Chapter One
-Date: August, 21st, 2015-
-Location: Nigeria, Abuja-
-Time: 8:30-
"We've got him in our sights", said James glancing up at a man as he passed by with plastic crates of fruits. James noticed the gentlemen had a gun. James eyed it trying to identify it.
"He's armed, Bretta Px4 Storm", added James walking into the crowd and followed the gentlemen.
"Good, don't loose him", said Anderson through his ear piece. Officially Anderson had the man in his sights watching through the red jeep window at the wheel.
"I have a shot", said Louis from his position on a roof. He had his sniper rifle prepped and extended. He turned the knob adjusting his scope. Marco was with him watching from the street cameras keeping an eye out of the law enforcement and not to mention the military soldiers who were rather frequent. Nigeria wasn't in the best of shape at the moment. Then again neither was Jamaica.
"No, don't take it. It's too busy out here. We don't want to attract attention", warned Anderson.
"Why? Are we just that good looking?", asked Louis.
"Shut up", snapped Anderson.
Lawrence chuckled on the other line sitting at a table drinking, "I see him now, he's taking a left and stopping at a booth", said Lawrence standing up and punched in his chair walking adjacent to the man keeping a valid distance in order to not arouse any suspicion.
"Jackson, Rollins", said Anderson.
"We see him", said Jackson with a stern look as he sat on the motor cycle beside Rollins. They watched the man as he bought a few spices and goods continuing on through the crowd. Rollins and Jackson nodded towards Lawrence and James. They were officially just waiting till the man got into a quieter secluded spot. They had been following him for the past few days.
It had been Anderson's decision to do this. Technically he had been ordered by M-I6 to do this. To hunt down and eliminate the rest of the players in the pool. Since.....
DeLacy was still incapable of doing it. She was still......after about four months. She was still unconscious. Still in a coma.
Jackson's mind wandered back. To the sirens.....
Jane May groaned from her seat behind Anderson and leaned back her head, "I'm bored, nothing's hap--",
---Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!---
Lawrence and James ducked upon instinct. Civilians turned their heads screaming. The man who they were following turned his head panicking and ran. Anderson turned around looking. He saw an unauthorized military vehicle make its way down.
"He's running damn it!", yelled Lawrence looking back as gun shots came again. They sounded repetitive and uncontrolled. Jackson and Rollins set on their helmets revving forward after the man.
"Bloody hell! Can't people be civilized?!", he hissed putting the jeep in reverse and pulled out from his unmarked parking spot turning the wheel and changed to forward drive drilling down the pedal going through the market. Jane May shrieked hitter the side of the door.
Anderson glanced at his side mirror seeing the car begin to follow them pointing and yelling. The men were dressed in a rugged nonchalant manner. Lawrence swerved as the bullets pelted against the bullet proof jeep. M-I6 had defiantly learned his lesson.
"Get in!", demanded Anderson to Lawrence and James through the fire.
"Relax boys, all covered", said Louis aiming towards the driver as the military jeep began to make its way down the markets. The men were laughing and cheering from the jeep.
"I hate local gangs", muttered Anderson under his breath.
Louis pulled the trigger shooting through the small gap of the window hitting the driver and the car turned hitting a stand. Louis was about to reload when a man pointed raising his automatic gun towards them. Louis snagged Marco, "Get down!", he yelled dropping onto his chest hearing the fire go off.
"Why does everything have to go south?!", hissed Anderson he drove off. "What about Louis and Marco?!", asked Jane May.
"We're fine sweet heart", said Louis smirking as he rushed down the side steps of the building jumping onto a tin roof and dove rolling in the sand. He propped up the back trunk shoved his gun in as Marco got into the passengers seat slamming the door shut.
"Go! Go! Go!", yelled Marco at Louis. Louis went forward but hit the breaks as the military car drove blocking their way.
"Guess we can't go that way", mumbled Marco under his breath as the bullets tickled and scratched the car.
"Shut up Marco", snapped Louis hitting it in reverse and went around the corner speeding through the sandy alley way.
Marco pulled out his pistol lowering the window and fired between the gaps of the alleyways at the truck which followed them.
"Why the hell is it that every time I'm with you, we get shot at!?", yelled Marco frustrated ducking. Louis heard the bullet hit his window and fell into his lap.
"Roll up the freaking window! It's bullet proof for a reason!", yelled Louis.
"Last time I was told that it-",
Louis swerved turning the corner as his window shattered.
Marco shrugged, "That happened", he replied.
"Anderson you gave me a rigged car!", yelled Louis.
"Not now Louis! I have my own problems!", yelled Anderson back at him glancing, he was being chased by local police.
"Not now?! Now is the perfect time to yell at you! I'm getting shot at and you told me this car was bullet proof!", yelled Louis back at him.
"Marco slap him for me", said Anderson.
Marco did swatting him upside the head. Louis glared at Marco, "Not funny", he said.
