(I think this is the synopsis/opening passage)

I did not anticipate my villains leaping off my paper.

I wrote a science fiction short story for school. To be honest, I've never been into writing much, but this was a really cool story, if I may say so myself.

Did not consider the possibility that I might be dealing with it in real life.

So here's the thing:

- Robot apocalypse
- Finds a (preferably male) friend
- Fights off robots together
- Robots are after the leading monarch
- Robots leave her and anyone with her alone for a while
- One of them eventually turns on her
- Magic shield
- Finds spell to make things stay on paper
- Happy happy happy
