Planning

"So, I think we should wait here for them," Virgil reasoned, "They must not have wanted to wake us, and are planning to come back with food, water, and a place where we could be safe at night," Virgil mumbled to the ground, pacing back and forth on the sand. "We should probably just stay here and wait, then we don't have to look for them while they are looking for us," Virgil stated, trying to be rational.

"That's ridiculous!" Roman exclaimed dramatically, "We can't just sit here and wait! If they were gone for this long they are probably lost! We must recuse them!" Roman said, pulling out his sword and marching towards the jungle's border. "No!" Virgil cried, "I'm staying here! You can die alone!" "What?! I'm not going to die! You're being ridiculous!" Roman huffed, feeling slightly offended that Virgil didn't trust him. "I'm being ridiculous? No, You're the one who's suggesting we get lost in the wilderness looking for people who plan on returning!" Virgil yelled back at Roman, for he was already beginning to walk in the direction of the thick supply of trees.

"Well if you think that we'll get lost in the forest then why wouldn't Patton?" Roman asked, throwing his hands up in frustration. "Because Logan's with him. He could probably take Patton through three miles of this forest, jungle thing and be able to remember every turn needed to head back," Virgil stated as if it was obvious.

Roman laughed bitterly, "Oh yes of course! Because it's always Logan! 'Logan this.' 'Logan that.' Logan, Logan, Logan. God, why don't you just marry him?" Roman asked angrily, face getting red.

"Umm, I would prefer not to. No offence, Virgil," Logan stated, appearing through the trees with Patton, both of their arms full of leaves, twigs, and sharp looking rocks. "None was taken," Virgil shrugged, "Rather not marry you either."

"Well, how about you help us build a fire instead then, kiddo?" Patton asked, dropping his items in a pile on the sand. "I don't really trust myself with fire, could I try something else?" Virgil asked, picking up a rock and twig, looking at each item and thinking, How could this be useful? You could help me try and find some coconuts, there are bound to be some somewhere," Logan offered, looking around the island in search of the right kind of tree. "I suppose I could try that, but I don't really trust Patton with fire either," Virgil said, turning his head to look at Patton with a slightly worried expression.

Patton laughed, "I'll be fine kiddo! I've got Roman here to help me!" "That doesn't really help," Virgil mumbled, looking between the two of them. "Would you rather me stay here with Patton and you and Roman look for some food?" Logan asked. "I dunno, depends if Roman's up for it," Virgil replied with a shrug. "Fine, whatever," Roman stated, taking out his sword once again.

"Ok then, see you in a little bit kiddos!" Patton called cheerfully. "Hopefully" Virgil mumbled angrily, crossing his arms. "What are you so mad about, hot topic?" Roman asked, chopping through branches the best he could with his dulling sword. "I don't know, maybe being trapped on an island, not knowing if we'll ever leave, being scared that something's going to jump out at us at any minute-" "Ok, I get it," Roman sighed.

"Whatever, let's just hope for the best," Virgil mumbled, trying very hard to stop replaying everything one-by-one as they went along, praying for a chance to survive.

(I suck at ending things but I am far too exhausted to care right now. I can barely keep my eyes open and it's not even midnight yet? Byeeeeeeeeee!)
