Meaghan’s POV

I woke up and felt an arm around me. My boyfriend Niall. I don’t care if he’s not alive! I still love him! I smiled and felt something blow into my ear. I giggled and turned around to see the beautiful ocean blue eyes that I love.

“Morning Princess!” Niall said.

“Morning Niall!” I exclaimed. He kissed my nose and I blushed.

“What do you want to do today babe?” He asked me.

“Stay in bed with you.” I answered. Niall chuckled and kissed the top of my head. He is perfect.

Taylor’s POV

I feel so bad! Meaghan is getting lonely so she is creating imaginary friends! How can I not see my sister lonely? How did I not know that? I woke up with Liam’s soft snores. I smiled and gently unwrapped his arm around me so I can go get some breakfast. I went past Meaghan’s room when I heard giggling. I stopped in my tracks and put my ear up against the door.

“Morning Niall!” I heard Meaghan exclaim. It was silent for a while, until Meaghan spoke again. “Stay in bed with you.” I huffed and walked away. I know she is lonely, but I think she is taking this Niall thing a little bit too far. She is acting like they are dating. Have I really not been hanging out with her so she’ll feel that lovely? Apparently so. I shrugged it off. I’m going to spend time with her today! That is my plan!

“What are we doing?” Meaghan asked.

“Watching your favourite show!” I exclaimed and put on Cops. I’m not really sure why Cops is her favourite show, but I’m going to be honest with you. It is a good show. But I wouldn’t call it my favourite. I’d watch it, but not all the time. This is killing me though! I need to know!

“Meaghan are you lonely?!” I blurted out. Meaghan looked confused and then it all went away and she smiled.

“No! I have my best friends here with me! Why would you say that?” She asked me.

“It’s just that this morning I heard you talking. But no one answered.” Meaghan chuckled.

“Of course I got an answer! He’s my boyfriend!” Now I was the one who was confused.

“You have a boyfriend? Who?” I asked to get more information.

“Niall!” She exclaimed smiling.

“Meaghan Niall isn’t real! You are just lonely!” I said. She gasped loudly.

“Niall is real!”

“Then why can’t I see him?”

“He’s a ghost!” She answered. I snorted.

“Niall is a ghost?! There is no such thing as ghosts Meaghan!” She looked up at me with a hurtful expression. Normally that would make me feel guilty, but at this moment it doesn’t. Why won’t she just admit that she is lonely?

“You- you don’t believe me?” She asked me, her voice almost cracking. I didn’t know what to say. I want to believe her but I just can’t. I don’t believe in ghosts and shit like that. A tear fell down to her cheek and she ran upstairs. So much for spending time with her today.
