As we walked to the store I felt a chil.
"What's wrong Jeanine?" Bella asked.
"I don't know." I answered.
" it's is getting colder." Lindsay agreed.
"Hey! Look!" Sam pointed to grandpas store.
I ran to the store. "Gran-" the door opened.
Gilda, a cashier and a friend of grandpa's.
"Children.." she sniffled. "Where is Marco?"Bella said.
I looked at Gilda. Something was wrong. Very wrong.
"Gilda!" Yelled frew, another employee at the market.
"Kids... he is gone..."
"What?"
"That's outrageous!"
"What the heck?"

Gilda burst into tears.
"But..but..." I stuttered.
"Why? How? When?" Sam asked.
He looked just as concerned as I did.
I burst into tears.
"Aw! It's ok!" Lindsay hugged me.

Sam stared at the window.
" when did it happen?"
"Yesterday. We arrived and the door was open." Gilda answered.
I sniffed my tears. I stopped crying.
"Strange stuff have been have happening in town." Lindsay whispered.

"I have read a book about mysteries.
Someone went missing. And the detective searched for- yeah that's right- clues."
"So we look for clues!" I nodded my head.

"Kay!" Lindsay ran to aisle 5.
Bella walked to the cash registers.
And Sam walked to the frozen food aisle.
" where do I go?"
Aha! The medicine aisle.
"Ouch!" I fell to the floor.
I bumped into a blonde short haired lady.
"Who are you?" I asked. I never have seen her before.
"Oh! I'm Samantha! I am a new employee. The boss hired me two days ago."
"Yep that's true." Frew chirped.
"Oh. Ok! Sorry." I grunted.

As I walked to the medicine aisle, Samantha stoped me. " so, hey what's your-" " excuse me miss. I really need to-" "no! No! I want to talk! Please?!"
Samantha seemed really desperate.
" FINE! What do you want to talk about?"
" what's your name?" She asked.
" oh! Um, Jeanine."
I remembered a time, when grandpa told me: "you can trust everyone, here, Jeanine."

I saw that the janitor has finished cleaning the medicine isle.
" all clues would have been cleaned!"
I heard Samantha chuckle.

" EVERYONE! I FOUND A CLUE!" Lindsay yelled.
I heard Samantha gasp.
I ran to the aisle.
" Sam! Jeanine! Bella! Look! I found a clue!"
Lindsay was pointing at the floor.
And I saw what it was.
