I woke up on the hard concrete floor of my cell. It had been a while since that night. About a year or so. I looked to my left as I heard stirring. It was Anise, my cell mate. She woke up as I did and sat up.

I scooted backwards and sat against the back wall with my arms around my knees. Anise did the same except her legs were straight out, her arms on her lap. We both looked forward, staring into the slightly lit cell and at the bars on the front. The small barred window above us let in only a little light. It seemed to always have an overcast outside anyways.

I looked at Anise, taking in her figure and put my legs out in front of me.

She had grey eyes. Her hair was red on top brown in the middle and electric white at the tips. She wore black boots and leggings. Her short sleeve
v-neck was grey and she had a loose black hoodie on. Most of it was torn a little. I then looked at her necklace. Other than mine being the Flower of Life, hers was the Seed of life.

I smile then and put up my fist for a fist bump. She smiles back and bumps it with hers.

"I hope they give us a break, or we'll end up breaking like toys!" She said after a long silence.

I looked down at my own necklace, "Yeah..."

It got silent again and she looked down at her necklace. After what seemed like forever she spoke, "Well I'm bored of this." She jumped up and started spinning.

My eyes widened, "What are you doing Anise..." I say dryly.

She doesn't stop but says, "This is fun!"

I shrug my shoulders, "What the heck." I get up and start spinning too.

But I got too dizzy and had to stop. I put my hand on the wall to keep myself from falling over.

Then I heard a noise and looked up to the cell bars. Anise was oblivious and kept spinning until I shoved her so she would stop. I could tell she was dizzy, but knew she could see the figures I could see too.
