Six months had passed, Jasmine and Rapunzel were loving life inside the Kingdom of Corona, and their coronation to officially become princesses had finally come. Both were really excited but also extremely nervous as well. 

Jasmine, Rapunzel and Eugene were outside the castle riding horses as they were being chased. "They're gaining on us." Jasmine said looking behind her. "There's more of them!" Rapunzel said. "Good. It'll keep things interesting." Eugene said as they tried to get away fro those chasing them. "Man, these guys are persistent." Eugene said. "So are we." Jasmine said. "We'll meet you at the wall." Rapunzel said. "Sounds like a challenge." Eugene said. "Think you can keep up?" Rapunzel asked. "Oh, it's not me you have to worry about." Eugene said to the two confusing them. "Uh-oh." Jasmine said seeing a guard behind her and Rapunzel. "They're your problem now." Eugene said and rode off. 

He looks behind him seeing guards behind him as well. "Oh, great." Eugene said. "Okay, Max, follow my lead Oh, log, log, log!" Eugene said jumping up avoiding the log as the caption of the guard followed him and one guard didn't make it. "Ooh, good thing the ground broke his fall." Eugene said and continue to ride off.

Meanwhile Jasmine and Rapunzel were trying to get away fro the guard following them when they heard squeaks. "Huh? - Whoa, bunny crossing! Careful Fidela, careful Belle, watch out, watch out." Jasmine said as they both avoided all the bunnies. "Cute little bunnies." Rapunzel said. As the guards' horse grunts and wasn't so lucky avoiding the bunnies. 

"You're not getting away this time!" The captain of the guards said as Rapunzel and Jasmine jumped out in front of him and rode off with Eugene. "Hiya!" They said as the captain's horse whinnies. "Sorry." Jasmine said. "We're almost there." Rapunzel said as the captain jumps out behind them following them. "Oh, come on!" Eugene said. "Whoo-hoo!" Jasmine said as the three jump over the river landing on the other side as the captain fell into the water. "Looking good, Cap." Eugene said.

Rapunzel and Jasmine climbed to the top of the wall and look at the view. "Pascal, Lillie, look at that view." Jasmine said happily. "Haha!"Eugene said standing on Max as he throws him off and Eugene lands on top of the wall. "Okay, okay, I know what you're thinking. Now, it may have seemed like you two won, but you gotta take into account that my hair is actually longer than yours now, so we gotta factor in wind resistance." Eugene said. "Hmm. Wow. Have you ever seen anything so beautiful?" Rapunzel asked.  "Yes. Yes, I have." Eugene said holding her hand as two two were about to kiss until the guards appeared. 

"The game's over, Your Highness's. The welcoming ceremony is about to begin." The captain of the guards said. "Well, I think we showed those guards who's boss. Now, what do you say we go make you an official princess?" Eugene said. "Oh, is that today?" Rapunzel asked. "Haha, very funny. Now come on, we better get you back to the castle. Ooh, maybe I can squeeze in a royal massage. Before my daily trim, of course." Eugene said climbing down the wall.

Pascal squeaks as Lillie meows. "I know, Lillie, Pascal. We'll get out there soon." Jasmine said.

"Ha. Race you back to the castle."Rapunzel said as she and Jasmine jump back onto Fidela and Belle.

Once back at the castle Cassandra took Jasmine and Rapunzel to attend to their duties.

This is life after happily ever after And it's all just as sweet as the stories say I feel wild, free, as light as can be And ready to explore With nothing at all standing in my way True, there are certain customs I have to follow 

"Curtsy." Cassandra said as they walk past people.

Several small obligations I can't avoid 

"Princess, the time." Cassandra said as she pulled the two away from a little girl.

A few rules, too well, more than a few Commitments by the score Aside from all that, though, I'm overjoyed 

"This way, Princess." Cassandra said and Jasmine and Rapunzel follow her.

And sure there are corsets and buckles and bows Plus all those names to recall 

"Jane? Right." Rapunzel asked.

"- Ethel." The maid said.

Still I can hardly complain, I suppose This is happily ever after, after all 

"That's enough. I'll take it from here." Cassandra said as the maid lefts. "How you holding up?" Cassandra asked. "Busy. But busy is good." Jasmine said. "I'm glad you think so, Raps, Jas, 'cause this welcoming ceremony is just the beginning. Tomorrow's the festival, followed by the royal banquet, and that's all before the actual coronation on Sunday." Cassandra said before looking at them.

"Oh, come on, really? Look, Rapunzel, Jasmine, I know this princess thing is new to you, but you've got to at least try to act the part." Cassandra said fixing their dresses. "Trust me, Cassandra, we know how important this is to our dad." Jasmine said looking at her.

