Our herd left the meadow the next morning. We were all still trying to figure out what happened.nobody knew how those humans found us. It had never happened before. 

" are we there yet?" Whined Aztec, a brown and white paint around my age. When his answer was no, he whined and whined, asking and asking about when we would be there. I groaned. That colt can be very annoying. "foals these days, got no patience whatsoever. And quite rude too." Muttered an old gray stallion. " and whata' ya complaining 'bout  Ya old' stallion, ya war jast like tha' when' ya' was a colt!" An old pale chestnut mare argued back. I had a feeling that this long trip, was going to get even longer.we had flown for what felt like several moons, but had only been one moon. We Finally landed in a very large valley, it was beautiful!soft green grass carpeted the ground, and fruit trees of different fruit grew among some oak trees. A crystal clear river flowed through my paradise,small fish darting out to catch the occasional food that drifted down the river. Soft moss decorated the river bank, but what caught my attention was an enormous red tree, with a giant nest similar to an eagle's nest, but bigger, rested at the top. I looked around at everything in amazement. Flamehoof, the lead stallion, told everyone to be good, especially since we are about to talk to a griffin, whatever that is.

i heard a faint sound of flapping wings, but it grew stronger. A golden colored creature with an eagle head, eagle claws as front hooves, wings like an eagle, back hooves like that of a lion's and even a lion tail! That must be a griffin. Flamehoof bowed, and the others did the same. I wasn't sure what to do exactly, so I stood there, still in awe at the griffin. It was a stallion, I think. " what brings you back here Flamehoof?" Asked the griffin, his feathers shining gold in the sun. "Sunlight, we have come to seek refuge from the humans here, our home has been found." Our leader replied, still bowing. " you may stay, but I don't want to see anyone of your herd in or near my nest." Sunlight told him, saying it loud enough for everyone in the herd to hear.

short time skip because if there wasn't a time skip, you would be sleeping because of how boring it was:

after I found a perfect cave for the herd, we filled it with grass and other items, then each walked to their dams( not a bad word, just name for a mother horse!) and started to sleep. I stayed with Eagle feather, because my sire and my dam were gone now.i felt tired after the long trip and soon fell fast asleep
