Work

Mrs Hunter withdrew from the 'conversation' and headed to some of her other pupils. Probably the ones who didn't excel as much as the rest.

Minutes past and class was soon over. The class -all but Jane- stampeded out the room as if they were bulls. Quietly, Jane tip-toed out the class, trying not to alert a concern Mrs Hunter, only for a gentle hand to grab her shoulder. Jane flinched at the sudden contact. 'So much for sneaking out,' Jane turned and faced Meghan, acknowledging her presence.
"Where do you think your going?" The Hunter questioned rhetorically.
"Class?" Replied Jane to the question.
"Art was your last class," Meghan stated, her hand slowly edging toward Jane's arm.
"I have a tutor?" Now Jane was getting nervous, she only told Mrs Hunter about the bullies, not the cutting.
"With your grades, doubt it," Meghan fought back, again edging down to Jane's wrist, not at all realising what she was doing.
"I need to go." Jane persisted. This time it worked. Mrs Hunter realised she wasn't going to get anywhere, knowing Jane's stubborn nature.
"I'm letting you off this one time. And don't think this won't happen again. I will get to the bottom of this, even if head teacher Mr Stevens has to get into this," Meghan slightly threatened. 'But she promised' Jane thought as she walked out of the room, but before successfully coming out... She walked into the door.
Jane exited the school and headed to the nearby cafe joint, ' Cup For You'. Jane hated her job.
Firstly, she had a mean boss, he complained about this, whined about that, dropped that, lowered her wages to near nothing! Secondly, she had terrible colleges, they were lazy, and rarely did anything, and the ones who did work, always messed her up like sometimes they would; mess up the order, spill the leftover coffees and teas, everything was blamed on her, another thing that sucked about her work was all the people who taunted her got a bigger pay. It was as if they were payed to do that. 'They probably are, considering my luck' Jane thought as she headed into the staff entrance of the cafe.
She got changed into uniform and started working shifts. Today was considerably not as bad as usual. People weren't playing up, orders were served and breaks were taken. There was the often insult and complaint but over all, it wasn't bad.
