January 5th 2014. A day that would live in infamy. The day the Creature awoke. To Alice Parker and her husband, this was just another day. Until night fell.

Night isn't something to fear. That is what parents tell their kids. But in reality, night is the most fear inducing thing imaginable. Darkness itself is nothing to be afraid, but the things of old lurking in it's embrace are to be feared. And the Parkers were about have the fear of night bonded to their very souls for all eternity.

Alice Parker awoke one night for no reason. The air was humid and heavy. She felt something was off, and unlike anyone else, she did not brush it off. Instead, she woke her husband and he immediately felt it too. There was a feeling that any movement beyond their bedroom would result in death. As Tim Parker reached for his gun, growls and sounds of eating were heard in their daughters' room. An ear piercing screen shattered the silence. Tim and Alice ran into the room, only to find their daughters huddle in fear near the wall. Their dog was dead in the floor, all of it flesh stripped off, only pink bones left. Tim's sorrow was interrupted by none other than the Creature itself. It appeared out of the shadow, and began stalking towards the girls.  Tim bravely placed himself in the way and prepared for it's attack. However, the Creature simply fled into the night, never to return.... To the Parkers' house.