"As you've requested, Your Majesty, we've doubled security on both the main gates and the south towers." the captain of the guard said.

"Good. We have guests from all over the world. I want them to know that they are safe." The said said as he walks to Rapunzel's room. "Everything for my two little girl's coronation weekend must be absolutely perfect." The king said opening the door.

"Hi, Dad." Jasmine and Rapunzel said as they hug their father.

And now that at last you are here in my arms I won't permit you to fall I must protect you From all the world's harms We'll live happily ever after, after all 

"Now, as princess, you are not only representing yourself and the family, but all of Corona." King Frederic said.

"Don't worry, Dad. We won't let you down." Rapunzel said.

"But while we're on the whole princess, coronation thingy, I mean, all these royal activities are great, but do you think we might be able to catch a little downtime soon?" Jasmine asked. "I know this is all new, but you'll adjust. After all, your friends seems to be getting on just fine." King Frederic said.

Meanwhile Sara was in her room getting ready. She looks in her mirror and she smiles softly.

Else where Eugene was getting ready. "Ooh-hoo-hoo, Helmut, my man, this hat ties the whole outfit together. Now, I know what you're all thinking." Eugene said. "Why is Eugene in such a good mood today? I mean, what gives?" He said.

Eugene: Now that we're living splendorly Our dreams fulfilled extendedly Why leave things open-endedly For Rapunzel and moi? Tonight I'll hand this rose to her Kneel down and then propose to her And give this ring I chose to her Nice. Life's gonna be like strawberry sherbet Once she is Mrs. Eugene Fitzherbert Okay, not great, but how about this? Once she is Princess Eugene Fitzherbert And what better day to propose to a princess than at her coronation?

"Okay, no pressure. Just introducing myself to the most important people in the world. Representing my mom, dad, and the entire kingdom. We got this." Rapunzel said as she and Jasmine look in the mirror.

Meanwhile in the sewers this were two people who were against the kingdom. "Lady Caine, what is it?" One asked. "Time to pay our respects to our beloved royals." Lady Caine said as she burns the poster.

Back at the castle everyone was outside. "We're good at making people feel welcome. This is completely doable ish." Rapunzel said.

"Your Highness, I present Dame Elizabeth Van Hoskins of Rochester." The coachmen said. "Get in here! So nice to meet you." Rapunzel said giving a bear hug. "Um, perhaps you should refrain from the bear hugs, sweetheart." King Frederic said. "Oh, no bear hugs. Gotcha. Sorry." Rapunzel said.

"I present Lieutenant Commander General James Rutherford-Carver III." The coachmen said

"Phew. That's kind of a mouthful. Is it okay if I call you Jimmy?" Rapunzel asked. "I'd prefer you didn't." He said. "Well, um Welcome all the same then."Jasmine said.

 "I present the Duchess of Quintonia." The coachmen said. "Wow, can I just say, I love your hair. We used to have really long hair too, but-" Rapunzel started to say but was interrupted.  "This is a handwoven coiffure weft from the finest silk and Vacuna fabrics. It designates high social status. You think you'd know that." The Duchess said. "Uh, still. Nice to meet you." Jasmine said. "Sadly not nice enough to wear shoes, I'm afraid." The Duchess said. Rapunzel look to their parents. "Sorry." She said

Later that night Eugene found Rapunzel by the water in a boat. "So, I think we learned something very valuable today. There's a time and place for bear hugs." Eugene said as they both chuckle. "Hey, are you okay?" Eugene asked. "Yeah, great. Why wouldn't I be?" Rapunzel said as she sighs. "It's just Eugene, is all this everything you dreamed it would be?" Rapunzel asked. "Rapunzel, you are my dream. So as long as you're with me, that answer's always gonna be yes. Why? Don't you feel the same way?" Eugene asked. "No Ye-Yes! I mean, of course I do! I love you with all my heart, Eugene." Rapunzel said. 

Eugene looks at her. "Look, I know this has got be weird. No one's expecting you to take it all in overnight. But believe me, I've been all around the world and it doesn't get any better than this. This castle, our friends, your family, each other. What else could you possibly want?" Eugene asked as Rapunzel smiled. "Nothing." Rapunzel said as they were about to kiss when Cassandra ruined the moment and Eugene fell into the water.

