****SPOILER ALERT****

Okay, so the title wasn't very good, but the episode was. We realize that Kanan distanced himself from Ezra, and Ezra BURNED him. 

1. Hera: ''Congratulations, Ezra. Kanan will be proud of you.''

     Ezra: ''Yeah, well, he has a funny way of showing it considering he's never around.''

2. Kanan: ''I can't let you keep this.''

     Ezra: ''Fine. I don't need it, just like I don't need you.''

Smoked! We also see Ezra get promoted to Lieutenant Commander, just to botch the next mission, almost killing himself and the crew at the same time. He contradicts himself later on when the station is plummeting to its death with Ezra riding on it, and he expresses his need for Kanan, who can see if he empties himself completely. The whole reason he was harbored on the station was because Hondo ditched him in a shuttle full of Ugnaughts, he ordered the others to leave in the Y-wings, and he lost the Phantom. Nice going, Lieutenant.
