"Peter Parker, seventeen years old, attends Midtown School of Science and Technology. Manages a small café owned by Stan Lee on the weekends. Has a four point zero GPA and is co-captain of his school's decathlon team."
"That's him all right," Natasha said after a few seconds, shaking her head. "His voice was so familiar. I've had to of ran into him on some occasion, yet I don't remember his face."
"His parents both died when he was little— was under the custody of his aunt and uncle until his uncle died when he was thirteen and his aunt committing suicide a few years later."
"Is he in the system?" Natasha asked.
"Legal guardian is his best friend Harley keener, eighteen years old. Legally adopted him once becoming an adult, which was a year and ten months ago."
"He's a pretty clean cut kid all right," Tony added, scrolling through some files. "Has only had two detentions in his life; one was for missing too many school days and another was for—oh lord."
"What? What is it?" Natasha butted in, peering over the billionaire's shoulder.
"His other detention was for going missing in D.C at the time of a decathalon meet. He was M.I.A for an entire day before showing up after his teammates encountered a horrific accident to which Spiderman saved them," Tony explained, squinting slightly to read the bright screen.
"Was Spiderman there when he showed up?" Natasha asked curiously.
"Nope. The spider kid was gone by the time everyone got out of the building, and that was when this Peter kid showed up."
Natasha smirked to herself; she was pretty sure she just found evidence.
"Thanks Tones. I appreciate your help," she said, patting her teammate on the shoulder.
Tony coughed awkwardly. "Um yeah, no problem?"

"So the money's been transferred, right?"
Harley nodded. "Yep; Conners doesn't suspect a damn thing."
"I feel like this is going to backfire," Peter sighed as he stared at the small spider crawling around on his hand. "They've got to know something's up by now. A supposed twenty-three year old usually doesn't have nine hundred grand to donate to an illegal cause."
"He has a point," MJ chimed in from her spot on the couch; she was sprawled over the cushions reading a book.
"We have a solid three hours before they try to extract the online deposit into actual money," Harry added. "We need to infiltrate the building now."
"I'm ready whenever you guys are," Harley said. "We need to make this exchange quick; if we can make it out of their with evidence and then pose as innocent tourists, the police with catch 'em in no time."
The trip to Oscorp wasn't long. In the short time it took to get there, the four vigilantes worked out a plan.
Harry and Peter would go in through the roof, much like how Peter and MJ entered Stark Tower those few weeks ago. MJ would roam the hallway to distract anyone from entering the room. Harley would stay outside and hack into the security systems to make sure they weren't seen.
So now Peter is crawling on his stomach threw a dusty air vent, thanking the gods for his filtration mask. His suit was covered in rat piss and it took every cell in his body to not gag at the god-awful smell. Harry was in a similar state, but he was actually gagging.
"I'm gonna vomit," Harry wheezed out, coughing haphazardly into his mask. "This is fucking disgusting."
"Can you hold out on that for a minute dude? We're almost there," Peter replied.
The young boy suddenly stopped after hovering over a vent. He peered through the plastic slates into an empty room, a filing cabinet catching his eye.
"Diamond, are we secure to go in?" Peter whispered through his comm, eyes dancing across the electronic screen in his mask.
"All clear; you have exactly ten minutes and counting before the system repairs itself," Harley answered in his ear.
"Going in, in three, two, one."
Peter lifted the vent, shoving it to the side. He dropped down into the room, the strongest scent of pumpkin spice he's ever smelled hitting him like a truck; he almost preferred the rat piss.
Harry dropped down quickly after, metal-covered hands dusting himself off. Since his metal-based suit couldn't soak in any liquids like Peter's spandex one, rat piss dripped down onto the floor, making him gag again.
"C'mon. We don't have a lot of time," Peter commanded, waving for his teammate to follow him.
He opened a filing cabinet as he collapsed to the floor, sifting hastily through the manila file folders. White labels taunted him as he searched for the right one, groaning when he couldn't find it.
"Five minutes guys, hurry up." Harley's voice was urgent.
"We're trying, okay?" Peter mumbled, glancing over at Harry; he was sorting through a stack of papers. "Nothing's where it's supposed to be, are you sure you sent us to the right room?"
"Positive, Spider-Man," Harley replied. "Four minutes."
Peter shut the filing cabinet and wandered over to a small desk, grabbing at a silver key placed in a pencil holder. He glanced around the room, a small gasp leaving his lips when he saw a safe with a hefty looking lock on it.
"There," he muttered, stumbling to the safe.
The key nearly slipped from his fidgeting fingers as he placed it in the lock, turning it to the right. A satisfying click sounded through the room, and Peter grinned. He slowly pulled the door open, his grin widening when he saw its contents.
"Items secured," Peter said into his comm, placing the files into his bag.
"Okay cool, now get your asses out of there; cameras come back on in two minutes."
"Harry, lets go," Peter said as he slung the bag into the vent system.
As he was climbing back up, he glanced at his teammate to see him sat in front of a file, staring down at it.
"Harry?"
"Peter... you're parents. This talks about your parents."
Peter's grip faltered and he fell to the floor, white eyes wide with confusion. "My parents?"
"One minute guys, what the hell are you doing?"
"Your parents worked for Oscorp. They created the spider that bit you," Harry read aloud. "Everything that's happened to you is their fucking fault."
"Thirty seconds."
Peter was frozen, still staring at the file clutched in his teammate's hands. His parents worked here? They're the reason he's like this?
"Twenty seconds. Get your asses out of there."
Harry tucked the file underneath his arm before hasitily pulling Peter to his feet. "We need to go."
"Ten seconds, what the fuck are you doing?"
Peter nodded numbly and crawled back into the vents, Harry following close behind. Just as the older boy replaced the vent cover the whir of camera's coming to life entered their ears, making them sigh.
"C'mon, we'll look at the file at home."
