It feels like it was just yesterday when Momo met Todoroki under the bus stop and had a journey together under the brutal rain.

Oh wait, it was just yesterday.

They managed to make it back to the campus despite the harsh weather attacking them with no mercy. When she arrived back, they were only able to reach the school building instead of the dorms due to the weather.

Momo panted heavily after having a literal marathon with Todoroki under the rain with an unsteady umbrella. In the end, Momo laughed it off, which somehow made Todoroki relieved.

They stood inside the building in silence. The frigid air was slowly entering the area and clinging to their skin. The blue towel Todoroki used to dry off was now hanging on Momo's neck. He must have gave it to her.

Momo observed the brutal rain beyond the glass panes before her. Her dusky orbs trace back to the building, hoping to see someone else's prescence.

No one. The teachers could still be working and collecting their files and what not, but Momo overheard they were out to get some drinks, September apparently for is a lucky month for the teachers. The students could be sheltering from the rain in the dorms right now, so obviously the chances of the upbringing of a student is slim.

Momo sighed softly as she glanced towards Todoroki. "What do we do now?" She asked, turning her head back to the view of the dull weather. Todoroki softly sighed. He glanced back at her, "We should just wait for the rain to end by the staircase." He stated.

Momo was slightly, just slightly, caught off guard by this. She then simply agreed.

The walk to the staircase was a mixture of small conversations and the sound of rain. She was able to feel a lot comfortable around him, and he seemed too. It was overall a very comfy experience at the staircase. Just talking about things they wished they spoke about before the period of distance began. The rain continued to brutally fall, but that didn't destroy their moment at all.

...

"That's pretty strange."

"Hah, I know. Maru wouldn't have want that." Momo replied to his comment regarding her topic involving the next chapter of her novel.

"I'm surprised you still remember all of the characters honestly, I'm flattered." She chuckled, resting her chin on her palms.

The two were sitting by the staircase, side by side, as the rain poured down. It has been about 30 minutes ever since their arrival in the building, and no one's prescence has been brought up to help them get back to the dorms. No one at all.

Todoroki glanced at her briefly before doing the same position. "It was a good book after all. But I never got to continue it after .."

Momo glanced at him at his sudden silence. "After what?"

Todoroki softly hummed. "After that sudden silence that kind of happened."

Momo was able to control herself from getting off guard this time. This guy's words can really make her nervous due to his boldness. It scares her sometimes. Actually, maybe all the time.

Luckily, she was able to handle the situation calmly. Instead of an awkward silence taking place, she chuckles and lets the conversation flow.

"Yeah. I apologize I wasn't able to talk to you properly for the past weeks." Momo said, her head slightly falling together with her little smile due to her guilt. Despite the calm aura she's displaying, she's secretly hiding a very tense Momo.

Oddly, she's been always getting nervous around him just because of his bold phrases.

Todoroki sighed, "I'm sorry too. I keep noticing you keep getting freaked out by the things I say." He said, looking away from her.

Momo's eyes lift up from the ground and on to him. All she saw was his rose colored hair and pretty, white shade too. His facial features were hidden for he looked away.

Momo simply smiled, and focused back on the ground. "It's alright," She said softly, her voice blending with the sound of the rain. "I get nervous easily, if you didn't notice." She laughed.

Todorki hummed. "Sorry."

"Like I said, it's alright." She said with a gentle and comforting smile on.

To prevent such a topic to continue, she focused on the rain, which may turn into a typhoon sooner or later. She sighed, "I'm starting to dislike the rain," She stated.

Todoroki still doesn't look over to her. "Me too honestly," He finally looks back to her.

Momo chuckled. "I can see that," She said. "Mind if I ask why?"

Todoroki went silent for a while, pondering silently, perhaps. "I .. " He looked away. "I kind of just realized that rain causes sunsets to not appear, and I don't like that. I like sunsets, they remind me moments like this."

"Moments like this ..?"

Todoroki went silent. "Moments with you, I guess .."

Momo's lips wobbled and her face went all red, expectedly.

"Ah? R-Really?" She said, looking away immediatly to the other side with a strange smile. 'What is happening??' She thought, clearly troubled at the sudden change of atmosphere.

She doesn't notice Todoroki glancing over to her. He looked away once again, "I'm sorry," He said, softly. "I .. I said something weird again." A tint of light pink begins to form on Todoroki's cheeks.

