Elizabeth and I immediately ran back up the stairs. Penny, Elizabeth maid. Stopped us by grabbing our arms.

"Misses, you have to run." Penny said.

I cocked a eyebrow.

"You're the gavanor daughters." She continued.

"I'm not!" I exclaimed pulling away to keep them busy for a second.

"You're his adoptive daughter." Hannah said with even more worry.

I nodded and ran with Elizabeth. We ended up in my room when we were cornered. I grabbed the heated pan from under my bed and dumped the coal on the tall one and hit te chubby one across the face with the pan. This gave Elizabeth and I more time to hide. We ran into the spear room. I pointed to a closet.

"Hide there." I demand.

Elizabeth nodded and ran into the closet. It was tight.

I grabbed the sharpest thing I could find, a pocket knife. I heard footsteps. As they got closer I felt a wave of fear come over me. I held on tight to the knife and ran into the closet with Elizabeth.

We soon heard the door open. 

"Hello, poppets." We heard someone say.

We looked though the peep hole the two pirates were walking around the room.

"We know where you are poppets." The chubby one said.

"Poppets." The tall one repeated.

"The gold calls to us." The chubby one continued. 

"Calls to us." The tall one repeated yet again.

I saw Elizabeth look at her necklace. We looked though the peep hole again. A eye was staring at us though the peep hole.

The closet doors flew open.

"Why hello, poppets." The chubby one said.

"PARLAY!" Elizabeth and I yelled together.

We had both been reading pirate books for ten years.

The two looked at each other and the chubby one growled.

"Par-Parlay means..." I started but couldn't finish.

"Parlay means you shall take us to the captain." Elizabeth said.

"Unharmed." I continued.

"We know what parlay means." Chubby said. "We know you from somewhere."

I realized he looked at me. I shook my head wildly.

Tall and Chubby, the two pirates looked at each other. Grabbed us and pulled us outside.

"Sympathy, Elizabeth!" I heard Will call as we were led to the dock.

We were lucky that we got swished together on a small life boat and not one without the other.
