This story kind of just came to me when I wrote Sweet Little Birds. I hadn't expected Lance to really become a character at all, but as often happens, the characters had other ideas. Lance and Tallulah met in that hallway and the rest is history.

So what is my plan now? I will probably take a break from stories set in this universe for a little bit, while I focus on ONC (Open Novella Contest, a fun community event here on Wattpad). Then I will start to edit this story, as well as SLB, for querying, Wattys, or something (not quite sure yet what I will do).

But I am also planning more stories set in this universe eventually. I have an idea for an SLB sequel that I can't wait to write (it will be set right after the epilogue of this story basically, as Tyler and Robin graduate and move in together) and I also want to write a story focused on Des (if I can figure her out... she might just like fluffy animals and have little to no interest in romance). I could even write Ricky's love story I guess, or a short novella about how Tallulah's other brother Sam met his wife Gillian (during a LOTR marathon).

Some questions regarding this story that I would love to have reader responses to:

Did the story heat up too fast? Having a sex scene early on isn't something I usually write, but I felt that it worked for this story and these characters. Did it feel that way as a reader too?

Was there too much Tyler in the story? I kind of love writing him, but he has a tendency to take over scenes sometimes.

How did the character of Darren work? Because I struggled with how to write him as I didn't want to make him too despicable, but also not too likable. Hopefully, he was at least decently relatable.

I'd also love to know if there were any particular scenes that stuck out to you as good/memorable? It's good for me to know which parts I shouldn't mess with too much during revisions.