Momo looked over to him, startled yet quite confused from his statement. Her eyebrows slightly tilted, "N-No! You don't need to apologize! It isn't neccessary at all! In fact, I'm-"

He looked over to her slowly, cutting her off. The boy revealed his pretty but widen with shock hetochromia eyes, his emerald orb shining and the other shimmering with curiousity. The tint of light pink shades below his eyes was visible, causing Momo to become off guard once again.

She slightly pounced back, "I-I .." She stuttered. He looked eager to listen to her reply, but it seems that the young maiden was disconnected from reality. She was obviously overwhelmed to see Todoroki 'blushing' but also being seen blushing.

Her lips wobbled and her eyebrows lowered. "I'm .. kind of happy you said that." She said slowly and softly, looking away immediatly right after.

".. Oh." Todoroki replied softly.

The sound of rain filled the area after that.
None of them said a word, but somehow, Momo was comfy. Was it a good sign? Probably. She still felt that sudden blossoming rush from that moment, but she sort of liked it. It felt nice in a weird way.

Waterdroplets rapidly hit the glass panes before them and clouds began to fill the sky once more. Thunder starts to strike. It was low in volume at first, but it was clear it was approaching the area, fast.

Thunder then striked, loud.

Momo gulped. She didn't flinch though (Is it considered flinching if Momo widened her eyes?). 'We can't leave .. the weather is getting worse.' She thought as she pushed her lips together. She turned her head slowly to the glass panes before her.

She sighed softly. She manages to collect herself once again. She still had the same goal in mind though, fixing the bond. Despite the weather, she'll continue to try and achieve it.

Thunder striked once again. Loud.

Electricity cuts off.

"Ah!" Momo gasped. Her head turns to different directions. Unexpectedly, she wasn't feeling fear, but rather alert. She directly looks over to Todoroki, who has now blended in the dark.

Suddenly, a spark of flame began to blaze in Todoroki's spot. The light began to shine over his face, causing him to be visible.

He turns over to Momo, "Are you alright?" He asks. Momo's was still quite overwhelmed by the sudden appearance of fire burning right on his palm, but still manage to collect herself to speak.

"Yeah." She said calmly. She took a look around, "The sky is getting darker, and the rain is just getting worse."

"Mhm." Todoroki responded, turning his body back to the window panes' direction to examine the scenary. "We really need to get back to the dorms, night is approaching fast." He stated as he got up. He puts his bag on, his hand still blazing with the flame, and walks down the stairs.

Momo does so too and catches up with him, and so began their journey around the school, their only source from a burning flame from Todoroki's hand.

Momo manage to whip out a flashlight from her quirk, and so now they had two sources of light. Yey.

Well, that didn't seem to make a difference sadly. Thunder is still striking with unbelivable strength and volume, and the darkness is lurking inside the area, fast.

Momo glances around the area. "We're just passing by abandoned rooms and some classrooms .." Said Momo, disappointment hinted in her tone. She looked over to him, "Where do you think we should go now?" She asked.

Todoroki turned over to her, still walking, "Does the music room sound good to you?" He responded. Momo's eyes suddenly began to brim with sparkles and joy. It felt comforting to hear it somehow, to return to that music room where Momo composed and played songs with him during the hazel sunsets. She was .. just happy. She smiled, "Yep."

Todoroki doesn't say anything but continue walking, but if Momo got the chance to see what emotion his eyes would be displaying, she would be quite overwhelmed by such an unexpected reaction. What emotion? Happiness.

Momo pressed the key right in the middle of the piano, Middle C. She couldn't help but smile from the simple sound of jist one key. "I'm surprised this piano is still in tune after so long." She said, examining the piano as she sat herself down.

They finally reached their destination, and settled down in a more comfy atmosphere. The thunder was still striking in unexpected timing, but, being the brave students they are, handled it well. The windows off the room displayed a cluster of dark clouds with sparks of lightning appearing from time to time in the sky.

Momo created three candle lights and offered to Todorki to light it, so he wouldn't have to keep burning his hand for the whole duration. One was by the window, another by the door, another by the piano. The flashlight was still turned on, but the light was simply shining on the ceiling, so the light would spread out.

Todoroki headed to the old student desk by the board and saw the stacked papers of scores and pieces. He looked through them. He remembered cleaning the place up with Momo back then, it was lovely, especially with the calm sunset atmosphere. He then found a certain paper that certainly caught his eyes. He scanned it several times, before a sudden blast of realization hit him.

'So it really was-'

His thoughts were then interrupted by the sudden sound of the piano playing. Momo gave spirited movement as she played, not too much, but not too little either. Her eyes were glued to her hands' movements together with the eyes she was playing.