"Time to go!" Cassandra said. "How's that water feeling, Fitzherbert?" She asked. "Dark and icy. Just like you." Eugene said. "Come on, Rapunzel, it's time to head in. You don't want to be exhausted for tomorrow." Cassandra said. "Right! My morning off! Sorry!" Rapunzel said and kissed the top of Eugene's head. "Man, she scares me." Eugene said as they left.

the next day Jasmine and Rapunzel spent the day in town. but it wasn't what they expected so when they went back to the castle they sighed as Cassandra looks at them. "Let me guess. Big day on the town wasn't all you hoped it'd be?" Cassandra asked. "It was interesting." Jasmine said. "Uh huh, I bet." Cassandra said. "I just wish my dad would let me get out and see the real world." Rapunzel said. "You know, if you really wanted, I could get you in and out of here before anyone even knew that we were gone." Cassandra said. "Uh, you mean sneak us out?" Rapunzel asked. "Exactly. What you do when no one's looking is your business." Cassandra said.

There was then a knock on the door. "The royal banquet is ready to receive the princesses now." One of the maids said. "Cheer up, guys. Hey, maybe your dad got someone to chew your food for you." Cassandra said.

At a table a boy laughs throwing food at Eugene. "I'm in charge of the seating charts. One of the perks of the job." Cassandra said walking past Eugene as a little girl giggles.

Jasmine and Rapunzel sighed sadly as their father looks at them. "I don't understand why you are so upset, sweetheart. I said you could do whatever you wanted. That's exactly what you did." King Frederic said. "Hmm, you didn't say anything about a battalion tagging along." Jasmine said softly. "Why would I need to? You're royalty, making a public appearance." King Frederic said.

"- But, Dad" Rapunzel started to say as Eugene clears his throat. "Ladies and gentlemen, Dukes and Duchesses, Barons and Baronesses, Marquis and, you know, the female version of those, may I share a moment of history with you. Princess, would you join me up here?" Eugene asked taking Rapunzel's hand. "Tonight, we celebrate our love for the princesses. I, for one, can think of no better way to celebrate the love I have for this woman than this." Eugene said standing on one knew now much to the shock of everyone."Oh, Eugene! Wait. Did you drop something?" Rapunzel asked. "No. Rapunzel, from the moment I first met you and you knocked me out with that frying pan, I knew it was love. You're my light, you're my best friend and I want to be your partner in all things. I can't wait to laugh with you and share with you. I see us raising our children here, and our children's children, and celebrating banquets of our own in this very hall for many, many, many, many years to come. I want to ride our horses out to the Corona wall together each and every morning until we're both very, very old and gray. I love you, Rapunzel, and I want to spend the rest of our lives here together." Eugene said proposing to Rapunzel. "Here? In this castle forever?" Rapunzel asked. "I mean, unless you want to rent, but I hardly see how we're going to top this." Eugene said.

"And I want to spend the rest of my life with you here, and it doesn't get any better than this, this castle, Princesses need to be protected at all times." Rapunzel was hearing in her head.

"Rapunzel? Rapunzel?" Eugene asked looking at her as she sighs. "I've Wow! I love you, Eugene, but but I can't! Just not, not now. Um, I need some air." Rapunzel said running out the room as the guests gasp, murmur.

She had gone back to her room, Jasmine, Cassandra and Sara following her. "Oh, I feel horrible about Eugene. I do love him, and I wanna marry him someday but not like this! Ugh! I need to get out and clear my head without a fleet of guards tailing me." Rapunzel said.

"Say no more." Cassandra said showing Rapunzel and Jasmine her cabinet of weapons. "Whoa! Where's the war?" Jasmine asked. "Well, when your dad is captain of the guards, you tend to collect stuff." Cassandra said. "I have a feeling this is going to be fun." Sara said. "Pascal, I need you to stay here and make sure no one knows we're gone." Rapunzel said.

Later on Eugene went to go and talk to Rapunzel. "The princesses ladies-in-waiting made it expressly clear" Stan started to say. "Lady in wait What? You mean Cassandra and Sara? First off, calling Cassandra a "lady" anything, is being incredibly generous. Secondly, come on, Stan. It's me, your buddy, Eugene. Eugene the fiend. You know Rapunzel would want to talk to me if you let me in." Eugene said. "Sorry, Eugene, orders are orders." Stan said. "All right. Just doing your job. I respect that. You sure there's no way to let me in?" Eugene asked. He gave Stan something and was let in. "Rapunzel? Rapunzel? There you are, um Look, Rapunzel, I am sorry. I am sorry, I should never have put you on the spot like that. But I want you to know, I meant it. I want to marry you, I love you. It's okay, you're still upset, I understand. You're not ready to say it back yet. Totally cool." Eugene said laying on her bed. "Oh man, that is a good pillow! What is that, goose down? Some kind of down? Horse hair? Alpaca? Sorry, look I know there's still a ton of details we need to figure out and I may have jumped the gun a little. It's just that growing up poor and alone I got used to having nothing. But now with you, I finally have something, you know? We have something. Something that is amazing. And I guess tonight I was just trying to keep it that way. And I thought that's what you wanted too, but I guess I was wrong. Oh come on, say something." Eugene said only to find that Rapunzel was gone.

