Prologue
"Hurry, the storm is going out of control!" Screamed the leader of the StormFliers. It was cold and miserable. The worst part of it was that it was dark. Hundreds of StormFliers were flying the storm, but it still wasn't enough. The storm lashed out, and at least a dozen StormFliers fell. It had already destroyed two cities and was now going for a third. The leader of the StormFliers, Gee, yelled orders to the others. He told a group of them to fly down to the ground and help evacuate as many humans as possible from all the surrounding areas. The people that refused to leave would go into underground shelters and if they brought their pets, that was totally fine. After all, some people need their companions. Gee needed more StormFliers to come help, but they were all busy. They were losing the battle. As more and more of their friends, sisters, brothers, and parents fell from the sky, the StormFliers' forces got weaker and weaker. Gee knew that it was time. The secret would be a secret no longer. He called out, "Fall back! Help is on the way! Fall back, now!" Some StormFliers gave him confused looks, but they all fell back anyways.
Everything, at least to them, looked bleak. Little did they know that their saving grace was on the way. A few hours passed, and their "saving grace" did not appear. All hope looked is if it was lost. But suddenly, the storm blew apart! In the exact center of the blast, the Queen flew! There were many gasps as the StormFliers looked at their queen. She was amazing, perfectly proportioned, her three pairs of wings beating in sync as she looked at her subjects with pride written clearly on her face. The weakest of her subjects were the first to bow when they were all on the ground. They only had one pair of wings, the wings were birds' wings, with about a fifteen to twenty-foot wingspan. The next to bow was the middle class, who had two pairs of wings, one pair birds' wings, the other dragons' wings. The Queen looked at her subjects and said to them, "You may rise." They rose. She said, "Help the injured, then fly home to your families, and in the morning, report for duty. You will be repairing homes and finding injured people."
