“Awww, the amusement park is closed” Amaryllis groaned.

There was a notice there:

AMUSEMENT PARK TEMPORARILY CLOSED

This park was recently attacked by a group of pirates and half-destroyed the place. The reason for this attack is still unknown.

We will fix the amusement park as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.

“Unlucky you” Sage commented.

Amaryllis scowled at Sage.

“So, what are you planning now?” Sage asked Amaryllis who started to think.

“Hmm… Do you remember that big wall when we docked the boat?” Amaryllis questioned.

Even though Sage hates it when someone answers his questions with another question, he still answered, “Yes, I do”

“There were some trees up there and I think we passed a flight of stairs that might be leading towards it” Amaryllis calculated.

Sage sighed and said, “Fine”

Amaryllis flashed a bright smile and started walking back to the track with Sage on her head.

They reached the said stairs and started climbing it. There was this sign saying:

Capital Park

Amaryllis and Sage were standing in another park. There were some of the townspeople there. Most of them were having picnics or playing.

“Cool, it almost looks like the park at Rakuen Island!” Amaryllis exclaimed as a purple emperor butterfly landed on her finger.

Amaryllis walked around the park and was happy to see her favorite tree there. It was the sakura or cherry blossom tree. The sakura trees ranged from the colors pink-white.

“I wouldn’t wonder why you’re so close to cherry blossoms” Sage said to Amaryllis.

“Even when I was a kid, I already loved cherry blossoms. It’s just a coincidence, you know” Amaryllis replied, playing with a sakura flower.

“Whatever you say” Sage scratched his head using his paw.

Amaryllis sat under the nearest cherry blossom tree and decided to take a short nap.

Xxx Near the Giant Walls xxX

“It’s a good thing we found it” a voice chuckled.

“Yep, didn’t I tell you? If we destroy the place we’ll be able to find it easier”

“You’re absolutely right”

“What’s your problem there? You haven’t talked when we got here?”

“Someone’s here and he’s going to report this”

“What the hell are you talking about?”

“……….”

“Argh! Just get the supplies to our ship, Vlad! Bryce and Garett go with him!”

Vlad took three boxes and walked away with Bryce and Garett bringing all of their stuff.

“It’s about time I get rid of those useless people” Captain Texel told to the other two Captains. He had shaggy dark blue hair and black orbs in his eyes. Texel took his pistol out and shot at something. “No need to hide…” he smiled evilly.

A figure came out of the shadows as ran as fast as he can to avoid his scoop of news spoil.

Texel fired again at the camera boy and managed to make the bullet make a wound at the boy’s right leg, making him trip as the bullet buried itself on the wall.

The other two Captains unsheathed their swords and ran towards the boy.

“You won’t get back to your headquarters alive” Captain Nervad announced.

“Die!” Captain Vander shouted.

Just before the swords neared the camera boy at least an inch, a person jumped in front of him and the two captains were mysteriously blown away.

The camera boy was shocked. “It’s not one of the subordinates. It’s a…”

“What do you want you meddling brat?” Captain Vander yelled, wiping the blood trickling from his mouth with his fist.

“Let the kid leave” Amaryllis answered in a scary tone. A shadow covered her right eye revealing a cold and deadly serious eye.

“Who are you to order us?” Captain Texel barked at her.

Amaryllis stiffened up yet her facial expression didn’t change. “You wouldn’t like me to use force on you. After all, you shouldn’t even destroy the Amusement Park just to find the Silvestal Stone”

The three captains and their crew were shocked.

“Just return the Stone back to the people, let the kid go and I’ll leave you. Simple as that” Amaryllis commanded.

“As if” Captain Nervad scoffed.

Another gunshot was heard. This time before the bullet reached Amaryllis, it split into half and made a gust of wind making her hair flutter.

Captain Texel was shocked and confused yet his crew and him (except Vlad, Bryce and Garett), Captain Nervad and his crew, and Captain Vander and his crew charged at Amaryllis.

Amaryllis ran towards them and dodged. The next part was more interesting.

“What’s happening to them?” the boy asked to Sage who was watching intently.

“She’s using force” Sage bluntly answered.

“Force?” the boy mused to himself. “If she’s using force, how come I don’t see her attacking them? She’s simply dodging and after passing them, they collapse”

One by one the pirates collapsed as Amaryllis passed by. Cuts, scars and wounds were visible in almost every part of their body.

Amaryllis was walking towards the boy who was crawling backwards, his attention still on Amaryllis.

“Don’t move too much!” Amaryllis said to the boy who appeared next to him in a blink of an eye. “You’ll make the bleeding worsen”

She pulled out a weed and pressed it on the boy’s wound.

“What’s that?” the boy asked curiously.

“Yarrow” Amaryllis stated. “They can stop the bleeding” She lifted the weed to see the wound stopped spilling blood. “You okay now?”

“I’m fine” the boy replied.

“What’s your name?” Amaryllis asked.

“I’m Altair” the camera boy answered.

“Altair huh?” Amaryllis said while nodding. “Well, Altair nice to meet you I’m Amaryllis!”

Altair and Amaryllis shook their hands while Amaryllis saw Sage’s eyes yelling, “WHY DID YOU TELL HIM?”  Amaryllis returned an answer with her eyes saying, “It’s okay”

“Tell me Altair, don’t you have any weapons?” Amaryllis worriedly asked at the boy who shook his head.

“Well you better have Mister” Amaryllis spoke. “Reporting or taking pictures isn’t that easy. You’re supposed to be capturing the picture of the danger not the danger catching you! What’s with your captain, lieutenant, subordinates etc.? They’re supposed to be with you!”

“Well uh” Altair was speechless.

Amaryllis sighed and placed a hand on his shoulder, “Next time if they won’t go with you, ask for a weapon. Also, you need to learn on how to use it. Bringing a weapon without knowing how to use it is makes it more useless”

Altair nodded, “I’ll keep that in mind”

“You better go back to them. I’ll just stop the bombs Sage sensed on the ship over there. He said there were still some people over there” Amaryllis told him before he turned back and walk away.

“And Altair?” Amaryllis called for Altair’s attention again to face her. Amaryllis placed his hat back on its nest and said, “Be safe”

“Un!” {Okay) Altair replied and left.

Amaryllis gestured at Sage, “We better go there before the bombs explode”

YEHEY! Amaryllis defeated those pirates! Woo hoo! This is where our chapter ends. Wait for the next chapter where Amaryllis will save Vlad (love his name!), Bryce and Garett from the bomb that Captain Texel placed there before and a whole lot more of surprises. MWAHAHAHAHAHHA!

How did Amaryllis attack them without making a physical contact on the pirates? She just dodged them, right?
