TARA'S POV:

This is tiresome. I need to wake up long before the sun rises and get to sleep only after everyone does long after the sunsets with no break from work in between. Well,I am not in position to complain ,brother has been working all alone for all these years without complaining and here I am complaining so easily. Get it together Tara, you can do it. It's for your brother, you got to help him financially, you were the one who had been stubborn to leave home and get a maids job at the Duke's castle. Brother had asked you to work at the village but you had to take this job as it was paying hefty.

Suddenly my thoughts got interrupted with the shout of Julia, Head maid's favorite ,rushing to the head maid,must be for some buttering to escape some work. Continue Tara ,you need to keep the fire going so that the stew cooks well. I don't want young lady Charlotte's ball to have any fault or lacking,,she is a really sweet person unlike the rest of the novelty I have seen. I have never spoken to her but you need not speak to a person to know if they are kind at heart or not as actions speak louder than words.

AUTHOR'S POV:

Tara was peacefully continuing her task when the Head maid suddenly came and dragged her saying she needs to get into serving duty as one of the maid's on serving duty had gotten injured during marketing. The Head maid dragged her and with the help of other maids got her ready for serving duty. Tara was totally astounded to see her own reflection ,she looked totally different according to herself and everyone present there. She also got a few (cut it off )a lot of jealous stares and talks. She is not noticing anything as she was more concerned about the task being given to her......

TARA'S POV:

No no no...this can't happen. Not serving duty,anything but that. I can't. Why am I feeling like this. It feels like I might collapse here, I am unable to breathe, it feels suffocating and heart seems to be tearing my chest off. I suddenly heard Mary,she is trying to calm me down. She is asking something "hey,what happened, take deep breaths, calm down ,are you ok?".I replied that I cannot go there but she refused saying that I have no other option as the Head maid said so. There was no one else left in that room except Mary.

Everyone have left and Mary dragged me to the ballroom. No I don't want to go there.........
Do I have a choice..........
