Alli gets up off her bed and glances out her broken window, noticing that it's snowing. She groans and puts her head down on the windowsill. 

"This is the first time it's snowed all year. I hope this won't affect anything," She sighs. She hasn't left her room except to get food. Even then, it was during the night when everyone was asleep. I could possibly actually interact with people for once.

She heads out of her room and downstairs towards the band room. As she enters, everyone stops what they were doing and gasps could be heard throughout the room. Ethan gets up and runs over to Alli. She feels him wrap his arms around her tightly. Slowly, she wraps hers around him in return. 

"Ok, Ethan, you can let go now," Alli finally says after a few, long moments. Ethan lets go. Quickly, his face turns red from embarrassment.

"Oh, sorry. I was just worried since I haven't seen you in a while," He explains awkwardly and scratches the back of his head. Alli rolls her eyes.

Jade motions for her to follow her to the practice room. Both girls go into the practice room and Jade closes the door. "So, I haven't told you about anything that has happened since I took over," Her voice goes solemn.

"What happened?" She stays silent for a few moments.

"Trinton," She pauses as tears build up in her eyes. Alli gets the message almost immediately.

"Jade, just know, it wasn't your fault. I'm sure it was an accident."

"It was. Evan accidentally shot him and he bled out too fast for us to save him," Jade explains. "Evan hasn't been out of his room since." Alli remembers seeing Evan every once in a while when she would come out to get food and such.

"So, where are Summer, Dakota, Nick, Dylan, and Brian?" Alli asks, not recalling seeing the 5 of them at all.

"I sent them out to go find resources this morning."

"You-you what?!" Alli grabs Jade's shoulders. "Jade, it is starting to get cold out, and the fact that it's snowing indicates that winter is really close. And from how the weather has been lately, it doesn't look like it's going to be one of those mild ones we've had in years past. You sent three of our strongest guys out, leaving us with only two, even then one of them hasn't been seen for who knows how long!" Jade pushes Alli off.

"Well, what am I supposed to do then? Let everyone starve?! Alli, it's better to lose 5 people than the whole damn group. I sent the strongest out because they are better off surviving than everyone else."

"Well, what if we're attacked? We have 1 person who would be strong enough if he wasn't stupid enough to get bit, so he's too sick to fight. Trinton is dead, Evan is rarely seen, Caleb and Corbin are literally the only people who could save us. I'm sorry to say, but all the girls left behind are too weak to do anything," Alli reasons.

"What about Tyler?" Jade suggests. Alli scoffs.

"He's just about as smart as Ethan. Not only did you send out our strongest, but what about Summer and Dakota? Those two are the smallest and weakest people in this entire group." Jade nods towards the office.

"Ethan. Both have been too hung up with Ethan that they needed to get their minds off him."

"You need to think about everyone's health Jade! Not just two people." Jade stops listening to whatever Alli is saying as she notices her starting to panic. "I can't be-"

"Alli, Alli, Alli, Alli, it's ok. I made sure they had all the supplies they needed. I sent 3-4 raincoats out with each of them. They will be fine. Now go and socialize with the others. I have this under control." Alli takes a couple of deep breathes and nods. Her and Jade both walk out of the practice room.

Alli turns around and crouches down to whisper something to Jade. "Why is Ethan up and around?" Jade shrugs.

"You know how he is. He's too stubborn to listen." Alli shakes her head and walks over to Chloe and Courtney.
