What she had just said rocked me. 

I can't partner with the Grim Reape- I mean Zion.

Zion scoffed at the news.

"You may be dismissed" she said.

"But remember. I'll be watching you".

Her eyes flashed. I could've sworn they turned black for a millisecond.

I left and I heard her talking.

I shrugged it off and sludged off to my connection. I had P.E.

We were playing dodge ball and John Michael threw the ball straight towards me.

Then it happened. Somebody crashed through one side of the gym and another figure with a black and purple suit.

The figure hit the ball that John Michael threw and it clonked me in the head.

I groaned.

"That still counts!" John Michael said.

The gym teacher ran into his office and hid under his table. Still sipping on his coffee.

Coward I thought. Everybody ran but I stayed put. Slowly backing away. Maddie ran towards me and pulled me back.

The figure with a cowl threw the super out the broken wall and started walking towards me.

I knew the super. His name was Phantom. He could turn invisible and was a superhuman. And to top that off he could fly.

He made me levitate in the air and dragged me along with him.

I threw a ball of energy the size of a volleyball and he was thrown back leaving me groaning on the floor

"Mars!!" I heard someone scream. It was disoriented so it sounded more like Zxars!

(Mars is his nickname /middle name)

I felt something wrap around me then fly me out.

I woke up in a bed. 

"What the". I questioned.

There was a loud creak and Phantom stepped into the room. The exposed part of his head was red from blood.

"You got powers kid" he said.

DUH I thought.

"How do  you know that." I said.

"I have my sources" he replied.

"You're a stalker" I replied.

"Your a super" he said.

What! is he taking me under his wing or something could I actually be a super.

"There's a new villain." he said.

"We call him Professor Malevolent" he said.

"Professor?" I questioned.

"We believe that he is building an army to wipe out all supers... including you.                                        So either you help and possibly die or just die." he said

What have I gotten myself into.

"I'm in" I said.

"But if I get some life threatening injury you will pay my hospital bills and do everything for me if I end up in some nursing home. He smiled. 

"Deal" he replied.

"Look for Ryton Caddey" he'll be sitting on the back of your math class english class and science class." he said.

"Why?" I questioned.

He stared at me and frowned. 

"Because that's me" he said. "Now, I'ma fly you back to school or at least try to, and you'll continue like nothing ever happened". "Understand" he said.

"Got it". I replied.

He lifted me and I was piggy backing him. 

He winced and grimaced but finnally got the job done.

Everyone was in shock. I heard a few gasps.

 Zion moaned loudly. "This close to having you gone" he said."Nice to see I'm appreciated" I said through gritted teeth.

"AXEL!" Maddie erupted followed by Caesar and a few other people.

They hugged me and people started pelting me with questions. 

"Give the man some space" Coach Killian said.

"School has been closed due to... events that have happened. Stay safe!" bing!   We all looked up for the message.

Yasss! I ran grabbed my backpack, and skipped the bus. If villains are after me to recruit me, I rather not be in some metal cage.

I ran home as fast as I could.

When I opened the door I saw somebody I hadn't seen before. 

"Hi Axel!" said who I guessed was Ryton.

"Hi Ryton." I replied.

My mother was grinning her head off.

"Ryton please make yourself feel at home" she said.

"You can go to my room" I said.

My mom pulled me aside.

"I thought Maddie was coming over" she said.

"Oh yeah." I said "She is" I said slowly. Planning my words carefully.

What's she gonna think about Ryton? What if she guesses he's a super?

" Bye! gotta go! Video games are waiting to be played!" I yelled while jumping up the stairs.

I jumped up them 2 stairs at a time but then remembered my tragic incident.

Okay it's not that tragic, but when I was 5, I hopped up the stairs, missed, and almost broke my shin.

Anyway I marched into my room.

"What are you doing here!" I yelled.

"How do you even know where I live!" I added.

"I'm a super" he said glaring.

He put up a thumbs up and Agent Steel appeared.

"Have you two been... stalking me?"

" Did you know that most people's door knobs are just fake metal" She said.

Her power was that she could turn into anything metal and she basically just had metal powers.

I sat down. 

"Why are you here" I said.

"To check on you. You never know what happens"

"What, are you gonna babysit me." "Hey you could even help me with my homework I said sarcastically.

I lit my finger up. I could still light up.

"Perfect  idea. Titanium you're up." he said.

I guessed that was her nickname.

I looked at them. Steel grinned.

I face palmed. 

"Do what you have to do" I said.

"You need a suit" Steel said. She was sizing me up.

"What are you a tailor" I said joking around. She grinned again biting her lip.

"You guys need to leave" I said.

"My friend Maddie is coming over."

"Okay" they said in unison.

They hopped out the window and left.

I lied on my bed looking up thinking.
