Chapter 10- A Sign

We walked for what felt like hours.

"I'm hungry." Jerome complained.

"Biggums, your always hungry." Mitch said, rolling his eyes.

"No, I'm hungry too." Jason said.

We nodded and mumbled agreement.

"I think I hear water. We should follow it." Fluttershy said.

Well the sound led to a big river. We stopped and looked for food. I was walking along the river looking at the ground. Next thing I new, I hit a tree.

"OWEE!" I yelled.

Jason came running.

"What happened!?"

"Nothing, I just hit my head on this tree." I said calmly.

He nodded. I looked up at the tree seeing if it bore any fruit. It didn't have any fruit on it. It did, though, have something else.

"Jason, what does that say?" I pointed groove-like carvings on the tree.

Jason gasped.

"They were here." He whispered.

I looked harder. I could read it now.

'Sky waz here, Budder' is what it read. Adams handwriting.

"Jason...do you know what this means!?" I exclaimed.

"Yes, they are here too." He said.

"Good thing Adam is Adam right?" I said jokingly.

He smiled and nodded.

"Guys come over here!" I yelled.

Everyone trotted over.

"Look!" I said, and slapped my hoof against the tree.

Everyone's eyes lit up.

"We're so close!" I said.

Little did I know, there were more things to face than just monsters....DUN DUN DUUUUUUUN!!!
