Clark looked shocked when I knew it was her. She sat next to me and said "Hello I am Clark Redwood. It's nice to meet you." I could not help but to smile and I said, "Well hello Clark I'm Karmen Lendersoneder. What brings you to Groundertwiskies?" Before she  could answer 18 people sat at my table. I recognized Abby, Angelina, Bea, Natalie, Victoria, Vega, Rosalie, Emmett, Jasper, Edward, Alice, Bella, Esme and Kate. I didn't know the rest. Clark said "We wanted to explore the world so why not come here. A nice small town. You know a total of how many of us?" I said "I know 15 of you." Bea said "Ya the Redwood family is big. The other 4 are Toven, Lexa, Blair, and Leah." I waved at them and grabbed out my sketch book. I was drawing a wolf pack surrounding 19 people and a large wolf wrapped around the people. I drew a river behind them. Lexa said "Dame you draw really good." I smiled gave it to her and said "Thanks. Here. Keep it. I have to go now. See y'all later" I then walked off to my class. I had gym and was stuck with the last four of the Redwood's. Coach had us running on the track and the next thing I know is I'm surrounded by the four of them when I was running. Leah said "You are pretty fast." I smirked and said "Yeah it happens when you like to run a lot. You get faster and don't even notice but everyone else does. " We went back in five minutes before the bell went off. The Redwoods and I talked the whole class period. I learned more about them and they learned more about me. I don't normally open up to people but dame it my mate was a Redwood. A shifter to be exact and she wont know that because she hasn't shifted yet. She will soon. I left school after my gym class because I had no other classes after gym. though school was still in for about 3 more hours I left and went to work. I was working when a group of shifters came in. I heard them talking about vampires and wolves working together and they were going to make a treaty with them but instead ambush them and eliminate them before they turn or eat humans. These mutts are stupid and will know the legendary hybrid is true. Nobody attacks my mate or her family. I was getting pist so I needed to leave before I shifted. When I ran out to the forest and ran home I wasn't expecting to fight but I might have to. I heard a scream and ran towards the sound to see the 19 kids. I ran to them protecting them. The shifters growled and Leah had shifted but I was her alpha. I knew once we were a pack she would know my past and what happened to my old pack. She would see what my so called mate did to me. I was brought out of my thoughts by a growl. I looked at a black wolf that was two feet smaller than me. I knew he was challenging me so we started fighting. I fought till he was on the ground with his tail between his legs. I nudged Leah and surprisingly she fallowed me so did the others. Jacob came shifted and said "Dame you Karmen. They will be treated like you then. You will regret this." I ignored him and kept walking. I made it to my house and shifted back and said "Leah imagine your human self and shift. " Leah said "I saw your past. It was like I imprinted on you but at the same time I didn't. " I smiled and said "It was the pack bond forming."
