I ready for all this ? Having a vampire kings baby is gonna be a big responsibility I wasn't ready for. I rethink about everything he did to me and I shiver. Then I think again I am absolutely ready to continue my life and go on with it.

I had to leave soon so I asked if we could leave a bit earlier and they agreed .

9 months later

It's been a good quiet months since we moved to California. Not once has my mate tried to find me and the mate bond is finally fading away. I've been feeling contractions a lot lately also. I'm going to have a girl! I was so excited when I found out. I loved the name Quinn so I decided when her day was to come that would be her official name.

My mom and dad come and check up on me here and there. They always keep an eye out for me and to make sure the vampire doesn't try to come. Life's been pretty great besides the bad dreams I have .

I don't think I want Quinn to know her father when she gets older. But that's something big I shouldn't keep from her.

I'm expected any day and I'm actually really excited. Johnny actually left to go run the house with his girl because my father decided to give the position to him .

So I've been living by myself with my mother here and there. I feel a contraction and I yelp. "Mom?!" She runs in and my water breaks. Her eyes widen and she grabs the bag we already prepared.

We make it to the car and she speeds to the vampire doctor. The vampire king Dillion was kind enough to let us give birth here.

When we arrive the pack doctor already comes out with a wheelchair . She helps me onto it and wheels me in. I clutch my fist and squeeze my eyes shut.

We make it up to the doctors room and her heads already coming out. I scream as she gets me up onto the bed and her team was already working. One was holding my hand and the others were getting the baby out.

"Push!" I push real hard and after four times she's finally out ! My beautiful Quinn is finally out ! I cry happy tears and smile. My mom was crying also and had the biggest smile on her face . The door opened wide and I almost about fainted.

It was my mate.... The Vampire King!

I couldn't move a muscle neither could my mother. We just sat there eyes wide open. "Look at my pretty baby!" He walks over and I gulp tears running down my cheeks. I hold my baby close to my chest and tell him to back up.

"You have no right coming in here!" My mother yelled at him. He just shrugged his shoulders . When he reached his hands out I help Quinn a little bit tighter.

"Julia just let me hold her." I frown and say no. "I will not let you hold my child Erin !" His eyes turn black and before he could lunge at me someone flings the door wide open.

"Dad!"
