Standing next to Kay, I can feel my blood chilling. Damn, I had said this wouldn't happen to me again... but I couldn't control it. She had hurt this poor, innocent girl who just wanted to talk to her!

I felt my fingers turn to ice... except I didn't, because they filled with that familiar numbing sensation. It spread to my wrists, and I flinched because I had been focusing on my hands and my feet had turned to ice.

And there it was, my finger popping, allowing the ice to become working joints and allow me to move once again. I hear Zarina gasp as she hears it. I had said this wouldn't happen to me again.

"Don't worry Rina, dear, I'd never hurt you." I say, feeling my voice start as smooth as ice, and end as sharp as an icicle. I don't want this to happen, but I can't feel anything... so my resolve is slowly disappearing. What's the point? I know I can't control, so why try?

I start to giggle... and then I feel my heart turn to ice.
