of the name of his ex-best friend made him angry.

He had continued working when he received a call from his father telling him to come for dinner and he accepted saying he'll be there. This will be an excuse for not going to Carissa's party he rejoiced.

He continued working till late. When it was time to go home he entered his vehicle and drove off to his parents house.

'Oh no I forgot about meeting Aaron after work, ahh but I can't refuse a good dinner' he thought and picked up his phone to call his friend.

Ring, ring

"What's popping?" Nathan asked

"Nothing" Aaron replied

"I'm sorry I forgot about meeting you today, I can't miss a good dinner prepared by my mother" Nathan said

"Whatever mama's boy, you are talking like you can't cook you should be grateful you know how to cook not like me that can't cook" Aaron lamented

Nathan burst into laughter "I'm almost home, talk to you later"

"Bye" he said and ended the call

When he got home he pressed a button to opened the electric gate; he parked his car and began to move towards the house where he met his father who welcomed him.

"Nate my boy welcome home, didn't you miss home. How was your trip?" Nate's father said hugging

"Thanks dad, where is mum?" he said and his father feigned sadness then he shouted to his wife

"Gloria, I told you this boy doesn't love me as much as he loves you and he just proved it, he has not even asked about my well being he is asking for you already." this made Nathan laugh so hard

"Dad, I love both of you so much that does not mean you should be jealous; dad how are you?"

"I'm not jealous my son and I'm fine too" his mother joined them hugging him and laughing at her husband

"As if, you are jealous and I don't care. How are you my son?"

"I'm fine mother, and how are you?"

"Same my son" suddenly a girl of about twenty years dressed in a light blue gown that stopped at her knee joined them.

"The prodigal son has finally returned, welcome proddy" Natalia, Nathan's younger sister said

"You and trouble, I've been busy with work that's why I cou...."

"Yeah, yeah please spare me all that business talk, so what did you buy for me after abandoning me" Natalia said

"Talia what is wrong with you? You did not let your brother rest you are already asking him for something. You'll never change" their mother scolded

"Mum its okay" he said then faced Natalia "Talia sweetie what about we go shopping tomorrow since I'm free. We can also go to the movies and eat a lot of goodies." he said smiling at his little sister

"That is why I should never get involved in your fights, I can never understand the both of you" their mother said leaving for the kitchen

"Natie I told you to stop calling me sweetie am I your girlfriend?" she said pouting making her brother frown

"And I told you to stop calling me Natie, don't remind me of that...." He hates that name because it reminds him of Carissa

"Stop the bickering and let's watch the news in peace" their father said interrupting them.

"Dad, don't you get bored with the news, try watching a movie or playing a game" Talia said smiling proudly making her father raise his eyebrows then he ignored her

"Talia, come to the kitchen now" their mother shouted

Natalie ran to the kitchen to help her mother serve the food which was cooked earlier by the cook.

When the food was served Nathan began rubbing his hands together like a child that was served his favorite food while Talia stared at her brother in disbelieve.

"Bro, when will you change? Will you continue behaving like a child even when you have given birth to two children" she asked

"Don't come to me to take you shopping" and continued eating ignoring her pleading eyes.

After dinner they asked Nathan about his trip and also if he was able to win the contract then they all retired to bed.

"Welcome home Blaire, how was your day? Did you get summoned for training yet?" Her sister Caitlin asked hugging Blaire

"No I haven't but Sir Harry assured me I'll be summoned soon; how are you? How was your day?" She replied sadly

"I know you'll get summoned soon, I know you're active and hardworking sis"

"Let's get inside or else mother will be worried about you" they got inside and met their mother carrying a tray of snacks

"Mum why did you make some snacks again, I just hope you are not throwing a surprise party again" Saying this made her mother scowl at her.

"I'm just curious mum, I did not have a good day at the agency today" Blair said and this made her mother sad but she tried to be strong for Blaire so she hugged her and assured her she will get summoned soon

"Thanks guys you've really made me happy again let take a shower and I'll join this family party" she said and hopped up the stairs

Few minutes later Blaire's phone rang and she ran down the stairs after hearing it "Blaire you have a phone call from a certain person named Mr. grumpy, hm I wonder who that is." Ashton said to everyone

Blaire suddenly showed up "Just shut up and give me my phone, now everyone please be quiet my boss is the one calling. Hello sir"

"Hello to you too Ms Blaire, how long does it take you to pick a phone call. Any way back to business you have a training which will be for about two weeks or more, so you are to come early with your luggage the bus will convey you to the airport. And don't be late, I repeat don't be late"

"Yes s-" she was about to reply but the call has ended

"This man is too stuck up and full of himself at least I'll be free from him for two weeks or more that's a good thing" she mumbled to herself

"So who was that your secret lover?" Ashton said making Caitlin laugh and he earned a frown from Blaire

"Ashton do you have to be so annoying at all times? And as a matter of fact that was my boss; he called me to get ready for training at last. At least that made me happier so now I have some luggage to pack so later people" she said in excitement earning a smile from her family

She went up and packed her luggage. She was so happy because she has been waiting for this moment. When she got back her mother hugged her tight; so did her remaining family members do the same too.

"I told you Blaire, always believe" her mother said to her

"Blaire, I told you sis; I'm so happy for you; when you get back you have to teach me all the moves that you were taught okay?" Caitlin said happily.

"I'm proud of you little sis and I'm also happy for you. I hope you don't use what you have learnt against me or else I will also become an agent."

'Idiot' she mumbled to herself

"I hope you are not talking to me because it won't take me anything to knock your head right now" Ashton smirked

"

What is your problem Ashton? Your sister is going to be gone for over a month and instead of pampering her till she is gone you are fighting her." Their mother said in disbelief "Now everyone no more argument we are all going to eat this and watch a movie when the movie is done we will order dinner and after dinner everyone to their beds. Blair needs to get up early"

They all kept quiet knowing not to argue with their mother, after they had dinner, talked for about thirty minutes and retired to bed.
