Krystal's POV

"So you really don't remember anything?" Amber asked. We were sitting in my living room talking to Kai. And can you believe that he doesn't know about his own death.

I know crazy right..

"No. The last thing I remember is sitting on the bench, talking to Krystal before the game" he said. And I silently gulped.

I remember our conversation vividly.

FLASHBACK

I look over to see if the game started. When I noticed Kai sitting on the bench. With his head in his hands.

I frowned a little. Before walking over to him.

"Kai?" I called in a questioning tone. When Kai looked up at me, wincing a little.

"Ne?"

"Whats wrong? You look like your in pain" I said before sitting next to him on the cold steel.

"I am. I can't seem to get rid of this headache. I took stuff for it. But nothing's working" Kai moaned. And I felt bad.

Kai has been talking about this championship game for weeks now. And I know he wouldn't miss it for the world. But his safety comes first. So I suggested what I thought he should do anyway.

"Maybe you should sit this game out" I said before putting my hand on his back.

Kai lifted his head and looked at me with a disapproving face.

"I can't. You know how much work I put into practice for this game. Its not worth it" He said.

And even though I knew this would be his reaction. I started to grow angry with his stubborn ways.

"Your health isn't worth it? That's probably why you have such a bad headache. Your always practicing and never resting" I said sternly while looking at him.

"Yeah. Well I'll rest when I'm dead" Kai said with an attitude clearly in his tone. Before the coach blew the whistle.

Kai then kissed my cheek before he stood up. And ran onto the field without looking back.

END OF FLASHBACK

Thinking back on our last conversation. I never thought that Kai's sentence would end up being so literal.

"Krystal!?" Amber yelled. Making me jump from my thoughts.

"Are you listening?" Amber asked.

"Yeah" I said lying. Before tucking my hair behind my ear.

"Obviously not. Amber called you like seven times" Jackson said butting in. And I shot a glare his way.

"What were you thinking about?" Kai asked. And I looked towards him with wide eyes.

"Uh nothing. Its nothing" I said being fidgety.

"Sure. Anyway, I would like to ask you a few questions Kai. If that is your real name" Amber said.

"Ne it's my n-"

"Ha! We caught you. Jongin's your real name! Who are you and what have you done with the real Kai?" Jackson said interrigating him.

"I was going to say that it was my nickname" Kai said while looking at Jackson like he had four heads.

"Oh" Jackson mumbled.

"Favorite Food?" Amber asked.

"Chicken"

"Favorite Hobbies"

"Dancing and Football"

"What's the phrase that you lived by?" Amber asked.

"I'd rather bend than break" he said. And my breath hitched in my throat.

It is him..

"Not bad. Not bad" Amber said.

"Wait. I got one!" Jackson yelled before he scooted to the edge of the couch. So that he could be closer to Kai. Who was sitting across from all of us.

"Do you.... like to wear socks?" Jackson asked. And I rolled my eyes.

"I HATE socks" Kai said with a serious face. And the room suddenly got quiet.

"Well I'm sold! Its him" Amber said breaking the silence. While Jackson joined in.

I sat still with my hands in my lap. Thinking of the perfect and final question to ask him.

"What's so speacial about February 14th?" I asked.

"Its Valentines day. What do you mean? A lot of things could be special about that day" Amber said looking at me confusingly.

"Eww I don't think I want to listen to this" Jackson said thinking negatively.
I shushed the both of them. Before turning my attention back to Kai.

"February 14th was the day we first met. We were at the homecoming party with different dates. Until we found out that they were sleeping with each other. So we ditched them to hang out with one another." Kai said.

And I was breath taken. I wanted to crack a smile. But I couldn't. Some part of me wanted to test him more. Even though he answered some pretty personal questions already.

"March 1st" I said while trying to show no emotion on my face.

"Our first date"

"June 15th?"

"The first time I met your parents"

"August 29"

"The day we almost broke up"

Kai said flawlessly. I looked over at Amber and Jackson. While they had their mouth wide open.

"I can't even remember what I had for dinner last night" Jackson said. And Amber laughed.

"December 16th" I said with my voice going out. Knowing what happened on this day. As my eyes began to water.

Kai was quiet as he tried to think. While I sat back and watched him. I knew he wouldn't remember what happened. He just said so himself.

"I don't know.." he said slowly. And I sighed.

"That was the day you died" I mumbled. Kai looked at me with unrecognizable eyes. Before I stood up and walked out of the living room.

"Krystal wait" Amber called as I heard her walking behind me.

She then pulls my arm. Turning me around and stopping me in my tracks.

"Whats the problem. We found out what you wanted to know" Amber said. And I scoffed.

"But it still doesn't tell me how he's back. Amber, you were there at the funeral. And you know how I reacted when they lowered the casket into the ground. You can't just make that stuff it." I said while Amber nodded.

"I know. I know. But what are we going to do? Go to the grave and dig it up" Amber said before looking away from me.

I then looked at her with a wide smirk on my face. Amber noticed and shook her head.

"Oh no Krystal I was just joking" Amber said. But the smirk never left my face.

"Well I'm not. Here's the plan" I said before dishing out my ideas. And how I think we should go about this.

Amber reluctantly agreed to help me. And we decided to do the digging tommorow night.

"Be here at 8 pm" I said and she nodded.

"Okay fine. But if we get caught. I'm going to say that I'm a hostage" Amber said and I giggled.

"Deal"

"Come on Jackson!" Amber yelled. Before we saw Jackson's sleepy body walking out of the living room.

"Were you sleep?" I asked.

"Yeah I was. Until this police siren went off" Jackson said pointing to Amber. And she glared at him. While I laughed.

They left soon after. And when I shut the door back. I breathed heavily. Knowing I had to face Kai again.

I then forced my legs into the living room.

"Hey Kai I thin-"

I started to say before noticing that he was lightly snoring on the couch.

I found myself smiling before grabbing the blanket next to him and covering him with it.

I then left quickly. Not wanting to wake him. And ended up in my room. Sitting behind my door.

I brought my knees to my chest and paced myself.

I have no idea what's going on right now. But after tomorrow night, I'll have all my questions answered.

Well.... Maybe not all of them...
