I love magic, I love fantasy lands, and I love dragons. So why not once again put them together in another book? Now, I am aware this might show some similarities to the show Merlin, but I was inspired by that and an extended write I wrote in school for my Creative Writing class. Now, I have not finished Merlin, but I know the basics of most of it. I know Merlin comes from a small town and has an incredible amount of magic, and that he moves to the capital where the King lives, and that he meets dragons (I've been so far that he meets the dragon under the castle, but he's still there as of when I stopped watching cause I was too busy). I also know (since this is a huge part of the show) that he's "friends" with Arthur, the Price. So, similar, but it'll be rather different, TRUST me.

Description:

After the death of his father because of a curse, sixteen-year-old bastard sorcerer Newt must leave his small town on the edge of his Kingdom to the Capital City, right next to the King's Palace. He goes there to live with his half-uncle Perqwen to work as a stableboy, and while he is reading and studying the journals left by his father, grandfather, and great grandfather, he meets the slightly arrogant, rather lonely Price Killian.

(Please note I use the word "bastard" with the medieval meaning in mind. It is a rather rude thing to call a person if his or her's parents weren't married)

Rating: light wearing, some inappropriate/sexual actions/words, blood and death, and use of medieval weapons
