The Mission
Serena's POV:
"You got in trouble again? That's not fair!!! You are such a kiss up,"Janeve complains. "I'm not a kiss up, Janeve, I just get into trouble naturally,"I wink at her. "Agh! Go to hell!"She yells at me. I chuckle sinisterly in response. "We're already there, quite literally,"I tell her placing my hands on my hips. She rolls her eyes.
"So why do you think that your father has called upon you,"She tries to say in a creepy way but fails completely. I stifle a laugh as I spin around in the air.
Earth isn't my home at all but it feels so right to be here. Janeve lived here once... Until she died. Now she's just another one of my father's servants. That's all I think of her as though. Sometimes I talk to her though and it's not that bad.

Janeve is a fun loving, down to earth, trouble making, rule following, good girl (when it comes to my father of course). She has dark green hair and even darker green wings. She normally has a smile on her face and she loves to wear jeans and band t-shirts.
Anyways, as I fly I spread darkness everywhere. Storms begin to brew in the gloomy sky. This is my favorite type of weather and I'm embracing every moment of it.
My wings are made from the shadows of all those that my father has killed. It's kind of awesome really.
"I'm not sure but let me tell you that I'm not excited about it, he's probably just going to yell at me about how I'm a horrible daughter and such a disappointment,"I say mimicking my father while laughing. Janeve bites her lip nervously. "Oh come on, you can't be afraid of my father,"I say exasperated. "Well duh, he is the devil!"She looks at me worriedly. I roll my eyes. "So?"I ask not understanding why she's so terrified. "So! I don't want him to punish me to burn a live like most people do when they die and don't ask for God's forgiveness!"She yells at me. I hiss at her when she mentions God. "Sorry,"She mumbles.
"What are you two doing here?"A voice booms. "Oh those stupid angles thinking they're all tough and powerful, thinking that they can talk to me,"I say rolling my eyes at the floating angle in front of us. "Why hello there James,"I say with a sarcastic smile.