The melody was pretty. It was a piece she composed with Todoroki, the only peice she composed with Todoroki. It was soft, Andante perhaps. She played with expression, using the sustain pedal several times, mostly for the whole piece, but played with the right timing.

He turned back to her and gazed at the sight. The piece was short, so it ended after he briefly looked pack. She ended with a satisfied smile, "I missed this a lot," She said, staring at the piano keys with a little smile, not noticing Todoroki staring at her.

She lifted her head to find him staring at her, with a strange, startled kind of expression. Her smile wobbled, "Uh, what do you think I should p-play next?" She asked, an embarrassed smile forming on her lips.

Thunder strikes once more, catching the two's attention. The rain was still pouring, and the sky was now full black. The cluster of clouds began to grow in size, and the thunder began to grow in volume. He looked back to her, "Something fitting for this weather." He said, looking back at like nothing happened.

Momo smiled, then began to play another pleasing melody. Todoroki's eyes begin to get lost at the sight of the swarm of clouds above the sky, leaning against the window panes, the raindrops hitting against it.

Todoroki may be enjoying the melody, and the rain just a little (He's beginning to dislike rain, remember?), his head was still remembering that certain name on that paper he saw.

After just letting his mind roam, Momo's piece ended. The sound of the weather burst through the area once the song ended, bestowing a rather calming silence.

"Todoroki, may I ask you something?" Momo suddenly says, her eyes now locked on the window panes. Todoroki turns over to her from the corner of the room, "Hm?"

Momo's head slightly fell downward, nervously, "What do you think of the class now?" She asked, hiding her features.

Todoroki's eyes unexpectedly widen at the sudden question. He turned away from her to face the panes. "What do you mean?"

Momo's head lifted from its original position, and her eyes were now locked back on the window panes, trying to avoid looking at Todoroki. "Well, you stated back then that they were, well, strangers .." She asked. "Has your perspective on them changed ever since?"

Todoroki pondered for a while.
".. Honestly," He began, "It did."

Momo's eyes widen, and her body shoots up slightly, startled at his reply. "I got kind of closer with them back at the birthday party, I consider them as comrades."

Momo smiled, eyes sparkling with relief. "Thank goodness." She sighed, adjusting her body to face the piano to begin playing.

"Why did you ask though?" Momo's hand then stopped before they made contact with the keys. She doesn't look at Todoroki, but instead keep her down, staring at the piano. "I .. was thinking you probably still see me as a stranger even after all that," She said, "I'm also worried you don't see the class together as comrades of yours despite everything w-we've all been through."

Momo then lets her hand rest on the piano, "I was worried your bond with the class would remain distant despite after all that." She softly chuckled. Todoroki doesn't reply.

Rain was all they could hear before she finally spoke. "I was also really worried about our bond .." She admitted softly, slightly hoping he didn't hear her.

Todoroki's eyes widen. His eyes glanced to Momo's direction, but she doesn't notice. It was strange for him to hear her say that. Even though it seemed like a Yaoyorozu thing to say, he was somehow flattered and flustered by it. A shade of pink invaded his cheeks. He kept his cool and position, "It's alright." He said, then lifted the back of his hand below his nose, hoping to cover such an embarrassing sight despite the fact he's already hidden.

"Ahh, we're running out of options .." Momo said, disappointment drenched in her tone.

They were currently sitting together by the piano, the storm disturbing the atmosphere. She pulled her sleeve up to reveal her wrist watch, "It's dinner time already .." She said, a sigh escaping her lips.

Todoroki observes her tired state. "We'll get our of here," He said, getting up, blowing out the candle's lights.

Before he could blow the last one, Momo stopped him. "A-Ah wait!" She exclaimed then rushed to him, getting the candle, her other hand grasping the flashlight. She observed it, before handing it over to him.

"Use this." She said, handing the candle inside the glass cup.

Todoroki was confused at the offer at first but got it anyway. "Why though?" He asked after examining it.

"I figured you would get tired always holding up your hand with the source of light." She said, a genuine smile on.

"It's alright though, I can handle it."

Momo smiled, playfully rolling her eyes. "Just keep it, I know you're sick of being the full source of light."

She then walked back to pack up.

He observed the candle in his hand. The wax was already melting inside, and the thread still had a bit more of itself. He observed it before a smile formed on his lips.

"Let's head out now," She said, exiting the area.

He stared at her before catching up.
