"Snips!" Anakin shouted, deactivating his saber. "How did you survive Order 66? Did you even survive Order 66, or is this your ghost? Or am I hallucinating. Padme, wake me up if I'm dreaming or talking nonsense."

Ahsoka laughed. "No, it's really me." 

"How did you survive Order 66?" Anakin repeated. 

"SotheclonesattackedmeandIfreedMaulandIcapturedRexandtookouthismindcontrolthingyand wegotawaytogetherbutIaccidentallyletMaulescape," Ahsoka blurted.

"Okay, okay. Say it again. Slowly." Anakin laughed. 

"Soooooo thhhhhheeee-" Ahsoka dragged out each word.

"Not that slow." Anakin clarified.

"So the clones attacked me and I freed Maul and I captured Rex and took out his mind control thingy and we got away together but I accidentally let Maul escape," Ahsoka said.

There was a mischievous glint in Anakin's eyes.

"Rex," he said slowly. Ahsoka nodded. "Rex," Anakin repeated. Ahsoka nodded again. 

"Do you care to tell me, out of all the clones, why was Rex the one you saved?" 

"Masterrrrr..." Ahsoka groaned. Then, becoming serious, she asked, "I heard a rumor that all the clones had their mind chips removed. True or false?" 

"True," Anakin said. Ahsoka punched the air in a silent victory. Then a blue-and-white astromech came hurtling around the corner. A voice followed it. "R2! Don't go so fast!"

"R2! 3PO!" called Anakin.

Two seven-year-olds barged into the house. "Dad? Who are they?" asked Leia.

"Leia, Luke, this is your Aunt Ahsoka. And C3PO and R2D2." Anakin announced. 

Luke and Leia stared wide-eyed at Ahsoka. "Dad told us a lot about you." Luke said. 

"What did he say?" Ahsoka asked. 

"He said that you saved the world and and you were the best Padawan ever and he thought you were dead." Leia said. 

"Hey!" yelped Anakin. "She helped me save the world! And she was the second best Padawan ever!"

Ahsoka rolled her eyes. "Shut up, Anakin." Then she turned to the twins. "Wanna hear some stories about your dad?"
