Shiruba tugged at the rope tied around her neck.

She growled, "Let me go!"

A man just snickered and grabbed the back of her neck, dragging her to another science lab.

Oh, I forgot to tell you who she is.

Her name was Shiruba, and she was a shapeshifter. She was a wolf, with an interesting power. She could change into any animal she wanted.

The chains that looped on the rope only tightened. Her black and grey pelt bristled, and she curled her lip in defiance.

"Come on!" The man harshly yanked on the chains, Shiruba yelped in pain as they tightened around her neck.

The man dragged her up to this metal table, and smacked Shiruba across the muzzle. She whimpered and the man put a shot into her. The world spun, and her vision went black.

Shiruba awoke a while later, strapped up on a table in her cat form. She felt cold, and wanted to curl up in a ball and die.

Her blue eyes searched the room around her, looking intently for a way out.

Nothing.

A woman walked in. She held a tube with some green liquid in it.

The woman walked over to a table on the other side of the room, dropping something into the green stuff.

It began to bubble, and the woman placed a syringe into it, drinking up the liquid.

The woman began walking towards Shiruba, smiling slightly.

Shiruba began to struggle, attempting to get her paws loose from the metal clamps.

Chuckling to herself, the woman inserted the syringe, placing the green liquid into Shiruba's veins.

Gulping, Shiruba was put into a trance of terror and complete calmness.
