Chapter 14 "Getting To Know"
(This is the bottom part of her clothes. The top part of it will come soon. The part where the pants and shirt meet are connected btw. And yes, I know, it isn't a good picture and yes, I also know I chose weird clothes.)
3rd Perspective
The Ghost crew, Ahsoka, and Commander Sato were surrounding a projector.

(It sort of looks like this. But Commander Sato isn't a hologram.)
They were all spread out around it. Looking at different planets. Sabine suggested that if the Spectres were a small rebel group, then the Empire would have files of their attacks on different planets. The one with the most is where they will go to seek the Spectres and Ezra.
"I want to speak with this Liz person," Commander Sato requested. He only saw the girl unconscious. He hadn't seen nor spoke to her ever since. Commander Sato didn't think highly of Liz. He thought she would be just like Ezra. Irresponsible. Yet, it didn't come to his mind that Ezra has changed over the past years.
"Well, I asked the droid to tell her to meet us here. After she gets dressed of course," Hera said.
"Hera you asked that to the droid 20 minutes ago," Kanan corrected her.
"Fine, I'll ask the droid again." Hera said in a irritated tone.
"What seems to be the problem ma'am?" The droid asked politely as he came into the room.
"Where is Liz at?" Hera asked.
"She said she will not come out and greet you."
"What, why?" Sabine questioned.
"She says she doesn't want to see nor talk to you. She only obeys one person according to what she told me," the droid responded.
Kanan thought that since she is a padawan, she obeys Ezras demands. And since Kanan is Ezras master, she'll listen to him. Right? Liz did seem like the type of person that follows orders. But, she'll only do it if it is for a good cause. Hopefully.
"Tell her that Kanan told Liz to come out here and Ahsoka asked her, too."
"Okay," the droid obeyed. He walked out of the room.
"Kanan, do you think that will work?" Ahsoka wondered.
"Maybe."
A few minutes later Liz walked in. It worked alright. Liz had a bandaged arm and she was also limping. Why didn't she have crutches? Did they not give her some? Or did she decide not to use them? So many questions to ask, Kanan thought to himself.
"Did you call me Kanan and Ahsoka?" Liz said leaning on the projector for balance.
"Yes. About 20 minutes ago actually," Hera commented.
"Yea, I know. I'm just nerves amd a bit depressed."
"Of what?" Zeb asked. Chopper was making grumpy noises. Trying to ask the same question. He may want to say something to Liz with strong words in it.
"On how you guys will react to what I say about Master Bridger," Liz said. Rubbing the back of her next, she forced a smile.
"Did you say Master Bridger?" Kanan questioned. Ezra never called him Master. None less he never called him Master Jarrus. Only about once or twice had Ezra said the word master to him.
"Yes, I did. I respect and think highly about Ezra very much to call him like that. And hopefully you guys do, too"
"You think we don't think highly of Ezra?" Zeb questioned.
"No, I don't." Liz said looking straight at the crew.
"And why is that?" Commander Sato wondered.
"Well, you guys only let him lead a few missions. Commander Sato didn't think Ezra could handle getting them out of a Star Destroyer. And-- you know what, I should stop talking. I could go on forever." Liz said in a depressed tone. She looked down. No one new if she was going to cry, or just stare at the ground.
"Well, it makes sense. He is just a kid that doesn't know anything. He was a dumb kid living on the streets of Lothal. He doesn't know how to do things correctly," Zeb said.
"Neither do you Zeb," Liz retorted. Zeb looked at her. Everyone did. "We all make mistakes. We all need guidance every once in a while. Whether we want it or not. Besides, you can't call Master Bridger dumb anymore. He makes mistakes, but at least he knows what he is doing. And what missions to take on. He knows how to cover our tracks. That's why the Rebel Fleet doesn't know about us."
Everyone was speechless. Ahsoka was the only one that wasn't speechless. She understood her. She felt that way before when someone said something bad about her master. She was going to speak up, but Sabine beat her to it.
"Yeah, we used to, but we don't feel that way about Ezra anymore."
"Your lying. I can sense your emotions. You guys know you never thought highly of Ezra. Nor respected him a lot," Liz was now the one speechless. Searching for the right words to say, she finally found them. "Maybe, just maybe, I thought you guys changed your mind about Ezra. And even if you didn't...."
There was a short pause after that. No one dared to speak up because they knew she was right of how they think about Ezra. Although they did respect Ezra, they never thought of him as a smart guy to much.
"You guys will change your mind about Master Bridger after you know what he has been doing. Without the Rebel Fleet. And without the Ghost crew."
"Your right. We shouldn't judge Ezra because we know nothing about him anymore," Kanan admitted. "It's not if we knew anything about him in the past anyways."
"It's alright Kanan. You and the crew have been through a lot." Liz said with pity in her eyes. They looked at each other. They both gave a weak smile.
"I know that is a bad timing, but may you explain to us who the Spectres are and where Ezra is," Commander Sato demanded. It wasn't a question at all. He was upset because for over 2 years, lose rebels have been, and still are, wondering around doing mission, while they could be leading a hand to the Rebel Fleet. Especially when their leader is Ezra. He worked with the Empire meaning he has valuable information of what they are building in the far future.
"Sure. The Spectres are a small group of rebels. The group is made up of a few people that used to work with the Empire. One of them is Zare Leonis. He was the one that gave a bit of information to the Ghost crew and was Ezras friend. His girlfriend, Merei Spanjaf, his family, and a few friends helped him from the outside world to find his sister, Dhara. He escaped with his sister. This is just information of the back story of how the Spectres started." Liz finished.
"Wait, those are the Spectres! The ones we helped escape the Empire?," Hera asked.
"Yes Hera. Zare Leonis and his friends decided to call themselves Spectres because you guys refer to each other with the name spectre then a number after it."
"Well that was nice of them," Hera smiled.
"Yeah. It was, but they didn't officially call themselves like that or start to rebel against the Empire until Master Bridger came along. The Spectres helped Master Bridger escape the Empire and they started to get noticed by the Empire when Master Bridger came along, too." Liz said in a proud voice, "I'm glad I got to know him and the rest. Especially, Masters friend Lexi."
"Who's Lexi?" Commander Sato asked. So many new people to remember, Commander Sato thought.
"Lexi is a friend of Master Bridger and I. She is our technologist expert. She gets mad when we call her a hacker, even though that is the thing she does almost everyday," Liz explained.
"Do a lot of people work with the Spectres?" Ahsoka asked.
"Well, I will say who is apart of the Spectres. Zare and Dhara Leonis, Merei Spanjaf, Spanjaf parents and a few other people that have been apart of it since the beginning, and other that joined later on," Liz explained again.
"People joined the Spectres?" Commander Sato questioned. He has the most questions of them all. Liz was getting tired of only answering his questions.
"Yes indeed," Liz nodded. This time, she put on a real smile. She was happy that they want to learn more of what Ezra is apart of, "The Spectres aren't a quiet group of rebels. They only stay low on only one planet. And since Master Bridger wanted any type files of them to be hidden, like attacks, and the planet we could be on, he asked Lexi to steal the files and keep them in a safe place. And if necessary, to destroy them."
"Has Ezra joined the Spectres? As in like, has he left the Ghost crew and the Rebel Fleet behind?" Kanan asked with a crestfallen face. Liz didn't know what to say next. Not because she's afraid of how they will behave to her response, but because she doesn't know the answer to the question.
~Remember how to pronouce Liz's name or just pronouce it normally. Anywho bye. Hope you enjoyed.
