Spector 7 out! Peace!
Hera's P.O.V.
"Alright guys! Get ready!" I said eagerly through the com. then looking through the window looking at all the ships from the Clone Wars destroyed and covered in sand. The view was tragic.
"Just drop us off and be at the ready for help. We'll most probably need it." Kannan said with pure confidence. A few minutes later, Ezra and Kannan jumped off the ramp of the Ghost at least a mile out from the drop off point of the shipment.
Kannan's P.O.V.
I jumped first and then Ezra. Our landings pretty opposite from each other. Mine was pretty top of the notch, and Ezra just landed and tumbled the rest of the war on the ground. I couldn't help but chuckle after watching that.
"Ouch!" Ezra said while getting up "Hey! You try doing that only a handful of times in your life and landing it perfectly." I guess he noticed I laughed.
"Just get up. We need to get there soon before they start the trade for the blasters." I informed Ezra.
"Ya ya, I know. Let's just see if you can beat me there." Ezra challenged.
"So the kid does listen to when someone talks." I commented.
"Heard that!" the kid yelled back. He is always persistent.
"Of course you did" I mumbled.
We ran until we were at least a couple hundred metres from the trade spot and hide behind some ITTs. Two bucket heads come by and we were sure to knock 'em out so we could take their places as guards. We approached the crates that were not delivered out in the open but in one of the demolished ships. However, something didn't feel right. I felt as if something was going to happen.
"Kannan, do you feel that?" Ezra asked through the force.
"Ya, kid. I do. And it definitely doesn't feel as if something good is about to happen." I replied. "Let's just see how this is gonna go. Worse case scenario, we know what to do. Just keep your guard up."
"Ok." Was all he said before our connection was lost.
Something was most definitely wrong. I could sense it. Just can't place what it is. I was pulled from my thoughts when Ezra was nudging me with his elbow. When I looked at him, he tilted his head to the left a few times in a row indicating the Phantom. Ezra and I looked at each other, nodded our heads remembering the plan, ran for the crates of blasters attached a couple of Sabine's 'miracles' to them and shoved them aside. Sabine opened fire to help us maintain cover while the bucket heads started firing at us. We made a run for it to get to safety when Sabine yelled through my com. "Kannan! We need to make an emergency landing! The Phantom is pretty damaged."
"What! How!" I questioned with worry.
"I-I don't know how! One minute we're fine, the next, the Phantom needs a full repair!" Sabine shouted.
"Try to land safely." I paused "I see you. We'll watch, if we can, to see when you land. Spector 1 out."
We made a break for it and saw that Sabine and Zeb have landed next to a torn up ship. They crept out coughing from the smoke that was coming from the Phantom. We started to run to them to see if they're alright, but something stopped me and Ezra. The cold. We turned around to see that the two Inquisitors had their lightsabers ignited.
"Hugh! Just what we needed." I grumble to myself as we made a dash towards both Sabine and Zeb.
We arrive to them before any of our foes can reach us. I quickly ask if they are okay, and they both reply with a solemn nod.
"Kannan. What do we do?" Sabine asks with worry.
"We'll split into two groups." I started.
"What!" They all yelled in a whisper.
"You don't have to fight. Just keep one of them busy so we can take the one that we're left with, then we'll go help you. Just fire at him, but stay out of the way for your safety. Got it?" I asked keeping my voice on the down low.
"Ya, just what are the teams?" Sabine questions.
"Ezra and I will go fight one, while you and Zeb distract the other buffoon." I stated.
"Ok". They all said in unison.
We ran towards the Inquisitors and both Ezra and I jumped over them landing on the other side of them while Sabine started firing at them. As we had hoped, the two Inquisitors split up; one following us, and the other going after Zeb and Sabine. The Seventh sister stayed behind with us activating the duel lightsaber making it spin. We started to run for a bit to go a little further away from Zeb and Sabine so that they can maybe find the Ghost and come back for us. But they would have to outrun the Fifth brother.
We had to stop running when we hit the end of a ship. It was a dead end from here. We turned and saw the light of the red bladed warrior. Wether we like or not, we're gonna have a battle. The Seventh sister came across the corner with her visor over her face. I could tell she had an unpleasant grin on her face hidden behind the mask.
"Surrender now and I won't make this painful. Especially for your padawan." She said that last word with a hiss that ran chills down my spine. I wouldn't let anything happen to Ezra. Before I could answer to her threat, Ezra answered before me.
"In your dreams 'grandma'." The kid said in a taunting manner.
"Well then, I guess that's that then. This will be more fun with the pain." She threatened us. Again.
"Ya know, threats won't always work." I toyed.
I lunged at her, our blades meeting creating green sparks. She pushed back reactivating the spin setting making it a different fight. "Nothing I can't handle" I said to myself. Hoping to believe it to be true. I rushed at her again but she just used the force to push me back past Ezra making me tumble into a pile of rubble. Something fell on my arm and tore through my flesh, making my blood spill. I held back a yell that was trying to seep through my mouth. With my good arm, I pushed the pieces of scrap off of me and took a better look at my arm. A pice of metal was lodged in my forearm. I took one breath, two breaths, three and "AHHH!" I screeched. Looking back to my arm, I quickly ripped a pice of fabric off of my shirt and wrapped it around my arm to slow the blood leaking through my wound.
Ezra's P.O.V.
I saw Kannan swoosh by me and landed in a pile of rubble. I knew he wasn't unconscious 'cause I saw movement underneath the pile. "Wew" I said with great relief in my mind. I looked back in front of me to see the Seventh sister creeping forward towards me. I ignited my saber to defend myself. She laughed menacingly at my action.
"Surely you can't do better then him. What a pity. Thinking you can defeat me, with what? That meagre training you call 'Jedi training'?" She taunted me.
"I never said that I would defeat you. I am-" I was cut off by a scream. Kannan's scream. "Kannan!" I yelled.
The Seventh sister took advantage to my distraction and shot at me with her body knocking me off balance. As I hit the ground, I heard a saber deactivate and I got hit in the head with something hard. The last thing I heard before I drifted off into darkness was Kannan getting out of the rubble screaming my name. Then I was out like a light.
