Part 2
"Daemonem meis vocavi te, donec aliter ac munus exequar. Adiuro vos imperium meum daemonis sui ostendere dominabitur. Quendam Leroch."
In the pentacle the djinn Leroch appeared wielding his shadow scythe.
"Retrieve the Elven Stone."
"Seditio, sicut et ego*."
*'mutiny, i like that'*
"Shut it, demon, you have a task."
The djinn chuckled as it disappeared to attend to its task.

A week later the news spread that the Elven Stone had been stolen. Sorcerers sent demons to search for the Stone.
"Lycus, come." Mr. Fletcher said from his study.
Lycus stood from the couch and jogged to the study
"Yes, sir?"
"As you've probably heard, the Elven Stone has been stolen from the Sorcerer's Guild. I got a message from the Elders that they have chosen you and two other apprentices to quest to find the stone."
Lycus's face lit up, "Really sir."
"Yes, you will leave tomorrow. you will be given Imps to ride. You will also be given some money, just in case."
"Thank you sir." Lycus said running up the stairs
"Wait, take this," Mr. Fletcher said holding out a latched box, "My master gave that to me when I went on my first quest."
Lycus opened the latch on the box and lifted the cover. Inside the box was a wooden wand with runes carved into the wood along with other things.

*The wand*
"Thank you sir." Lycus said, beaming
"You may go now."
Lycus ran up the stairs to test out his new wand
Wands increased the strength of the spell a sorcerer was performing. Wands also made it easier to perform spells and control demons. Lycus pushed open the door to his room and grabbed a candle from the nightstand.
Lycus pointed the wand at the candle and said, "Imperium moventur."
As Lycus spoke the words the end of the wand lit up a brilliant neon blue, then a warm red and finally a smooth purple tone. The candle rose from its resting place on the bed, Lycus moved his wand up and the candle followed. Lycus moved his arm in a circle motion, again the candle repeated the motion. Lycus continued to experiment with the levitation spell for a few minutes then lay the candle back down and deactivated the spell. Lycus pointed the wand at the candle again and spoke the fire spell
"Ignis." The wand glowed a bright red and orange and the wick on the candle ignited in flame.
Lycus let the flame burn before using the extinguishing spell
"Extinctus."
As Lycus spoke the words, Lycus began to feel weary and his head started to hurt.
After a while his Lycus's headache subsided and he began to pack his bags for the quest.
