"This shield, with its mysterious light... It's made with a substance I have never seen before. It seems important, so I will... borrow it for a while." I thought to myself.

Jack's POV

I managed to turn the light back on and shone it around the area, trying to find out if it did anything. I turned it back off a few seconds later, realizing, nothing was happening.

I walked over to the tiny crack that I had come out of and shimmied my way through to the other side. I ran through the rocky cave that still had the fog on the floor once again. I crawled through the small hole I came in.

When I climbed out, I found the Markimoo, lying on the ground looking at me. It seemed overjoyed to see me.

I noticed that the shield I was holding was glowing. I brang it in front of me to get a closer look. The Markimoo jumped back, its eyes glowing different colours. 

"Hmm.." I said aloud

I turned on the light again and pointed it at a stone wall. To my surprise, a beam of red lightning shot out of the Markimoo's tail. I turned it off after a second to too. I stood there, taking in what just happened.

"Could that really happen because of the mirror?" I thought to myself.

"You fire lightning....from your TAIL?!?!" I said, "I had NO idea about that!!!"

I jumped onto the creature's leg and climbed up onto its back. I then carefully climbed up the back of its head and noticed there was a barrel in a small area just big enough to hold it. I jumped off and grabbed the edge of the ledge, then pulled myself up. I slowly made my way over to the barrel and grabbed the barrel. 

"Hhhup!" I chucked it down onto the ground for the Markimoo to eat.

I jumped onto the Markimoo but I slid off and fell face-first onto the hard, stone ground.

"Dude, you knocked me over! It's ok though!!" I giggled childishly. Surprisingly, I wasn't sore at all.
