Sybryna turned the corner hoping school hasn't started yet. She leaped over a cat and ran to school. Her line was just going inside as she caught up. "coming in to hot!" she said almost crashing into Katauna. "That's what she said" Abbey said under her breath. "You wouldn't of missed anything 6th grade is just a pile of crap" Katauna said while they walked inside. The day was boring. "I think i fell asleep for a minute" Sabryna said as they walked out to recces. {Being the cocky children we are} "You just want me to make jokes" Abbey said as they walked up to the, uh- twirly thing. It is just a weird squiggly bar that you sit on and twirl down. "I wish Mr. Woodsen, could raise my grades" she said. "That's not the only thing you want him to raise!" Abbey said. She laughed then she said woah as she put her hand in her pocket. what the she pulled out a crystal around it was a black band.

  The crystal was blue and almost looked like a tear drop. "What's that?" Tatyana asked. "I don't know" Abbey replied flipping it around. On the back it looked like that almost someone had carved a word into it "Laughter" Katauna said reading over her back. After a while Abbey clipped it around her neck. When they got inside she put it in her back pack. Katauna wondered about the 'amulet' Abbey found, well that's what they thought it was. She looked across the room and heard Tatyana gasp. She looked over and saw her holding an amulet like Abbey's. It was green though, and looked like a rose. At lunch she showed it to them "It was in my desk" she said. On the back it read nature. Later that day as Katauna looked in her back pack she found something.

It was a jewel. On a black velvet string. It was red and looked like a flame on the back it said kindness. Third recces finally came and Katuana showed them. "This is freaky!" she said. They all agreed. Abbey burst out laughing when she got her breath she said "So is your internet history! HEYO!" They laughed and a thin trickle started to come down. Sabryna kicked a stone and Tatyana threw it into the grass. "Wait" Sabryna said racing after it. She came back holding a Jewel like they had. It was almost clear with a white tint. It was shaped like a swirl. They ran inside as the wind picked up. "This is crazy" she murmured. They left school then returned home. The 'amulets' in their pockets...
