"Oi what made you think of giving me that dream Mitsuki?" I addressed to my spirit friend.

"Eh? After all these years don't tell me you still don't know me?" Mitsuki barked at me. "I have psychic power and I have a receptive personality. I don't want to see you the only one who will carry the burden since I'm attached to you. I am also..."

"You like searching for opportunities to show your abilities. The problem is you easily get bored even though I keep telling you to stop. You also love being appreciated whenever you accomplished something" I told her.

I saw her lower her head in shame. "Thanks Mitsuki~san for warning me"

She shot her head back again and smiled again. "Anytime Amaryllis" 

 Mitsuki disappeared as I reached the town.  

"Amaryllis!"

I turned my head to see Vlad and Sage rushing towards me.

"What is i..." I didn't finish what I was saying since they pulled me inside a cafe.

"Ssh" Vlad hushed.

"Come on stop acting weird and tell me what's happening" I demanded.

"An admiral is coming you nitwick" Sage informed.

"Although it's strange you know. How did he know there were Supernovas in this island?" Vlad voiced his thoughts.

"Well maybe one of the fish tank people I annoyed contacted him" I said.

"NANI?!" they said in unison.

"What?" I asked.

"What do you mean what? We're dealing with admirals here Amaryllis" Vlad reminded me.

“Admiral? I think I heard that somewhere when I was fighting the Marines” I spoke.

Their jaws dropped at my sentence.

“Here’s your menu” the waitress named ‘Seijitsuna’ asked us. I smiled at her name for it means ‘sincere’.

“So he’s kinda hunting people like me?” I asked.

Vlad nodded.

*sigh* “It’s just my way of disciplining those fish tanks” I muttered and looked for something interesting to eat.

“Amaryllis” Mitsuki started calling out.

“What is it?” I answered although Vlad didn’t hear because there was some kind of barrier that only makes me the only one who can see and talk to her. Well Sage can see her too although he can’t decipher the soul’s language. That’s the reason why he…

Mitsuki didn’t reply by then.

I sub-consciously rose from my chair and darted next to the door blocking the entrance.

“Now sir, it’s not good to steal you know” I reprimanded him.

“Na-ni?” he stuttered.

“Just give that back to the lady” I told him.

“If I won’t?” he asked as if he was asking for a challenge after scanning my appearance.

“Die I guess”

His eyes widened.

“Come on, can’t you take a joke?” I asked him. “Just give it back”

He took out a flintlock gun and pointed at me.

“Never” he mouthed.

“Name your price. I’ll give my mermai, my friend’s treasures to you” I spoke and took out some white and black pearls, crystals and gems.

He stood there for a moment as I stared at his eyes.

“Hmm… Let’s see you have two kids and you steal for you three?” I spoke making him stare at me and slightly nod. He threw the bag back to the owner’s lap and lowered his head as shimmering water droplets fell to the floor.

“Your wife’s brother took all the money your wife worked for and you just let him do it” I said to him as if I knew him all too well. I teleported the both of us outside and sat on the bench.

“I keep telling him that she did it for our family but he was just too greedy. I lost her and I don’t want to see our children’s lives bad” he sighed.

I placed all of Marina’s treasures in a pouch and placed it on his lap.

“Take it” I told him.

“Eh?” he blurted out.

I crossed my arms behind my head and gazed at the sky. “Hey, there’s no harm when you want to help someone, well in my opinion”

“A-arigatou gozaimasu!” he bowed down which was kinda embarrassing.

“Cut that out will you? And you’re welcome” I stammered.

We parted ways as I went back inside the café.

“Amaryllis!” Sage called out, food was already placed on their table.

“Yo!” I waved my hand at him with a smile.

I slid back to my seat and started eating.

“This tastes delicious!” I smiled when I suddenly received another vision from Mitsuki and I passed out.

Vlad’sPOV

“Amaryllis!” Sage called Amaryllis.

“Yo!” she replied as she slid back to her seat and started eating.

