About the Author
Grace Hamilton is Australian-born journalist and freelance writer. She grew up in the small-town of Logan Village, where she attended Canterbury College for 14 years. An avid English and Visual Art student, Grace was accepted into Bond University on a leadership scholarship for 2021, and has recently completed her final semester of a Bachelor of Journalism, majoring in French.
As a child, Grace was passionate about literature, taking any opportunity to write fictional stories to share with her family, and periodically raiding the household bookshelf to pick a new Patricia Cornwell. In her adolescence, she was awarded dux of English and Visual Art for year 12, which sparked her interest in Journalism. With her senior artwork featured in the Logan Art Gallery in 2018 and 2020, Grace began exploring how people express their stories and experiences when others refuse to listen.
In 2021, after commencing tertiary studies, she struggled with mental health and body image, which prevented her from attending university and social events. Eight months into recovery, Grace published her own website, posting lifestyle and wellness blogs alongside several contemporary issue-based articles. In early 2022, following the growth of her website and social media storytelling, she was named in the Australian Business Journal as one of Australia's top 20 Social Media Managers. Her debut novel trailer 'The Lessons We Learn' is a snippet of the work she aims to complete following her university degree.
The mini-series tells the incredible stories of everyday individuals who often go unheard, with an emphasis on the lessons to be learned.
