"Where's your other half?" Steve questioned the two young adults sat in front of him.
"Huh?" Harley asked dumbly, tilting his head to the side. "Other half? I'm pretty sure I'm whole."
"There's four of you in your team, correct?"
A nod.
"And there's only two of you here?"
"Oh!" Harry exclaimed, perking up. "That's classified information, Mr. Popsicle."
"Just spit it out," Steve demanded, leaning over the table that divided him and the vigilantes. "I'm not playing this game with you."
"Games? I love games!" Harley squealed, clapping his hands together (which proved rather difficult with the handcuffs around his wrists). "What are we playing? Monopoly? Yahtzee? I love Yahtzee-"
"Shut up!" Steve roared, slamming his hands down on the table. "I'm going to say this once more, and once more only. Where is the rest of your team?"
"Dude, we can't tell you. What's the point of a hideout if we tell everyone who asks?" Harry interjected. "With all due respect Captain, I can't give you that information."
"Are you hiding something? Doing something illegal?" Wanda asked as she pushed herself off the wall. Although she was in favor of the spider people, she too wanted to know where they were staying.
"Our existence is illegal, so yes," Harley sassed. "We're not ratting them out."
"Fine then. Next question, Steve," Tony said, waving his hand.
Steve growled but backed off, returning to his poised position. He glanced down at a small notepad, rolling his eyes.
"How'd you get to the Amazon?" he questioned crossing his arms.
"See, now that's a question I can answer!" Harley squealed in delight. "Our leader made us this jet that-"
"Seriously dude?" Harry interjected, successfully cutting his teammate off. "Spilling all of our secrets now, are we?"
"Sorry bro," Harley said bashfully. Thank the gods his mask was on or else they would see his tomato colored face.
"Your leader made you a jet?" Tony asked, suddenly interested. "So they're good with technology?"
"He's great at it! Like he's so freaking smart dude!" Harley grinned. Harry rolled his eyes under his mask.
"Why can't you tell us about that jet?" Clint asked, suspicion lacing his voice. "Speaking of a damn jet, we didn't see one when we arrived, so where in the hell did you put it?"
"We have it on u-"
"Dude!" Harry nearly screamed, ready to break the bonds around his wrists just to hit his teammate over the head. "Stop talking already! You know he doesn't want anything getting out to the Avengers!"
"Why can't we tell them! It's just a jet," Harley whined.
The Avengers watched dumbstruck as the two young adults bickered back and forth. They sounded and acted like literal children, and the superheroes were concerned for their mental states.
"Because it's not our tech, it's his, so let him be the one to tell them!" Harry chastised.
Harley grumbled and slumped in his chair. He hated not getting his way.
"You just don't want to tell them because you think they'll kill your boyfriend!" he argued. Harry glared through his mask, the large white eyes narrowing with his stare.
"He's not my boyfriend," he defended. Harley scoffed.
"Yeah right! It's not like you two aren't loud as hell at night!" Harley replied. "If you're doing that with him then ask him out already!"
"Harley!" Harley roared, silencing his teammate. "Why can't you learn to shut your fucking mouth!"
Everyone was dead quiet as Harry scooted his chair away from "Harley," facing the wall. The only sound was his angered breathing—you could tell that his teammate hit a soft spot.
"I'm sorry..." Harley whispered, looking down. "I'm really sorry Harry."
Silence.
"You're right, I shouldn't have said anything," he continued. "It's not my place to tell you what to do with your romantic life."
"...you're forgiven," Harry said after a minute, scooting his chair back to its original place. He turned to look at his teammate. "But next time, I won't be so nice."

"Where are they?" Peter mumbled as he typed away on his laptop.
It had been three days since Harry and Harley's mission ended, and they hadn't shown up at the apartment yet. Peter and MJ luckily were off school for a miniature break for teacher conferences, so they had all the time in the world to find them.
"Pete! I found 'em!" MJ called from her bedroom.
Peter jolted out of his chair and rushed down the hallway, bursting into her room. MJ was sat in her bed, criss-cross, holding her laptop in her lap and a translucent hologram in her hand.
"Where are they?" the leader fretted, sitting down on the bed.
MJ grimaced, giving him the hologram. "Avengers Compound. Upstate New York," she replied.
"What?" Peter asked, his mouth going dry.
"They've been there for two days," MJ explained, zooming in on the bright red dots. "Their vitals are perfect, so I'm assuming their being taken care of. Other than that, that's the only information I've got."
"This can't be happening," Peter groaned, burying his face in his hands. "Obviously they want all of us, so it's either we try and break them out and get caught or give ourselves up."
"I think we both know which one we need to do."

"Are you ever going to untie us?" Harley complained as he and Harry were guided down the hallway and towards a conference room. "These handcuffs are really itchy."
"You're arms are covered in metal," Tony deadpanned, looking back at the hero. "You can't feel them."
Harley grumbled, defeated. Harry rolled his eyes and butted their shoulders together playfully.
"Not so tough now, huh?" he teased, smiling cheekily under his mask. Harley glared at his teammate.
"Shut up," he defended childishly.
"Mr. Popsicle! He's being mean to me!" Harry called out, stomping his feet.
"Do you two ever shut up?" Steve groaned.
"Depends on the day," Harley shrugged.
Clint guided the two masked superheroes into the conference room, sitting them down in adjacent chairs. The young adults talked quietly among themselves as the Avengers got situated.
"Good afternoon, Avengers."
Harry turned towards the door and nearly choked on his spit at the sight of Nick Fury in all his glory. The boy withered away as he walked past him, slouching in his chair.
"Afternoon, director," Bruce replied as Fury sat down.
"I thought you said you got them all?" Fury stated, casting a glance towards the vigilantes. "...yet I only see two."
"We caught them on a mission," Steve clarified. "We couldn't find the other two."
"Well duh! They weren't with us!" Harley said, causing everyone to look at him. "What?"
"Why weren't they with you? Aren't you a team?" Fury asked, sitting down in his chair.
"Well yeah we are! We wouldn't be called: "Team Spider" for no reason!" Harry stated,
rolling his eyes.
"Then why weren't they with you?"
"They had more important stuff to attend to," Harley countered, nodding his head. "Like, they had required shit to do."
"What kind of required stuff to do?" Natasha asked. Harry looked over at her, shrugging.
"Can't tell you," he replied. "It would give away too much."
"You're very persistent," Wanda said. She moved her hair over her shoulder, leaning back in the chair. "Why are you being so secretive?"
"One: you'll probably imprison us if we told you who we are and where we stay. Letter B: you could kill us. Number C: what's the point of a secret identity if you just give it out to anyone who asks?" Harley sassed.
"We're gonna be in for a long ride."