"Ooh! Fantastic. I just poured my heart out to a frog. Okay, where did she go? Pascal, you do realize that if the king finds out she's gone, we're all going to be in big trouble right?" Eugene said looking at Pascal and Lillie. 

Meanwhile outside the room Stan was talking with Pete. "I'm aware it's not protocol, Pete, I just happen to think it highlights my mustache." Stan said. "Hey, Stan, great look! I mean it really brings out the stache!" Eugene said leaving the room.

Meanwhile else where. "All right, you got us all here. What's this plan of yours?" Someone said. "Oh, it's not my plan, boys. It's Lady Caine's plan." The other guy said.

"Did he say Lady Caine?" The guy said. "See, 18 years ago the princess was taken from Corona, and it was because of her the king unfairly cracked down on all those he considered undesirable. Us." the guy said. "Yeah, so?" Someone said. "Gentleman, Lady Caine is promising not only to make you all rich, but is offering you the opportunity to exact revenge on the king and his precious little princess. So, who's in?" The guy said.

Back at the castle Jasmine, Rapunzel, Cassandra and Sara were heading to the secret passage. "Is that a secret passage?" Rapunzel asked excited. "It was before you announced it to the whole castle." Cassandra said before noting Rapunzel was gone.

Meanwhile Eugene was looking for Rapunzel and Jasmine seeing as she was missing too. "Rapunzel? Jasmine? Guys, are you in there?"Eugene asked as the king clears his. "Is who in there, Eugene?" He asked. "Huh? Uh, no one. This is just part of my nightly routine. You know? Yeah, checking the castle for intruders, keeping an eye on Rapunzel, like I promised." Eugene said. "Mm-hmm." King Frederic said. "Eugene Where is Rapunzel and Jasmine?" He asked. "Uh, ah in Rapunzel's room of course." Eugene said. "Good. I'd like to speak with them." King Frederic said.

"You can't! I mean, you can, obviously you can do whatever you want. You're the king! A very large, intimidating, beardy, yet clearly understanding, King. It's just, she's still upset and she said she needed time alone. I was only trying to respect that. But, like I said, you are the king, the very sweet and non-hostile king." Eugene said.

"Well, maybe they do need some time to themselves, but when you see them please tell them that I am looking for them." King Frederic said. "Sir, about the whole proposal earlier. That didn't go quite as I had hoped." Eugene said. "We'll discuss that later, son, much later." King Frederic said walking away. "Right, we both have bigger fish to fry." Eugene said running off.

Meanwhile Jasmine, Cassandra, Sara and Rapunzel left the secret passageway. "That was so fun!" Rapunzel said. "I'd like to take this opportunity to remind you that we're supposed to be sneaking out." Cassandra said. "Cass, I think you'll discover that I can be pretty sneaky when I need to" Rapunzel said as Cass pulled them all to a corner. "Nightly patrols. We can get by them if we time it right." Cass said.

"Wait, how did you know they were coming?" Jasmine asked. "I have eyes in the sky." Cass said as they heard an owl hotting. "That is amazing. You have your own owl. What's his name?" Rapunzel asked. "Owl." Cass said as Max and Bella came out of hiding. "Max! Bella!" Jasmine said. "Yeah, when they heard I was sneaking you out of here they insisted they come along. And between you and me, I think Max's got something for you know who." Cass said. "Hmm, it'll be our secret." Rapunzel said.

Back in the castle The king was with his wife and he sighed. "Oh honey, stop beating yourself up. Rapunzel and Jasmine just needs some space. Nobody said dealing with teenagers would be easy." Arianna said. "Teenager or not, Arianna, Rapunzel will be queen one day and Jasmine will be her second in command. I have to prepare them for that." Frederic said thinking of the time when both his daughters were taken from him as he closed the balcony door and locked it. "I just want to protect them."Frederic sighed softly.

Meanwhile with the others Jasmine and Rapunzel were exploring the outside. They loved being outside the castle walls.

"Just remember, no one can ever know I took you outside the walls of Corona."Cassandra and Sara said. "Don't worry! No one is going to find out. I Promise" Jasmine said as they tried to cross the bridge but it was breaking apart. "Whoa! Whoa, Max. All right, this looks dangerous. Can you can you stay here and watch Fidela and Belle for me?" Rapunzel said as the 4 girlss walk on the bridge. "So, what did you want to show us?" Rapunzel asked. "Believe me, it's better if you see it for yourself." Cassandra said.