“This tastes delicious!” I saw her smile when she suddenly stopped, stared at nothingness then passed out.

“Amaryllis!” I shot up as I shook her. Sh*t was the hell is happening? The girl, Seijitsuna ran to us and said that we should take Amaryllis to the infirmary she had in her café.

No time to be amused so I carried her as she led the way.

I placed Amaryllis on the bed when I glanced at Sage and said, “Does she do this often?”

Sage, I think he winced, he answered without looking at me. “Well a long time ago. This never happened after that until this day”

“Do you think the reason why she didn’t come back quickly was because she passed out somewhere?” I asked him.

“There’s a possibility” he responded. “She’s just lucky she woke up fast or else she got sold”

I just nodded in agreement.

“She’s stable now. I just think she needs some rest” Seijitsuna said.

“Arigatou Seijitsuna~san” I managed to smile at her as I saw her cheeks turn pink.

“No need to thank me. I really wanted to help” she faced east to hide her face. “And you can just call me Seiji. Well I’ll leave you guys, just call me when she wakes up” She headed straight to the door back to the café. “And…”

Sage and I looked at her again. “Can I talk to her after a few minutes when she wakes up?”

“No problem for me” I replied as I glanced at Sage who nodded as Seiji flashed a smile and left.

Amaryllis’ POV

I made my eyes open, shocked with another vision Mitsuki gave me.

“Amaryllis!” Vlad called out.

I was breathing hard, wait a sec, there wasn’t anything scary in my vision except for one part. Well to be honest, it wasn’t frightening. Just… shocking.

“Where am I?” The first question came out of my throat.

“There’s an infirmary in the back part of Seiji’s cafe” Sage replied. He had the ‘look’ on his face. The know-it-all, I sighed.

I didn’t I was shaking when Vlad spoke, “Bad dream again huh?”

The same line my brother asked me before the day when those pirates attacked them.

“Yes” I answered sub-consciously, remembering those moments.

I heard Vlad sigh as I felt him ruffle my hair.

“I’m sure it won’t repeat next time” he smiled at me.

I sent a smile back at him.

“Yes of course it won’t happen again since I’m sure there will be new and more horrifying visions you’ll get” my pessimistic side growled.

I just ignored that voice in my head.

“Amaryllis, tell me what happened in your dream” Vlad spoke all of a sudden.

At first I looked at Sage for permission and nodded.

“I heard this poem playing in my head:

Flapping and screeching sounds echoed in the dark caves

As sweet honey with dead bee larvae dripped from the ceiling

A parade of red roses joined the incoming waves

As a creature of scales gave me an uneasy feeling

A pair of glinting eyes stared, brown feathers dancing in the air

As a red ball suddenly bounced from somewhere

The flames and boomerang died out together

As something pink with blood had been recoveredI said. “There were images that passed for each line”

“So, what made you worried with this poem?” Sage asked.

What the hell? You don’t know about it! You haven’t seen i… *sigh*

“The part with somethingpinkwithbloodwas…” I stopped. Vlad and Sage nudged me to continue as I took another deep breath.

“Something pink looked like my fragmented Chinohana” I said to them.

“NANI?” their jaws must’ve fallen off.

I just nodded.

“Seiji~san, where is she?” I asked them. They were taken aback yet Vlad stood up and called her.

“Amaryllis” Sage dropped his voice.

I looked at him.

“When visions come, bad things happen right?”

Come on, isn’t that obvious? Do I need to turn into Shirley Lennox just to explain this simple ‘case’? Ah, Shirley Lennox. Every time I remember her, I wish I was able to see her when she was alive. *sigh*

I nodded at him when Vlad entered the room with Seiji as I greeted her with a smile. I gestured to make them leave and they did what they were told.

“So, my friend told me you wanted to talk to me” I told her.

“H-Hai” Seijitsuna said. “May I…”

She suddenly bowed down, my eyes widened when she said, “Amaryllis~san, please make me your apprentice!”
