Dimitri
So Aaron and I head off in the direction of the gas station. I was kinda excited because this is my second real adventure! Well is this considered an adventure? Finally I agree that it was an adventure, and decided to write a book on all the adventures I go on during my lifetime. I notice that Aaron keeps looking behind him once in a while. It's starting to make me nervous. This guy was going to kill me just the other day, and now I'm walking with him in the middle of no where. I start to slow done, so I can be behind him, but he slows too. Then Aaron looks behind him one last time, and grabs my shoulder and pushes me to the ground.
“Don't ever make me look dumb ever again!" Aaron roars, “Do you hear me!" I don't even know all the English basics, and when he's yelling I can't understand him. I didn't know how to answer his question, so I rush it. I shook my head yes.
“Good, now let's get going, I don't want to be out in the sun all day." Then on that note he took off in a sprint. I could barely keep up with him. There was no need back in Russia to run like this. We reached the gas station in a gruesome thirteen minutes off hard running. But the worst part of this situation is that Aaron isn't even phased by the long distance run, I on the other hand could of laid on the ground and died. I went into the gas station and grabbed a package of water, and sat down. I drank three whole water bottles before my body calmed down. In the past week I had almost died three times, but who's counting anyways? After my period of relaxing I got up and offered Aaron a drink. He took it generously. I guess the run tired him out more then I thought. We found empty gas containers and filled them up. I wondered the store while I waited for Aaron to tell me it time to run, or in my opinion, dying slowly, back to Lacy and James. I came across bikes. Well l was outside looking for the bathroom then, but I still found them. Point for me. I wheeled them up toward the front where Aaron was sitting, but he wasn't anywhere in sight. Instead, in his place, was the first American I met. The man that beat me when I couldn't hear anymore. But before I could find somewhere to hide he spotted me.
"Well nice to see you again Dimitri! I knew you wouldn't stay dead for long, so I came looking for you. You want to know something else? I researched you boy, and I know everything about you now. But I'll leave now, with the satisfaction that I know that you know I can find you anywhere, and at any time. Good Bye Dimitri."
Then the man left. How could he have research me?! And how did he know my name? Did I tell him? Now that I think about it, I can't really remember anything from that night, well besides the fact that I got my life practically beaten out of me.
I watch as the man road off past the horizon in his fancy car. I'm going to remember that car no matter what. I promise myself. A few minutes pass by, and I see something, or someone move. I watch as Aaron comes out from behind a big metal thing.
“What was that about?" He asked.
“Uh... nothing just forget it. It's in my past now." And that's all I say about it. He doesn't ask about anything else either. “I found bikes that we can hook the gas tanks too, and now we won't kill ourselves again by running." He doesn't say anything, just walked up to me and grabbed a bike. He walked into the store, and grabbed some rope. Then he got to work on tying the gas tanks to his bike. I tried, but failed. One thing I haven't noticed was that they were swollen slightly, and trembling. I sure hope that guy can't find me again. That this was just luck that we were in the same place at the same time. I decided quickly that the first chance I get to sneak away unnoticed I'll do it. Aaron finished tying the ropes, and we both got on our bikes. And with that we were back off on, once again, another adventure, back to the car. Today is not going as planned, not at all.