"They're beautiful. What are they?" Rapunzel asked. "Don't know. They just kind of sprouted up here about a year ago. And watch this Uh, you might want to stand back for this one." Cassandra said as she grunts hitting her sword against the rocks as the sword broke. "Wow!" Jasmine whispered. "They're unbreakable. Want to know the weirdest part? This is where they found the miracle flowers that saved your mom." Cassandra said. "And us." Jasmine said as she and Rapunzel touched the rocks as a bright light appeared. 

After that more rocks started to show up as the four started running. "Wait! What is" Rapunzel started to say. "Get to the horses as fast as you can and don't look back, Rapunzel, Jasmine." Sara said and she and Cass tried to stop the rocks."Don't stop, Rapunzel, Jasmine. Keep going!" Cass said. 

As the two sister kept running their magic hair had grown back. "Um, Cassandra! Sara!" They said seeing their hair grew back. "Keep moving. We need to get Whoa! What? What happened?" Sara said. "I have no idea, but we'll have to deal with it later." Jasmine said

"Let's go!" Rapunzel said as they started running again until their hair got caught in the bridge as it fell apart. "Help! Cassandra! My hair!" Jasmine and Rapunzel said as Cass tried to help Max ended up saving them. "Whoa! Ahh! Cassandra!" Jasmine said as Fidela saved her. "Whoa! See? I told you I'd get you in and out without anyone knowing. Piece of cake." Cassandra said panting a bit. "Piece of cake? Uh, did you see the 70 feet of "my father's going to kill me," growing from our heads?" Rapunzel said.  "One problem at a time please." Cassandra said as they head back to the castle.

"We've got a problem. Because of the coronation, they've doubled security at the gates today." Sara said. "And there's no other way in?" Jasmine asked. "Sure, if you want to walk in the front door in broad daylight." Cassandra said. "Hmm, maybe we don't need the front door." Rapunzel said.

Max walks up to Pete and Stan snorts at them. "I told him it wasn't protocol, sir." Pete said. Max grunts and they leave.He went in the room and as Cass, Sara, Jasmine and Rapunzel climb through the window. "Okay, quick, hand me the scissors." Jasmine said.

"So what do we wanna do here? Maybe a bob? How about some layers?" Cassandra said. "Just cut it!" Jasmine said. "Uh-oh." Cass said trying to cut it but the scissors broke. "Uh-oh? Why uh-oh? There shouldn't be any uh-ohs." Rapunzel said as Cass showed her the scissors. "Uh-oh." Jasmine said. "Was your hair always this strong?" Cass asked. "What? No! Try again." Rapunzel said as they tried but they got the same results.

"We're gonna need a plan B. Cover your eyes." Sara said as she and Cass tried different ways to cut their hair. "Ha! Forget it. It's just like those stupid rocks. It's unbreakable." Cass said. "We can't forget it! Today is our coronation." Jasmine said as Eugene knocked on the door. "Hey, sunshine, are you in there?" Eugene said. "You can't let Eugene see you." Sara said. "What? Why?" Rapunzel asked. "He can't know anything about last night. I told you, Rapunzel, Jasmine. If it gets out that I took you outside Corona, we're done for." Cass said. "But I trust Eugene." Rapunzel said. "Well, I don't. My dad will have me taken off princess detail. We'll never see each other again." Cass said.

"Oh come on, we've been looking for you all night. Hey, are you okay in there? I can hear you, you know?" Eugene said as Jasmine and Rapunzel screamed. "Rapunzel! Jasmine! Rapunzel? Jasmine? Stand back! Are you ok Holy hair!" Eugene said after breaking down the door. "Surprise!" Rapunzel said nervously. "Whoa! Ooh, mama! Ha! Okay! Okay. This is new, I mean, no! Not new. Right? Because we've seen this, obviously. That whole magic thing is involved again. It was magic right? Actually, you know what? You don't need to tell me. I'm just going to go ahead and say your hair magically grew back. I'm not going to ask how. Obviously you don't want to tell me or else you wouldn't have to tried to hide it from me. So, I won't ask how it grew back, but tell me please, how did it grow back? Don't answer that. The important thing is you're okay. You're okay, right? Because as long as you're okay, I don't care what happened. But I mean, I care, obviously I care, but I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation. Where is the war? That you'll share when you're ready." Eugene said. "Thank you for understanding." Rapunzel said. "Oh, come one, really? I thought we trusted each other, Rapunzel." Eugene said.

"We do! I do, it's just Fine, fine, fine." Rapunzel said. "You know what? I can't make you tell me what happened, but obviously you're keeping something from me. But whatever it is, I just want you to know you should never feel like you have to hide anything from me. You don't hide things from the people you love. Ever." Eugene said. 

