Spinning around to the graceful music playing on my phone I hum to it. I just needed some relax time. This was very soothing to me. I swayed my hips back and forth to the song.

As I'm dancing to the music hands wrap around my waist and sways with me. I stop and look back and squeal.

"W-what are you doing?"

"I'm dancing with my love."

I shake him off and take a step away. I don't like when he's close to me. I get this feeling deep down in my stomach that he's just going to hit me, like he did before.

"I'm so sorry baby." He walks towards me and wraps his hands around my waist holding me close. "I have a meeting today with the pack so it will be a while." I nod my head towards him as he kisses my forehead and leaves.

I go to the couch and turn on some tv to watch. I haven't catched up on any of my shows. I put my feet up and start watching tv.

Alex's pov

As the pack meeting is going I'm confused. I'm the alpha and I'm not knowing anyone of this information coming from these pack members.

"This person will be returning soon. So what are we going to do?"

"Who are you talking about?" I was eager to know. "Sorry alpha I'm afraid I can't tell you. It's a surprise. I nod my head trusting my pack members.

"Matter of fact this person will be arriving shortly and we have not prepared the lady or even told her!"

"So what are we going to do about it?" A old elder asked and I was angry because I didn't know what was going on.

"Since you guys will not tell your own alpha anything I will be leaving this meeting." I take my stuff and leave. I walk down the hall to see Makayla on the couch watching tv.

"Mind if I join?" She hums for a second. "Yes I mind." I look at her in disbelief. Was she serious?

"I'm joking with you. You can join." I grin and slide on to the couch. I wasn't even watching what was on tv. I was staring at my gorgeous mate. Oh how beautiful she is.

I'll die for her. I wouldn't let a creature touch her fragile skin. I held her close as she softly chuckled at the show that was on.

I didn't even know she feel asleep when I looked over at her and she was sound a sleep. I yawn and decide to also get some sleep for at least thirty minutes.

I wake up to Makayla gone from my side. I looked over to my other side to see Makayla on the counter reaching for the pop tarts that are on the top shelf.

I stood up walking towards her and chuckled. "Need some help there?" She jumps and turns around. I reach over her and grab the chocolate chip poptarts.

I help her down off the counter and I put two in the toaster. We wait for a while and when we hear it pop she rushes over to it pulling hers out.

"Aw, aw it's hot!" She puts it on a napkin and starts to laugh. I take mine out and put mine on her napkin.

We eat some of our tarts but were suddenly interrupted by a knock on the door.

Makaylas pov

Someone suddenly knocks on the door and I stop eating. I walk over to the door with Alex behind me and I open the door.

"What-how?!" "It can't be!" "I thought you- what!" I didn't know what to say. Oh how the person in front of me looked the same. Alex was behind me and his mouth was opened also.

"How can-what?" "How are you alive?" He was just as confused as I was. I was shocked.