He's so bright! His teeth are perfect, his wings are a bright white, his hair, as white as snow, shines as it flows through the wind, his eyes are a light blue that seem to radiate a goody two shoes vibe, and he's literally glowing. Agh I hate this guy.
"Pests. What are you doing here?"He asks more thoroughly. "Don't get you're boxers all in a twist,"I say giving him a slight wedgy as I fly past him. Janeve just followed me silently. He looks at me uncomfortably moving away from us. "We're just passing through, on our way to visit good ole dad,"I smirk. He grumbles and crosses his arms. "Don't touch me like that again, evil one!"He yells at me. "Thank you for such a compliment but I have a name, and I know you know it. We see each other all the time... Come on you know,"I taunt him. I could hear Janeve giggling quietly. James huffs. "Let me give you a hint... It starts with an S,"I smile sinisterly. "I know who you are! But you don't deserve me to call you by your given name. Especially since the devil is the one has given you that name!"He shouts. I bust out laughing. "Am I supposed to be wounded by you not calling me by my name?"I laugh even more. "Oh it hurts, why?! Why must you be so mean?!! Please call me by my name,"I fake hurt, clenching my hand over my heart as I kneel in mid air. Fake tears roll down my cheeks. I look up into the sky. "Why?!"I ask throwing my hands up in exasperation then slamming them down on my thighs, hiding my face in them. I look up to see James trying not to laugh. He glares at me and I send him death glares as I stand straight up, smirking.
The wind from my wings send shivers down my spine. Man, I sure did make it cold out here.
Janeve coughs awkwardly behind us. I turn to look at her and she points to her wrist as if there was a watch there. Crap. "Well we got to go so hopefully I won't have to see you again. Bye!"I say cheerfully and before he could say anything I grab Janeve's wrist spinning around and flying up. Dark clouds of smoke surrounds us and we disappear.
A couple seconds later the smoke evaporates and I let go of Janeve's wrist. She stumbles forward and turns around angrily. I smirk and she starts screaming at me. "DO YOU KNOW HOW HOW PAINFUL THAT WAS!!! YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO SHADOW TRAVEL BUT I CAN'T!!! I'M NOT USE TO IT!!! IT SCARES ME!!"She keeps yelling at me but I just keep looking behind her trying to give her hints. But I won't tell her, I want to see how this plays out. "AND YOU GOT US IN TROUBLE WITH THE ANGLES GUARD!!!AND YOU TRIED TO TELL ME WHETHER I SHOULD BE SCARED OR NOT!!! WHAT KIND OF FRIEND ARE YOU?!"She shouts. "Are you done?"I ask still smirking. "I think,"She sighs. "As to what kind of friend I am, I'm not one. Especially now... Turn around,"I tell her. "But why?"She asks curiously. "Just do it,"I answer, smiling. She turns around and her whole face drops.
"WHY WERE YOU YELLING AT MY DAUGHTER?!"My father's voice bellows throughout the palace. "Um I, uh,"Janeve tries to say something but can't. "It seems to me that she's been doing exactly what I taught her. Getting in trouble, telling others what to do, and causing fear and pain,"He says seeming very proud. "Devil, I'm so sorry sir. Please forgive me,"She begs, kneeling to the floor. "That's for God to do, not me!"He scolds her. I wince at the mention of him. "But she has also done what you said so you don't need to punish her,"I step up as I talk to my father. "You can leave now,"I tell Janeve and she rushes away.
"You know what though... My daughter also doesn't follow in my steps,"He glares at me. "You're not aloud to stand up for others and you're supposed to fear me,"He says towering over me. I roll my eyes. "First of all, I don't want you to punish her because I want to be the one who deals with her. I think I could make her one of the best dark angles known. And second of all, I'm not supposed to fear anyone, I'm supposed to cause fear,"I say angrily. "I think I taught you too well,"He mumbles under his breath. I cross my arms and huff. "Did you just call me here to tell me how dishonorable I am or?"I ask raising an eyebrow.
"Father! The party has been ruined!!"My older sister yells running in. "Quiet! Can't you see that we're talking!!! I don't care about the stupid party!!! This is important!!!!!"Father bawled scaring my sister. I chuckle and she glares at me. "Jess, remember you're not supposed to be scared, you bring fear... Well maybe if you worked hard enough you could bring fear in a tiny handbag,"I remind my sister. "You know what, Serena,"She begins to say. "What?"I ask facing her, my eyes begin to shine a bright red. She cowards a little but stands tall again. When she finally got her courage to talk again she was interrupted by our father.
"CHILDREN!"Father yells. I smirk at her and turn back to our father. "Yes father,"She says turning her attention to him. "Yes father, thank you for saving me from my sister's wrath,"I mumble just loud enough for her to hear. She growls under her breath and I stand up straight and confidently as if I won a prize. In which I did since I got to leave me big sister speechless.
Jess is slightly smaller than me in height. She has light blue eyes with a little grey in them while I have dark, stormy grey eyes. She has light purple hair where as I have dark, brownish, black hair. She likes to dress like a hippie or hipster (either one) and I like to dress with tighter black clothes or comfy, relaxing clothes. Since Jess is more bubbly she gets to be the events planner. I, on the other hand, don't really have a job. I just run around causing trouble and making my father proud of course but that's just a bonus to causing trouble and ruining people's lives. Although Jess and I both look a like. Our facial features, long wavy hair, not to mention the Devils tails, and the stubbornness is truly sisterly; we were even called the devil's twins (or double trouble) for the longest time.

Father looks at me proudly, smirking. "Father, could we hurry this up. I have places to be,"I sigh, stretching out my arms as if I were yawning. "Serena, I have called upon you to rise a rebellion. I have become aware that my people have fallen from my reach..."He starts to say. Agh I'm already bored with this conversation. Stop giving me these stupid details and tell me already.
I sigh and hold out my hand, looking at my nails. Hmmmm... Maybe I should repaint them. Which one black or navy blue?
"Serena! Are you paying attention?!"Father grumbles snapping me out of my thoughts. "Um could you just get to the point... I don't have all day,"I tell him, trying not to make him too disappointed. I'm not scared of my father it's just I really wouldn't want to be in the situation where he was angry with me. "I need you to start a rebellion!!! I already told you!"He yells at me. I sigh. "Ok is that all?"I ask. "I need you to dig into the old Guy's skin, ok? Have some fun with it dear... Just remember that I'm counting on you,"He reminds me. "I would have fun with or without you telling me to by the way but you don't have to worry about me... Serena's the name causing trouble, breaking hearts, and ruining people's lives is the game,"I smirk saluting my father.
"I wonder why I got this mission and you didn't,"I say sarcastically to Jess, elbowing her as I walk past.
Let's see what this mission has in store.