"Rapunzel, Jasmine, honey." Arianna said. "Hide your hair, woman! You gotta hid your hair." Eugene said to Jasmine and Rapunzel. "Rapunzel? Jasmine? May I come in, sweetheart?" Arianna asked. "You can't! We're brushing our teeth!" Jasmine said. "Oh, good. But I can still come in, can't I?" Arianna asked. "Believe me Mom, you do not want to. Morning breath. Wouldn't wanna expose you to that." Rapunzel said. "That's ah, very thoughtful of you. Um, Dad and I want you to join us on the terrace for breakfast." Arianna said. "Um, I don't know. There's a lot of stuff we have to do to get ready." Jasmine said. "Rapunzel, Jasmine, well, your father has something very important to share with you. He's he's been waiting all night." Arianna said. "Yeah, sure, um we'll will meet you there in a minute?" Rapunzel said.  "The coronation is in two hours! How am I suppose to cut this hair?" Rapunzel asked. "I might have an idea." Sara said.

Later on Jasmine and Rapunzel were with their parents. "So, Rapunzel, Jasmine, ready for the big day?" Arianna asked. "You bet! Already into the princess spirit. The bigger the wig, the better the princess, right? So Dad, Mom said you wanted to talk." Jasmine said.

"Yes Rapunzel, Jasmine, last night, your mother and I had a discussion." Frederic sighs. "I know that I'm not always able to separate the man from the king and separating the father from the king has proven even more difficult." He sighs again. "Sweetheart, I know this new life is hard to get used to, and I'm sure that sometimes you wish I would get out of your hair." Frederic said.

Rapunzel coughs. "Ooh, sorry. It's a little, um, dry out here. Anyone else dry?" Rapunzel said. Rapunzel, you are going to be queen someday. And Jasmine you are going to be her second in command. You're gonna be great rulers with a magnificent kingdom. But you know better than anyone else what a dangerous and evil place the world can be. And the barrier keeping us safe from that is sometimes more fragile than it appears. When that evil rears its ugly head it is my job to protect Corona from it. And one day, that will be your responsibility. And I must teach you how to carry it. But that is many, many years away.Until that burden is imposed on you, I'm asking that you trust me that I know how to keep danger as far away from you and this kingdom as is humanly possible. Do you understand? It was until last night that I realized that my methods may have at times seemed strict or unfair" Frederic said. "Does this mean we can have more time to ourselves without having half the royal guard over our shoulder?" Jasmine asked. "Well, this means I'm willing to reconsider those methods. But I make no promises." Frederic said. "I can work with that. Well, we should go. We have a lot of princessing up to do." Jasmine said as she and Rapunzel left. Jasmine and Rapunzel chuckles as they leave. "You're right, Arianna. Teenagers are a whole new frontier." Frederic said.

"How are ya?" Eugene said as he was whistling "Ode to Joy". "Oh, come on! What is going on with Rapunzel and Jasmine? I mean, is it something I did?" He asked. "Probably." Cass said. "And since when did they start keeping secrets from me?" Eugene asked. "Hey, Fitzherbert, I need to get this done before the coronation, so do you mind throwing your pity party someplace else?" Cass said. "Look, Cassandra, I know you don't like me for Rapunzel." Eugene said. "Oh, that's not true. I don't like you for anyone." Cass said. "I just want what's best for them" Eugene said. "You don't say!"Cass said. "Of course! I want her to feel safe. I want her to be taken care of and I want her to be happy here." Eugene said. "Funny, you seem to have a pretty good handle on the things you want." Cass said as she left. Eugene looks at Sara, "Sara please... your my best friend you always told me everything" Eugene said. "I'm sorry Eugene... I can't tell you" Sara said as she left, "Oh, don't you start." Eugene said said looking at Pascal.

Meanwhile Jasmine was with Rapunzel in her room when Arianna knocked on the door. "Hi, honey." Arianna said. "Oh, hi Mom." Rapunzel said.

"You left so quickly after breakfast I I didn't have a chance to give this to you. I know it's a little early for a coronation gift but I thought you might like to see it now." Arianna said as Jasmine oped the box to find 3 journals inside. "18th of July We embarked on a safari to the most remote plains of the third continent. 21st of May Had to take shelter in a hidden cave to escape the fury of a violent storm. 12th of April Helped villagers rebuild their war torn homes. Mom, is this yours? Did you actually do all this?" Rapunzel asked. They looked at the other two journals to see that they were filled with blank pages. "Rapunzel, before I met your father, I was so much like you. I had no idea what I was supposed to have in this world. So I went out and found my own way. You're father is right about one thing, You will be rulers someday, but only you get to decide what kind of rulers you'll be. And no one can tell you the best way to make that decision." Arianna said. "But how can we if Wait - are you suggesting that we should" Jasmine started to say. "- Honey find a way to fill those pages. I only ask that you be safe, be smart, and above all be true to yourself." Arianna said as Rapunzel read something on the back of the journal. "Plus est en vous?" Rapunzel asked. "Plus est en vous. It means, "There is more in you." Arianna said.

