"Mark, are you alright?" Wade asked, breaking the uneasy silence minutes after I had kicked Jack and his little fuck of a friend out. I stood, not moving at all. Not wanting to move because of the fear of completely collapsing with one step. "Mark?"
"Did you really cheat on Jack too?" Bob asked. I shook my head slowly. "Then why did you say it?"
"I could've lied and played it like an asshole, or I could've started crying. I figured I didn't want to do the lateral. If he wants to treat me that way then I don't need him, and I don't want him here." I finished my explanation with the tone of my voice rising. I don't need him anymore. I don't, I keep telling myself, I don't.
"So clearly that answers my question." Wade sighed. "You know, I knew he wasn't good from the second you met him it was a bad idea -"
"So why don't you get your fucking 'I told you so' over with so I don't have to hear it again!?" I snapped at Wade as I turned to him. He seemed slightly shocked at first but without trouble spoke.
"I told you so." He scoffed at me and left the room. Bob sat on the couch, waiting for me to fall apart I guess. But I sang going to. I wasn't fucking going to.
If Jack didn't care, then so fucking be it. If he didn't care about me then I didn't care about him at all. That was the way it was going to be, I wasn't going to give thought to this anymore. I was just going to move on with my life. That was that. I was sick of him, I was, and I wasn't going to let a little brat like him ruin my life.
I was right about him, I was. Not Wade, me. I knew that I should have kept it professional but dammit I can be stupid sometimes. I knew and I did it anyways. I know better now, I won't fall for it again. Ever.
I walked back upstairs to my room, and slammed the door shut. I took a deep breath as I walked across the room, looking at my bed made me wrinkle my nose in disgust.
Sheesh Jack, if you were going to cheat you could at least not do it in my bed.
I laughed a little at my sarcasm. I was serious but if I could manage to make a joke out of this I would be fine. Walking towards the window, I could see Felix and Jack arguing in the parking lot before Jack stormed off and left Felix in the slushy parking lot.
Funny, Jack was going to turn on his friend because he couldn't take the guilt.
No, that wasn't it. Was it?
Did Felix, actually care about Jack? Did he like him? I never listened to the story and I never got an answer to my question and frankly I didn't want one. I wanted to keep the Irish boy out of my mind, for good. I never wanted to see him again, then, I got another idea.
Pulling out my phone, I texted a little "resource" I had and I immediately got retribution for it.
"Thank you Emily." I laughed lightly before plugging my phone in. I went to bed and got up early enough to dress myself. I smiled at the mirror before walking downstairs. If Jack wanted to play a game I would show him who the real winner is.
I headed out to my car and drove down to the high school where I first met the boy, walking inside, I was greeted by custodians and early teachers before heading down to where the headmaster was. Opening the door, I peaked my head inside and greeted them a good morning.
"Mr. Fischbach, what an unexpected surprise." He smiled and I returned it, taking another step inside. "What can I do for you?"
"Well, Mr. Maddison, I just learned something about one of your students and I think it needs to be dealt with right quick." This sentence made the man look at me with surprise. I continued with his permission. "Your valedictorian, Sean McLoughlin, has been - for the past four years - sleeping with his teachers in order to get the grades that he is going to be awarded with."
He spit some coffee out. "W-What!? That's a harsh accusation, Mr. Fischbach, you better be able to support that with some evidence."
"Take a look at my phone." I said and showed him all of the incriminating details that Emily had sent me like the little snake she is. Messages, photos, anything you could think of - she had it. And she was more than willing to take Jack down if it meant I was on board.
"My.." The man mumbled. "I'm going to have to show this to the superintendent. I wonder what we're going to do, this is a lot of teachers!" I shrugged my shoulders. "Thank you very much Mark. This is.. Mind blowing."
He handed me my phone, I sent him some files off of it and left it at that.
In a few days, it was all over the news and a Jack went from highest in class to not in it at all. I found some sweet vengeance in it. I texted him too.
Mark: Next time if you want to try and fuck me over, think twice. Have fun with your school issues sweetheart.
He texted me back many more times after that, but I never responded. I let his ship sink. Even though it was so wrong it felt so good, and now I knew that I was the one who had power. Not him.
Let that make a flirt like him think twice before trying to get with a teacher ever again.

This chapter was a little shorter than normal but you'll live.
We are almost finished the book, oh so sad. I think there will be two more chapters and a possibility of an epilogue? Who knows. Well, I guess I'll do by the time you see this because I write chapters in advance.
Also when this is done I'll release another book so you guys should check that out when it gets here. Also I do have another book if you're not reading it you can go take a little peak at it too.
That shameless self promotion.
Rinny!
