Ember's POV:

I was freaking out. I just kissed a dude that I just met!!

After we kissed he blushed more and so did I.

"I-I'm sorry." he mumbled.

"Oh no, it's fine!!" I said, maybe a bit too quickly.

We both blushed even more.

After a while Kitty-Kat came back in. She saw us both blushing and went wide-eyed.

"I-I'll come back later." she mumbled.

"No, it's fine." I said.

I got up. He got up as well.

"We can explain." he and I said at the same time, and we both blushed even more.

She rolled her eyes.

"You guys are so cliché." she mumbled.

I rubbed the back of my neck awkwardly. Jack ran a hand through his hair.

"So, how are we gonna figure out how this even happened?" she asked.

"Yeah. How about I take you two to meet the guardians?" Jack suggested.

"Sure, but how?" she asked.

"I'll be right back." he said.

We both nodded and he flied out of the room.

"So, you like him?" Kitty-Kat asked.

"I think so." I mumbled awkwardly.

"Think so?! You guys kissed!!" she said.

"I know, I know." I mumbled.

I smiled a bit. Does this mean he actually likes me? Do I like him?

"So, do you like him?" She asked, poking me in the side.

I batted her hand away and laughed. She tried to poke me again and I pushed her away. She was about to try yet again, but I beat her to it and tickled her. She shrieked and moved away quickly. I laughed and watched as she huffed in fake frustration and crossed her arms.

"Awe, did I hurt the baby's feelings?" I joked.

"Shut up." she said, smiling a bit.

We chatted for a while longer, then Jack flew back in. We turned and I saw he had a snow globe in his hand. I gave him a questioning look.

"Watch this." he said.

He whispered to it then tossed it to the ground. It shattered and formed a colorful portal. Kitty-Kat and I stared at it in shock.

"Ladies first." he said.

I walked through first, then Kitty-Kat, and last but not least, Jack. I looked around in wonder. I was in a giant toy workshop.

"Ember, Kitty-Kat, welcome to the North Pole." Jack said.