Later on it was almost time for Jasmine and Rapunzel to be crown princesses. " This would have been so much easier with the other girls helping, but they're such gossips, half the kingdom would know about your hair by now." Cass said. "Are you sure you can't see it?" Jasmine asked. "Positive" Sara said. "Are you sure you can pull this off?" Cass asked as they took a peak in the door. "We have to, Cassandra." Rapunzel said. "Just be careful you don't trip on this." Cass said. "It's not the dress I'm worried about. How do people walk in these things? Whoa!" Rapunzel said as Cass sighs. "Just relax. This is going to be fine." Cass said.

Elsewhere with Lady Caine and her men. "I can't wait any longer." Someone said. "This better work, Pocket." Someone else said. "Don't you worry, boys. Lady Caine will not disappoint." The one know known as Pocket said.

Back with the girls Rapunzel and Jasmine started to walk down the aisle, Rapunzel having some trouble.  "Whoa! Whoa! Oh, whoa!" Rapunzel said. "How embarrassing for her. This is going to take forever." Someone said as she left going towards the dungeon.

"Hello? Can anyone help me? Silly me, I must've taken a wrong turn somewhere." She said. "I'll be glad to help you, madam." The guard said. "Oh, you're too kind!" She said knocking the guard out. :Hey, Madam Poppycock? The party's upstairs." Someone said before hitting her head against the bars. "Meet Lady Caine." Pocket said. "You're a lot stronger than you look." The guy said. "I'm a lot of things. Let the show begin." Lady Caine said. "I'm gonna need you to step back into that cell, pronto." The guard said. "That there is a nice suit." The tall guy said.

Back upstairs the ceremony had began. "The wearer of this crown is a shining example of the promise that is Corona, an ambassador of goodwill to those visiting from afar, and an inspiration to those fortunate enough to live within her borders. But above all, the chief responsibility of the crown is to keep the people of Corona safe from dangers, near and far. And their are many. This mandate is not to be taken - lightly." The crowner said as something was going on. "- Go find Max." Cass said to Pascal. "There will come a day when the walls that surround Corona are threatened by malfeasance. A day"The crowner started to say but was interrupted. "- Attention, please!" Someone said. "- Lady Caine?" Eugene whispered as the guest started screaming. "Release my guests immediately." Frederic said. "What's the matter, Fred? Am I ruining your little girl's perfect day?" Lady Caine said. "The duchess?" Rapunzel said. "Oh honey, I am no duchess." Lady Caine said. "I don't understand." Jasmine said. "Of course you wouldn't, Rapunzel, Jasmine. But try to follow along. This is all your fault." Lady Caine said. "What?"  Rapunzel said. "You see, after your untimely disappearance, Your father locked up every criminal in the kingdom, including a simple petty thief. My father I saw him thrown into a cage and hauled off like some animal, never to be seen again. So, I thought I'd come back and return the favor." Lady Caine said as a carriage was backed into the room. "Load 'em up, boys." Lady Caine said as everyone was put inside. "Your turn, Your Majesty. Oh come now, you didn't think we'd leave our prized pig in the pen, did you?" Lady Caine said as Frederic was grabbed.  "Dad?"Rapunzel said. "Rapunzel, Jasmine, stay back." Frederic said. "- But" Jasmine started to say. "- No. There's nothing you can do. As your father and your king, I command you to stay put." Frederic said. 

Eugene the started to walk forward until a sword was pointed at him. "Don't be a hero, pretty boy." One of Lady Caine's men said. "Sorry, Dad we can't stay put." Jasmine said as she and Rapunzel took the wigs off revealing their hair. "Rapunzel! Jasmine!" Frederic said. "That's my girl!" Eugene said. "Let them go!" Jasmine said as Lady Caine chuckles. "It's amazing what you can hide under those wigs, isn't it, Princess. Come on, let's move out!" Lady Caine said as they started to say until Jasmine wraps her hair around the door and broke it. "Ugh, now you're just making me angry." Lady Caine said. "Good, because we're just getting started." Rapunzel said as everyone got off the carriage. "Get those people back here, now!" Lady Caine said. "Rapunzel, Jasmine, your hair!" Frederic said. "I know, we'll talk about it later. Please get somewhere safe and take care of Mom." Rapunzel said running off with Jasmine. "- Rapunzel! Jasmine!" Frederic said. "- That's my cue Yeah!" Eugene said knocked out the two fake guard and grabbing a sword. "Well, our last day on princess duty. Might as well go down fighting." Sara said looking at Cass.

