     The Malachite sector is where you go when you find yourself needing legal counsel. Whether it's buying a house or leaving a lover, the Malachite sector makes sure that the law is represented to the best of its ability. Sharp dressed men and women spend their days looking for loopholes and representing clients. Not to be confused with Ferrous, Malachite deals with the masses of the Capitol on a more intimate level. Legal counsel is highly sought after and those in Malachite pride themselves on being the best.

     Living in Malachite means being raised on the right hand of the law. It's growing up with legal textbooks as your teachers and courthouses for baby sitters. The men and women who live there are either sticklers for the rules, or clever enough not to get caught breaking them. They're known for their quick minds and vicious verbal attacks. You don't go into an argument with someone from Malachite unless you're properly equipped to handle the charts, powerpoints, and evidence they can whip out on a whim.

     There's a diverse job market for anyone living in Malachite. Attorneys are always in season, and there always seems to be a shortage of lawyers in the glamorous and dramatic world in the Capitol. For those of a more serious mindset, the path of a judge is always an available option.

Sector Center: Justice Building
In a sector where all things are straightforward, administrative work is done in the Capitol's own Justice Building. This grand facility is the exception to all other Sector Centers, and also the most powerful, dealing with legislative matters from all corners of the Capitol besides the concerns of Malachite itself. It's no surprise that the Justice Building acts as the headquarters of all Sector Centers—Guides report here for monthly meetings to deliver reports and discuss inter-sector affairs.

Sector Guide: Themis York
When this woman steps into a room, she does so with an aura of authority, stiff-backed and hard-faced. In her youth, she was loud and clearly defined her position in the courtroom with heated passion. Later, angered by unjust procedures in Malachite, she ran for office in order to bring a voice to courtroom improvement; anything she pushes for is done so with learned intuition, as she knows the law's limits, and how far to test those limits.