"Leave them alone." Jasmine said using her hair to tie them up. "So, you sure you can handle yourself?" Eugene asked Cass. "Oh, I'll manage." Cass said before fighting the men. "Get that door open, now!" The captain told the guards. "Aw cute." Lady Caine said to Cass and Sara before fighting them until they fell but they got back up.

One of them men started to pull on Rapnzel's hair. "Rapunzel!" Frederic said in worry. Jasmine helps her sister by using her hair and sending a frying pan toward the guy knocking him out.Rapunzel then gave the pan to Eugene. "Thanks, blondie." Eugene said using the pan to fight and beats them. "Haha! Now this feels good." Eugene said.

Meanwhile Cass and Sara were still fighting Lady Caine when they got her to the ground. "Stay down!" Cass said. "You have no idea who you are dealing with." Lady Caine said. "Believe me, we've dealt with much worse." Jasmine said. "You think this is over? Ha! I promise you, I'll be back." Lady Caine said as the door broke down on her. "Oh Lady Caine. It's impolite to leave in the middle of a party." Eugene said. "You think you'd know that." Sara said.

Later that night Frederic was talking with Jasmine and Rapunzel about their hair. "So I'm trying to understand this. You two snuck out last night went beyond the walls of Corona, where you touched a mysterious rock, that somehow caused your hair to return?" Frederic asked. "Yes." Rapunzel said. "And you acted alone?" Frederic asked. "Look, I know you're angry, but can't you see? We're okay! We're more than okay, we-" Jasmine started to say. Rapunzel. Jasmine there's something I need to tell you. I love you. The night you were taken, a part of me died, the best part of me. For 18 and 14 long and agonizing years I swore that if somehow, someway, by some miracle the fates decided to show mercy and return you to me, I would never let anything happen to you again. And now that this has returned, the very reason you were snatched away from me in the first place, I'm afraid I'm left with no choice, sweetheart. As of tonight, I'm forced to exercise my martial right as king to forbid you from leaving the walls of this kingdom without my consent." Frederic said. "- Father!"Jasmine said. "- And know this. This is the last we will speak of mystical rocks or magic of any kind to anyone. Is that understood?" Frederic said. "There is so much more to us than you think." Rapunzel said and she and Jasmine ran out the room upset.

The two went back to there shared room and saw on their bay view window writing in their journals. There was a knock on the door. "Come in." Rapunzel said. "I believe somebody ordered room service?" Eugene said coming in with two cupcakes. "Eugene, how did you know?" Rapunzel asked. Jasmine had gotten up taking her cupcake and went to sit on her bed so Eugene could talk to Rapunzel. " Ah, I had a feeling. Look, I just wanted to clear some stuff up. I haven't had a chance to apologize for putting you on the spot with that proposal." Eugene said. "Well looking back, storming out of the room probably wasn't the best reaction. So I'm sorry." Rapunzel said. "No, don't apologize. Look I'll admit, I don't quite understand why you said "no. " But I promise to do everything I can until I do." Eugene said. "Thanks, Eugene. In the mean time, we'll stay right here and take things slowly. I miss this." Eugene said. "Hey, promise me one more thing." Rapunzel said. "Anything." Eugene said. "That you'll be patient with me." Rapunzel said. "Absolutely." Eugene said as they shared a quick kiss. "Good night, Rapunzel." Eugene said. "Good night, Eugene." Rapunzel said as he left the room.

Jasmine and Rapunzel: Back to life after happily ever after Stuck inside once again and we're gazing out true we're in here with those we hold dear Surrounded by their love And for some, that's more than enough No doubt But we got the wind in our hair And a fire within 'Cause there's something beginning we got a mystery to solve And excitement to spare That beautiful breeze blowing through we're ready to follow it who knows where And we'll get there, we swear With the wind in our hair 

Later on Jasmine and Rapunzel got ready for bed. "Good night Jasmine" Rapunzel said. "Night Rapunzel" Jasmine said as the two sister laid in their bed. Jasmine however wasn't able to sleep that night. She was worried she would never get to see Varian again. She hadn't seen him since she reunited with her family 6 months ago. 

Jasmine sits up and she looks at the heart shaped locket she wears. She opened it showing a picture of her and Varian. She sighs softly. "I miss you Varian... I promise one day soon we'll see each-other again" Jasmine said softly closing the locket and laying back in her bed finally falling asleep.
